<itunes:summary>Regular monographic showcase exclusive mixes of some of the most notable and innovating netlabels.
Nobody in the netlabel sphere knows its releases better than who has given birth to them, and also, who has established its quality standards and infraestructure to publish it to the audience.
Also nobody better than who is behind the netlabels, its curators or collaborators, could make a more representative sample of the philosophy of them. This is why ive placed each of selected netlabels to manufacture an exclusive mix to showcase their published (or not) works.</itunes:summary>

Although both pieces are constructed similarly on superimposed layers struck here and there by incisive elements, they are quite distinct in character. The second, to become appears intense, grave, as do its sounds.

Drift, which opens the diptych, is more brilliant; it’s lighter. But its abrupt ending prepares us for what follows. The duration of both pieces, approximately five minutes each, invites the listener to listen repeatedly. In this sense, I specially recommend listening to drift for the second time right after to become, thus transforming the diptych into a triptych where to become is the central element. As you listen, drift reaches depths strengthened by to become that, in first instance (or at least that is what happened to the undersigned) had nearly passed unnoticed.”…

From the, expected, mess of the first concerts emerged a collective consciousness and involvement from the impressive number of musicians included in this ambitious projet. After a year – and 7 concerts – 40 of them met during 3 day during the 2011 summer, marking a sensitive step in the orchestra progression. Working deeply a certain amount of pieces – concepts and conductions – appeared a new sound quality, a opening of the space, a fragility of the volume, a more electroacoustique, minimal, “concrète” direction. The orchestra started to think as an an emsemble, with multiple components but looking to project a unique/common sound, to look for details, restraint, variable densities, breathes, drones, subbasses…”…

There is also some clever while subtle use of voice samples. ‘Lucid Dream’ is the perfect foreground/background style constructed ambient release. You can listen to the background frame being played, a rhythmic layer of ambient drones and harmonic details while the foreground offers a lot of clear sounds, mainly found sounds and voice samples. This works quite good at giving you a realistic image of what you’re hearing, kind of like in a ‘real life sounds with soundtrack underneath’ kind of way.”…

In order to make the process as fair and unbiased as possible, music journalists, visual artists as well as musicians have been asked to make the selection.”…
