<p>And finally, here it is: Insanity Workout Schedule &#8211; Day 63 &#8211; Fit Test 5.  I actually followed through and finished something.  And because it was something as mentally hard and physically challenging as the Insanity Workout makes it especially sweet.</p>
<p>My &#8216;Before and After&#8217; pictures start off the video.  I&#8217;m pretty proud of my results and you&#8217;ll see why.</p>
<p>As always, I recorded the FULL Fit Test in its entirety from Sean T&#8217;s intro, to the warm-up and stretch, the 8 test exercises, the final cool-down, plus a special final wrap up with my two favorite girls!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve got lots to brag about the Fit Test itself, too&#8230; but you&#8217;re gonna have to watch and see how many personal bests I got today.</p>
<p>In addition, I explain what&#8217;s next after Insanity.  So be sure to watch as well as sign up for the reports as I&#8217;ll be adding more to this blog from time to time.  You don&#8217;t want to miss a thing.</p>

<p>Insanity Workout Schedule &#8211; Day 62 &#8211; Max Cardio Conditioning and Cardio Abs is a workout that almost didn&#8217;t happen.  That&#8217;s right, even after all my talk about having a commitment to making these daily video logs to keep me accountable, I was still so tempted to SKIP today&#8217;s workout that I almost DID!</p>
<p>Thank goodness for my gorgeous wife (and accountability partner) Maggie for holding my (very tired) feet to the fire.  As you&#8217;ll see in the video, it was actually 9:30 PM &#8211; as in the EVENING &#8211; by the time I actually did this workout.  But hey, I DID it on the day that I was supposed to (instead of editing the upload time and date of this video as I was initially intending to do).</p>
<p>So Day 62 really IS Day 62.  Can you imagine, copping out on the second last day of this incredible journey?  Did I ever tell you I was &#8216;Follow-through&#8217; challenged?  <img src='http://insanityworkoutschedule.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I love the interactive play between Maggie and I on this video.  I&#8217;m really looking forward to doing another series with her as we transition into our next workout routine &#8211; (although Maggie looks like she could pass for an aerobics instructor, she really is quite sedentary and this current Insanity Program is way too much for her at this time.)</p>
<p>So there&#8217;s only the Fit Test #5 coming up tomorrow to complete this program and it&#8217;s on to other things.  Maggie and I will be doing a version of &#8220;Ten Minute Workout&#8221; routines and then compliment those with just enjoying the outdoors for the summer.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve got a little rant for you on this Insanity Workout Schedule &#8211; Day 61 &#8211; Max Interval Plyo.  And it&#8217;s only because I&#8217;ve made it all the way to Day 61 that I can speak out on something like this.</p>
<p>During the course of my Insanity Workout journey, I&#8217;ve chatted with several individuals who told me, &#8220;Oh, you&#8217;re doing Insanity?  I did that last year.  It&#8217;s pretty good.&#8221;</p>
<p>Maybe it was their &#8216;matter-of-fact, nothing-to-it&#8217; attitude that tipped me off but I just had to ask them, &#8220;Did you do the SAME Insanity Program I&#8217;m doing&#8230; all 63 days?  The Insanity Program I&#8217;m talking about has me drenched in sweat, drop-dead on the floor after each workout.&#8221;</p>
<p>What&#8217;s the old saying, &#8220;Ask and you shall receive&#8221;.</p>
<p>The answers I got not only were revealing, I found them to be &#8211; well, you&#8217;re just gonna HAVE to watch the video for the rest of my little tirade!</p>
<p>So, have YOU done the Insanity Program?  I&#8217;m talking about really DOING IT now, full-out for the complete 63-day cycle.</p>
<p>REALLY?</p>
<p>First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!  Having done it myself (OK, 2 more days), I KNOW what a HUGE accomplishment that is.  I&#8217;d love to hear more about your experience.</p>
<p>If you haven&#8217;t done the Insanity Program but are thinking about it:</p>
<ol>
<li>Make sure this is the right exercise program for you (hint: it&#8217;s NOT for everyone &#8211; I definitely will NOT be doing it again!)</li>
<li>Get yourself an accountability partner.  (my commitment to make these daily videos have worked wonders at keeping me on track)</li>
<li>DO IT!</li>
</ol>

<p>Are you kidding me?  It&#8217;s Insanity Workout Schedule &#8211; Day 60 &#8211; Core Cardio and Balance.  Did I say Day 60?</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve said it before and I&#8217;ll say it again, YES &#8211; it was always my intention to do this Insanity Workout Schedule right to the end&#8230; but being severely &#8216;follow-through&#8217; challenged, I am not only very surprised but also extremely delighted to have made it this far with only three more days to go!</p>
<p>More often than I care to admit, even my best intentions tend to go astray.  The big difference this time is that I&#8217;ve recorded myself and plastered my vids on YouTube and Facebook to keep myself accountable.  Hey, it WORKED!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m actually feeling bitter-sweet about the last day now rapidly approaching.  My wife Maggie will really get a kick out of this next sentence: I&#8217;m gonna miss doing these workouts and videos!  (talk about SHOCK value&#8230; I NEVER miss anything!)</p>
<p>So what&#8217;s AFTER Insanity?  Oh, I&#8217;ve got lots of plans, but you&#8217;ll have to watch today&#8217;s video to find out.  <img src='http://insanityworkoutschedule.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>Did you remember to follow yesterday&#8217;s safety rules on this Insanity Workout Schedule &#8211; Day 59 &#8211; Max Interval Circuit?  In case you missed it, here is a quick review:</p>
<ul>
<li>Keep thermal heating in your room to a minimum by using heavy curtains</li>
<li>Use air conditioning if you have it</li>
<li>Use a fan for extra circulation to quickly evaporate your sweat</li>
<li>Drink more water</li>
<li>PACE YOURSELF!</li>
</ul>
<p>As we approach summer and the weather gets hotter, you have to be even smarter in order to stay safe.  Just as an example, I saw someone out running at the peak of heat and humidity yesterday around 3:30 PM.  Now there&#8217;s Insanity&#8230; and then there&#8217;s <em><strong>stupidity</strong></em>!</p>
<p>Sorry for being so blunt.  However, I felt I wanted to say something because I was extremely hot and sweaty just doing the 7-minute walk to pick up my daughter from school.  I couldn&#8217;t imagine going beyond that level of exertion in the kind of heat and humidity we had yesterday.  It really is NOT the smartest thing to do!</p>
<p>Be safe so you can BE AROUND to enjoy and show off that great body you work so hard to achieve!</p>

<p>What a difference a week makes on this Insanity Workout Schedule &#8211; Day 57 &#8211; Max Interval Plyo, to paraphrase the old song.</p>
<p>If you recall, it was only a week ago that I struggled through my worst workout of this entire Insanity Workout Schedule set.  I really did NOT want to exercise that day.  In fact, it was so tempting just to pack this whole experience in.</p>
<p>So WHAT exactly made the big difference?  You know that I went on to have a pretty decent week, exercise wise at least.  The weather certainly wasn&#8217;t anything to get excited about as it was cool and rainy most of the week.</p>
<p>In order to answer that question, you&#8217;ll have to watch today&#8217;s video.  If you&#8217;ve been following all 56 days so far, you can probably already guess the answer as I&#8217;ve referred to it several times.  If not&#8230; WATCH and learn!  <img src='http://insanityworkoutschedule.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>First, a big &#8216;Hats Off&#8217; to my old home team, the Boston Bruins for making it to the Stanley Cup finals for the first time in 20 years!  Testament to the power of THE SHIRT (as shown in the video &#8211; a gift from my brother to remind me of my roots!)</p>
<p>Speaking of shirts, one of the driving forces that is keeping me focused and following through, it&#8217;s the Insanity Shirt!  All I have to do is finish and prove that I&#8217;ve done the program by showing off my awesome results.  Did I mention that there&#8217;s power in shirts?</p>
