Today, I decided to go out and look around for some cool Twitter backgrounds to share with you. How about getting a fully customized Twitter background or something that is different from the default one? Here are some useful sites that offer both free and paid Twitter background customizations. With a background different from others, your profile will carry a feeling of uniqueness. A custom twitter background helps you stand out from the crowd. It makes a good impression and takes your brand one step forward. Here are the best places to lookout for great twitter backgrounds.

Twitbacks – offers free Twitter backgrounds but contains a small Twitback branding logo which can only be removed if you pay $4.95.

This short video, inspired by Transformers, shows us what really goes on inside our home computers. This video gives a glimpse into the real world of home computers. Utilizing everything from motion capture animation and HDRI, to massive amounts of tracking and 3D compositing, it was Nick Greenlees goal to present something that not only looked good, but could entertain the audience as well. Nothing too extravagant here, but still shows quite a few advanced techniques in motion graphics.

Tabbed Widgets Plugin

The tabbed interfaces are the most common on newspaper type website where they can save a lot of vertical space and make it look less cluttered. They are particularly useful if you want to have longer tab titles or more tabs that would not otherwise fit into the given horizontal size.

Features:

Use other widgets for the tab content and specify a custom tab title.
Make tabs rotate in a set interval so that they become more noticeable and prominent.
Set a random start tab on each page load so that all tabbed content gets equal exposure.
Make unlimited number of tabbed widgets that can be then used as regular widgets under ‘Design’ > ‘Widgets’.

Adobe AIR Moderator: WordPress Plugin

Moderator is a WordPress Plugin, built using Adobe AIR, that allows you to view and moderate comments from your desktop. This is an early release of the application. As such, there are probably bugs and other issues that you may run into. Some of the features of the application include:

Viewing unmoderated comments.
Dock and system tray notifications of the number of unmoderated comments.
Accept, delete, and spam comments from within the desktop client.
Close application window, or minimize it to the system tray while running.
Shows the Gravatar icons for the user who posted the comment.

Moderator currently requires version 2.6+ of WordPress be installed. Also, you will need Adobe AIR 1.1, which runs on Mac, Windows, and is currently in beta on Linux.
