I’ve said this before, but it always shocks me to what extent it is true. Most new PTCs turn out to be scams.

Before i had left for vacation i joined 10 PTC sites, most were fairly new. Now a month later and 7 of them have dissappeared. Thats a very large percent!

This is the reason that PTCs dont get official ratings on this site until they are at least 3 months old.

TuiBux is a fairly new PTC site that looks like it could be a pretty good one. Its only been around for about 2 and a half months now so i can only give it “First Glance” status.

General Review

Nothing really remarkable about the site, it falls pretty well in line with the other newer generation sites.  Good amount per ad click, average number of ads, uses the referral renting system.  The also have jackpots for both cash and referral prizes, while not original it is fairly rare and in my opinion is a plus.

The major downside to TuiBux, in my opinion, is that it just changed owners.  This is often a bad thing, as the new owners might turn the site into a scam.  But only time will tell that, assuming TuiBux remains a paying site I expect big things for it in the future

Not Recommended:  For one reason or another I do not feel that people should join these sites.  Could be for a number of reasons, a couple being that I don’t think the site will be profitable for its members, or that a suspect the [...]]]> Two (and a half?) new possible statuses are being added for sites.

SCAM:  I don’t take accusing people of scamming lightly.  My definition of a scam is that they owe me money and i feel they have no intention of paying me.  Like I said I don’t take it lightly, if a site says they will pay in 10 days and its been 11 i won’t start screaming scam until I’m convinced I won’t be paid.

On Probation:  This is more of an add on to a sites status.  A site may be Recommended but On Probation for reasons such as being very late in paying members, or some drastic change to the site which I feel will negatively impact the members if left unchanged

If I had to suggest just one PTC site for people to join it would be NeoBux. Its been around for a fiarly long time and in my opinion is the most trustworthy site around.

Ease of Making Money: I’m not going to lie, a lot of people seem to have trouble making a profit with NeoBux. It took me awhile to get the hang of it too. The trick is developing a solid referral management strategy. This involves experimenting and learning from your mistakes. However it doesn’t take a genius, just some common sense.

Administration Communication: The administration at NeoBux does an excellent job communicating with their members. If something is going on with the site rest assured you’ll be notified about it. They also go above and beyond by regularly responding to members questions and comments on forums. They really are the best in this aspect.

General Review

NeoBux is my favorite PTC. They basically revolutionized the PTC industry with their referral renting system. If they weren’t the first to think of it they were the first to make it work. They are constantly coming out with new features and ways to improve the site. As I said it takes some common sense to make money here, but anyone can do it. If I had to make a criticism about the site it is that they seem to have a hard time holding onto new members, but their defense every once in awhile they come out with a new initiative to try to fix this problem.

Payout Note* The way their payouts work is the first is a minimum of 2$, the next is $4, then $6, ect, until you reach $10, after that the minimum payout doesn’t increase anymore

That being said there are two different measures we will be grading  PTC’s on. [...]]]> Our goal here is to be selective in what PTC sites we talk about / recommend.  I don’t want to waste my time and money or yours writing about every single new PTC site seeing as most turn out to be scams.

Possible Status

First Glance: I’ve joined the PTC myself, its been around for at least a month, it seems like it could be promising.  At this point in time i do not recommend putting any money into it.

Promising: Its been around for at least 3 months, I plan on investing some money into it at some point, I’ve heard good things from others.

Recommended: Its been around for more then 3 months, I have personally been paid from it, and if i haven’t already put money into I plan to in the future.

Pays Members: Out of 4
A measure of if a site actually pays its members.  As well as how long it takes to get your money.

Ease of Making Money: Out of 4
A measure of how easy it is to turn a decent profit with a PTC and the work needed to do so.  The fact that a site pays means nothing if its virtually impossible to make money on the site.

Administration Communication: Out of 2
A measure of how well the PTC’s administration communicates with its members.  While this in most cases does not directly impact profits at all, in a business like PTC’s where there is so many ups and down being kept in the loop about whats going on with the PTC is very important.

PTC: Paid to Click.  The name is somewhat self explanatory, you get paid to click ads.  More accurately you get paid to view ads.  On most sites you have to view the ad for 30 [...]]]> Before getting started with PTC’s one should at least know the basics, so we will start from the ground up here.

PTC: Paid to Click.  The name is somewhat self explanatory, you get paid to click ads.  More accurately you get paid to view ads.  On most sites you have to view the ad for 30 seconds, although I’ve seen anywhere between 10 and 90 seconds.

How much do I get paid?

The 2 most common values per ad are 0.5 cents per click and 1 cent, although I’ve seen from 0.1cents to 2 cents.  Personally I feel anything under 0.5 is not worth your time.

Referrals

Referrals are the most important part of making money on PTC’s. There are two types.
Direct Referrals: People who joined the PTC as a direct result of you, (for example a friend you told about it)
Bought/Rented Referrals: Getting direct referrals can be a pain, so pretty much every PTC has the option to buy and/or rent referrals.

What do Referrals do?

For every ad your referral views you get money, for this example lets say you get 1 cent per referral click.  You have 500 referrals, they each click 2 ads a day, there 500*2=$10 a day for you.  Its important to remember referrals are humans (Ill talk about bots in a different post…) so they wont necessarily click every day, you cant count on that $10 every day for sure.  Some days you will get more, some days less.

Buying Referrals vs Renting

Buying: Buying referrals means that they are your forever.  Back in the day this was how all PTC sites work, however its quickly being replaced by renting.  The typical cost to buy a referral is about $1
Pros of buying: 1 time investment
Cons of buying: If the referral quits the PTC right away your out more money

Renting: Renting a referral means that you only have them for a predetermined amount of time, usually 1 month.  This seems to be the way of the future.  The typical cost to rent a referral is about 30 cents a month.  Most sites that rent referrals give you the option to ‘recycle’ that referral’  This means that if you notice the referral is no longer clicking ads you can pay a fee, about 8 cents is typical, to replace that referral.
Pros of renting: Lower up front cost, if a newly obtained referral is not clicking they can be replaced.
Cons of renting: Continually have to pay for referrals on a monthly basis

As regular readers would know I’m a fan of PTC sites. And this is what the new InterBlagMoney will be about. Reviewing, rating, strategies, ect about PTCs.

There’s a number of fairly good sites out there already doing the same thing. However what i feel most are lacking is giving in depth and up to date information about individual sites. This is the niche i hope to fulfill. As a result i wont be covering hundreds of sites like others but concentrating on a relatively small number of ‘good’ sites.

Like i mentioned earlier i know a lot of my old readers aren’t interested in this topic, but i know some are, and maybe others will change there minds about PTCs, at any rate, welcome to the new InterBlagMoney, I hope you find it useful
