Each time I think about praising

the name of God in song, I remember

family get togethers and how my family

would gather to sing

old hymns around my Mamaw's

antique grand piano as she or my mother

played the music and the harmonies from

family began to melt together.

Each time I read this Scripture, I

remember fondly those days and

feel so blessed to have such a

rich Christian heritage...

and I give Thanks!

A Week of Scripture Inspiration

This card was created from a great little stamp

that is part of the See Ya Later Stamp Set

in the 2014 Sale-A-Bration from Stampin' Up!

The color combination of Cherry Cobbler, Summer Starfruit

and Basic Gray is quite attractive. I used the

Decorative Dots Embossing folder to deboss

the layer of block colors. In Color Stitched Ribbon in

Summer Starfruit was added as an accent under the

Whisper White layer for the Sentiment that was stamped in

Basic Gray and accented with the Red Glimmer heart.

Key to My Heart

Today's feature for 14 Days of Love

is elegant and quick to create.

This 5" square card of Whisper White has a

layer of Designer Series Paper from the Fresh Prints

Paper Pack adhered with Dimensionals.

Next, using a great set of

Spellinders Heart Circles Dies,

I created the Real Red foundation.

I then added a Heart shape cut

with the Hearts Framelits

and adhered a Golden Lock Plate

cut from a Gold Foil Sheet.

To do this I started with a square and

punched a Tiny Tag shape

out of the middle

and then crafted the outer shape

to look like a lock plate.

Both were embossed with the

Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder

before being adhered to the

heart foundation with Dimensionals.

The key was cut using the

Gold Foil Sheet again and

Spellbinders Lacy Hearts Dies.

Notice that the 3 mini hearts on the

Whisper White Heart were the punched

hearts that came out of the

Hearts Circles Die of Real Red.
