This is definitely a trick. If you observe closely at the video you can be sure there are a couple of fishing lines attached between the fans to pull off this trick.

This is definitely a huge LAN party, with a 10,000-strong crowd hosted by DreamHack in Sweden from 26-29 November 2009. It is the world’s largest LAN party and computer festival.

So what goes on during the event?

Members register for the annual party to join in for collaboration and fun with other computer enthusiasts in all sorts of activities ranging from games, software programming to music composition. Last year, the winter event clocked in a staggering 12,782 participants!

Flexio is a cool design concept for a solar-powered portable radio with printable speakers on one side and a flexible solar panel on the other. Tuned only to a specific station, each individual Flexio radio packages come from set that make up the different styles of music from the airwaves of different cities.

This definitely looks like a great retail idea for the airport especially for travelers who can simply grab a box and listen to the radio at a cafe immediately with the least amount of hassle. Provided there is sufficient sunlight, that is.

Awesome Gundam Stop Motion Video

Most of us are familiar with the Gundam series of anime and its huge series of merchandise, but this short-movie video clip by John Huang featuring these Gundam toy robots definitely takes it out of the norm.

The video effects and post production definitely adds an element of humor by aligning itself to the classic Asian fantasy story of a hero and his enemies locking swords and unleashing of a flurry of special attacks and counters.

Just to note that the entire video features a destructible environment. Just look at the carnage produced as a result of them not getting along, scorched and punctured foam pieces and a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV that got knocked over.

How to Make Cheap Liquid Nitrogen at Home

Liquid nitrogen isn’t always easily available to most but this video shows how a cheaper form called poor man’s liquid nitrogen can be produced with relatively accessible materials right in your own home.

This cold concoction makes use of dry ice, two plastic soft drink bottles and rubbing alcohol to obtain a liquid gel mixture that cools objects at 110 degrees Fahrenheit (-78 degrees Celsius), compared to real liquid nitrogen at -320F.

It does look like the poor man’s liquid nitrogen performs reasonably well too, for re-enacting classic science experiments such as shattering flowers and leaves demonstrated in the video.

Now this is definitely an MP3 player that fits in your wallet, the Strapya Music Card MP3 player is shaped like a common credit card in every aspect except that it comes with a 5mm width.

Packed into this Japanese-made credit-card size MP3 player is a 2.5mm earphone jack, meaning most of the common 3.5mm earphones can’t be used unless you use the adaptor included in the package.

Ever wondered how it will look like to play Super Mario in first-person 3D view? Here’s a video of a playable Half-Life fps game mod that models the first level of the classic Super Mario game.

Looks like the main differences are the limitations of the game engine where the mod was created from contains some differences compared to the original, which has Mario holding a crowbar and shooting at enemies instead of jumping on them. Even the power-up mushroom comes in the form of a suit, but hey this classic Super Mario game does look interesting when viewed from a different perspective.
