Update DefaultIcon v. 2.0

After almost a year without update, we are happy to announce that DefaultIcon has finally reached version 2. There have been a lot of improvements both on quality and quantity. The total number of icons reached a whopping 653. A lot of care has been put through in quality in terms of both clarity, and unification.

The set is completely customizable as it is available in eps format. The package also includes a png format , in black color, and sizes 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256.

Primarily icons are being designed in vector format, and subsequently are being exported in png format with a palette of 24-bit RGB colors.Our decision to have the icons released with their eps source, was to help the designers scale the icons to whatever dimension had in their minds.

We progressively redesigned the whole set (ver 1.0), taking into serious consideration the clarity of smaller dimensions (16x16, 32x32). The vector paths are interpolating exactly to full pixels, in a clear and consistent way.

Joy

Interactivemania's first official game release is Joy. The first medium is any web browser capable of flash player 9.0.124 and is based on flex 3.4 and mochimedia ads api. Joy is a board puzzle turn based game and for the momment consists of 60 levels.

Default Icon

Default Icon is a repository of free icons in their simplest form. Can be used even on portable devices (iPhone, iPad, android compatible devices etc) with minimum capabilites as the resolution is 1-bit and fully customizable as there is an eps version present. Available for download in .eps, .png, .gif formats, in black and white colors, in sizes 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256.

Default Icon by interactivemania is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivative Works 3.0 .

This means in short terms, it allows you redistribution, commercial and non-commercial, as long as it is passed along unchanged and in whole, with credit to interactivemania. For further info or a more specific license don't hesitate to contact us at: info (at) defaulticon.com.
A License clarification: The license that accompany the icon set is CC Attribution-No-Derivatives. This means the following: You can use any part of the set for your UI Design, Web site design, mobile application design, desktop application design/UI,theme design, commercial or not, without any further clarification, with only obligation to attribute interactivemania, in the credits page. The No-Derivatives directive forbids you to build a new icon-set, upon DefaultIcon. It doesn't forbids you to build any of the afformentioned projects using the set.
