New courses start

The Economic Institution is starting its first semester on January/2/2016

All interested students can apply for the course from today.

No entrance exam is scheduled for the first semester since this semester is designed for the beginners. However, all applicants need to have access to English language because the classes will be delivered in English.

In the first semester, we will cover the very basic but important concepts of Micro and Macroeconomics.

The course is structured as follows;

1. Lectures about Microeconomics theories

2. Lectures about Macroeconomic concepts

3. Homework Assignments

4. Several quiz

5. Final exam by the end of 6 months

Students can retake the classes, if required. The successful ones will be encouraged to step to the next level of our lectures, the second semester. Information about our second semester will be soon posted on our blog.

Our primary objective is to cover as many students as possible. For this purpose, we give a 10% discount for students with special needs.

All students are required to pay tribute to our principles and follow our policy inside the campus. Actions will be taken against any kind of delinquency and misbehavior.

Contest

Dear students,

You are all encouraged to participate in the contest that is scheduled on 10 March 2017. Only students who are already enrolled in our institution can take part and compete with one another for the prizes. Those who come first, second, and third will be awarded prizes which will disclosed on the mentioned date.

The contest includes;

-Presentation: The list of the topics, to be presented, is prepared and will be shared with students who register for the contest. Each student will be given 20 minutes to present and 10 minutes will be allotted to questions and answers.

-A 5 page research: Students can select one out of 10 titles, listed for contest, and do research and write their findings in maximum 5 pages. Bibliography, tables, and figures are not included in the page range.

You can choose any of the above options and fill the relevant form for it. You will have a 2 weeks time for preparation. So, the lists, for both presentation and paper, will be distributed only on 25^th of February 2017.

The results and the winners of the contest will be introduced on 30^th March.

Introducing The Pioneer

Institution of Economics is a project which aims to provide educational services to those who choose economics as their field of expertise in universities. The purpose of the project is to give the required knowledge to the high-school graduates in order to help them be prepared to deal with economics area of study. Our services will be available to all interested individuals who need to take extra courses for better understanding of economic concepts and be prepared for their examinations.

The educational institution is be based in Kabul, Afghanistan where there is an excessive need for such an initiative as majority of our young generation do not have the basic understanding of economics. Thus, our work is an endeavor to respond to such need. Moreover, we want to investigate economic issues and publish our findings inside the country. The findings will be used as our study material as well.

Each year, we provide students with two semesters. The first semester is allocated to the basic understanding of economics. During this semester, students will be trained to successfully cope with all assignments in their first year of university. The second semester will be at the higher level where only students can get admission who can pass our first semester`s exam.
