NOTHING MEANS EVERYTHING

Do you want to learn something new today? These four words are quite similar and it can be complicated to understand which one you need to use.

Something means a thing that is unknown. It is often used in positive sentences.

Anything means a thing of any kind. Use it in questions and negative sentences. It can also be used to to mean I don't mind.

Nothing means no single thing. Used as subjects of a sentence or question.

Everything means all the things. Use in affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences when we want to be inclusive.

Como arrumar seu boot no windows 7 após remover as partições com Linux

Depois de ter passado uma situação assim, vamos publicar a solução que é muito simples:

1. Acesse o prompt de commando do windows

2. Digite: X:\windows\system32\bootrec.exe /FixMbr
3. Reinicie
4. Prepare o churrasco que está pronto!

Em computação, GNU GRUB (ou apenas GRUB) é um multi-carregador de um sistema operacional (multi boot boot-loader) criado pelo projeto GNU.

É utilizado, normalmente, quando se deseja que um computador tenha dual booting, ou seja, que o usuário possa escolher ao iniciar a máquina, um sistema operacional (SO) dentre dois ou mais sistemas instalados.

Em termos técnicos ele é um programa que pode carregar qualquer arquivo (ficheiro) executável com um cabeçalho multi boot nos seus primeiros 8 kB. Este cabeçalho consiste uma sequência de bits com: 32 bits de um "número mágico", 32 bits de flags mais 32 bits de um outro número mágico seguidos pela imagem do arquivo executável. O GNU GRUB foi desenvolvido a partir de um pacote chamado GRand Unified Bootloader, de onde deriva o acrônimo GRUB.

O sistema operacional GNU utiliza o GRUB, assim como muitas distribuições GNU/Linux. Enquanto os "carregadores" tradicionais mantém uma tabela de blocos no disco rígido, o GRUB pode rastrear o sistema de arquivos.

Na sua versão do ano 2005 ele suportava os seguintes sistemas de arquivos:
ext2/ext3.
JFS da IBM.
Iso9660.
O sistema de arquivos do MINIX.
NTFS.
ReiserFS.
SGI's
XFS.
UFS/UFS2.

O GRUB também suporta a instalação em disquetes. Outros carregadores populares incluem LILO e SYSLINUX. Atualmente em desenvolvimento, o GRUB 2 substituiu o GRUB que passou a se chamar GRUB Legacy (ou, em português, GRUB legado).

O desenvolvimento do GRUB 2 pretende fundir os fontes com o projeto PUPA para criar a próxima geração do GNU GRUB. O GRUB suporta a adição de 14 cores em substituição ao fundo de tela negro.

Algumas distribuições que incluem o GRUB utilizam fundos de tela customizados. Os usuários também podem incluir as suas próprias customizações. [editar]O processo de carregamento do sistema operacional O BIOS busca um dispositivo que faça o carregamento do SO (normalmente um disco rígido) e move o controle para o MBR ou Master Boot Record. O MBR é situado nos 512 primeiros bytes do disco.

O MBR contém o estágio 1 do GRUB. Dado o pequeno tamanho deste estágio, ele apenas carrega o próximo estágio do GRUB (que pode residir em qualquer locação do disco). O estágio 1 pode carregar o estágio 1.5 ou o estágio 2 diretamente. O estágio 1.5 é localizado nos 30 primeiros Kb do disco imediatamente após o MBR. O estágio 1.5 carrega o estágio 2. O estágio 2 recebe o controle, e mostra ao usuário o menu com as opções de sistemas operacionais instalados no sistema.

O GRUB carrega na memória o núcleo do SO escolhido (ou o padrão) e passa o controle a este núcleo. (Para sistemas operacionais não suportados totalmente pelo GRUB, o controle é passado para outro carregador que continua o processo até carregar o núcleo em memória)

Gmail has several options for storing and categorizing your email, including a star system that allows you to mark important emails. You can search your email based on the different available categories, including which emails are starred and which are not. Once you have all the unstarred emails loaded on the screen, you can use a shortcut to delete all of them at once.

Instructions

Sign in to your Gmail account.

Type "-is:starred" in the search box near the top of the screen and click "Search Mail." The "is:starred" search operator displays all your starred emails. Placing a "-" in front of it reverses the search and displays all your unstarred emails.

Press the black, down-facing arrow next to the blank box, and select "All." The blank box is located to the left of the "Archive" button above your email listing. All the emails in the list are highlighted. Note that the message "All 20 conversations on this page are selected" appears above the first email in the list.

Setting up eclipse, subclipse and Visual SVN Server
If you are tired of the usual copy all, zip backup your application files then I suggest you try using SVN. But let me clarrify, SVN is
not a backup management tool. Instead it's a way of properly tagging each file, fix/update wherein you can put comment in each change.
This will help us track our changes and reverse to a stable code when our code failed. (There are many articles about SVN just try googling it).

This tutorial assumes that an eclipse IDE (regardless which: java, php, etc) is already installed in your computer (windows OS).
In case not you can try downloading eclipse-java here: http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/galileo/SR1/eclipse-java-galileo-SR1-win32.zip. It's a zip file and can be extracted in your root drive like c:.

After download update your eclipse installation by clickng Help->Install New Software->Add and in Location type: http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.6.x. Restart your eclipse.

You may ask why use svn when eclipse already have a built in cvs, well personally I find svn more user friendly.

Now that our client is setup we need an SVN Server that can be deployed on a windows environment. I found Visual SVN which you can download here: http://www.visualsvn.com/files/VisualSVN-Server-2.0.7.msi. Install and add user.

How to add user to Visual SVN:
1.) Run Visual SVN
2.) Right click users->Create user
3.) Enter a name and password and click ok

How to create a repository
1.) Run Visual SVN
2.) Right click Repositories->Create repository
3.) For this tutorial enter "test" in the Repository Name
4.) Check "Create default structure...". This will initialize to have branches, trunk and tags in the root directory.

Now that we have a test repository, let's try creating a project using eclipse:
1.) Open up the eclipse IDE
2.) Select File->New->Other, then select SVN->Checkout Projects from SVN

3.) In the "Checkout from SVN" window select "Create a new repository location" click next
4.) In the Url field enter the location of our newly created "test" repository,
in case you forgot - in the Visual SVN window under Repositories, right click "test" and select "Copy URL to Clipboard"
5.) Then in the select folder, usually we are developing in the trunk folder so select it

6.) In the "Checkout from SVN", select "Check out as project configured using the New Project Wizard"
7.) Select "Java Project" and enter a name
8.) The SVN based project created should now appear in the eclipse ide

Now our SVN client and server are setup.
How to add a file and commit:
1.) Under src directory create a new class, named Test.java
2.) Right click Test.java, then select Team->Add to Version Control
3.) Finally to commit select the file or you can select the whole project->Team->Commit

Existe um bug quando ordenamos numero com o uso da biblioteca javascript jQuery, o bug ocorre quando o primeiro item começa com "0". Os números são interpretados como texto e no final você terá uma sequência completamente errada parecida com a sequência abaixo 1, 10, 2, 3, 31 etc. A solução é simples, basta alterar a expressão regular isDigit no arquivo javascript tablesorter.js para a expressão abaixo:

There is a bug when sorting numbers when the first item in the table is a "0". The numbers are interpreted as text instead of digits and you will end up with a sequence like 1, 10, 2, 3, 31 etc. I found the solution in this jquery mailing list thread which uses a different regular expression in the isDigit function in the tablesorter.js plugin.

Olá Pessoal, tudo bom?

Estava aqui fazendo uns testes em html básico e descobri um novo bug que pode acontecer com o IE7 que nem com csshover.htc resolve, rsrs

O bug ocorre exatamente porque o ie7 segue em teoria o padrão W3C e exige um doctype para a página, então fica simples depois de ler o manual né, é só colocar o doctype na página, pode ser strict, transactional mas tem que ter o doctype antes de tudo.

Bug IE6 OL - Ordered List

Pra variar mais um novo bug do ie6, agora com lista ordenada, ele (IE6) simplesmente não aparece a lista, aparece 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1.

Novo Salário Minímo

Está valendo, a partir de domingo (1) de abril, o novo salário minímo, que teve um reajuste de 8,57%, com o aumento o salário mínimo passa de R$ 350,00 para R$ 380,00 se descontado a inflação que tivemos no ano de 3,17% (R$ 11,10), o salário subiu apenas 5,41% o que equivale a R$ 18,94 o que acrescentado ao valor de R$ 350,00 do atual salário temos um novo salário de R$ 368,94.

Conta "Salário", economize até R$ 400,00 no ano

A partir de hoje segunda-feira(2), começa a valer a Conta Salário para alguns trabalhadores, cujas contas de pagamento foram acertadas a partir de 06/09/2006, de acordo com o Banco Central a conta é isenta de tarifas o que gera uma economia em torno de R$ 400,00 por ano se comparado com a maioria dos pacotes que os bancos oferecem, para os trabalhadores da iniciativa privada esse benefícios só começa a valer a partir de 2009 e para os servidores públicos só depois de 2012, segundo o Banco Central, através do uso desta conta o cliente poderá efetuar até 5 saques em caixas eletrônicos, e até transferir o dinheiro para outra conta isentos de tarifas e CPFM.
