Julianne is a Footloose fan!

Her passions are singing and dancing, so it makes sense that Julianne Hough is thrilled to star in next year’s remake of the '80s classic Footloose. “I am a huge fan! Who’s not a huge fan of all those dance musical movies? They’re the best!” the Dancing With the Stars alum and country crooner gushed to In Touch about the famous film. Though she has yet to meet the original flick’s star, Kevin Bacon, Julianne did join up with Chace Crawford, who will play street-smart Ren opposite her role as headstrong Ariel. “We did the test together. It was really fun!” the blond beauty added. Until filming begins next spring, Julianne is keeping busy — she recently partnered with Venus Embrace to co-author an advice booklet for young girls, The Goddess Guide to Getting Closer.

Lindsay denies stealing tanning formula

Lindsay Lohan is adamant that she did not steal the formula for her tanning spray line, Sevin Nyne, which she says she spent three years creating with entrepreneur Lorit Simon before launching in April. The Labor Pains star is blasting Florida-based chemist Jennifer Sunday, who is suing her for breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, civil conspiracy, intentional interference with contractual relations, and deceptive and unfair trade practices, according to legal documents filed in Tampa. Sunday claims that she showed Simon her tanning mist samples in January. "No formula was stolen for Sevin Nyne," wrote Lindsay on her Twitter blog. "It's a woman looking for a payday. That's it!"
He may be best known for his role in a hit comedy series, but Eddie Mekka’s recent car crash and subsequent DUI is anything but funny. The actor, who played Carmine “The Big Ragoo” Ragusa on 1970s favorite Laverne &
Shirley, was arrested in the aftermath of an automobile accident on July 3
in Las Vegas. He was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Luckily, there were no injuries reported in the incident.

The Fourth of July at Tao Nightclub in Las Vegas was not only a huge A-list affair, but included Jamie Foxx grabbing the microphone to make sure the party was going strong. Jamie and Jay-Z came to Tao with Rihanna and 30 of their closest friends. The group dined on sea bass and chicken fried rice. While celebrating with 20 bottles of Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Brut, Jamie got on a microphone to make sure that everyone was having a good time and even performed for a bit. According to a source, “After a while, Jay-Z left and continued the party at Lavo.”

Michael’s dermatologist: “I am not the father of these children”
After rumors emerged that he may be the real dad of Michael Jackson’s children, the star’s dermatologist and close friend Dr. Arnold Klein has shot down the allegations. “To the best of my knowledge, I am not the father
of these children," the UCLA professor told Good Morning America.
Despite his denial, the doctor gushed about Prince Michael, 12, Paris
Katherine, 11, and Prince Michael II ("Blanket"), 7, like they were his own.
“These are brilliant children, and I want them in no way to be harmed,” he
added. Klein also insisted that he did not supply the late King of Pop, who
passed away on June 25, with dangerous drugs that may have led to his sudden
death. "I've never prescribed OxyContin in my life. How am I going to
prescribe Diprivan when I don't understand how to use it?" he asked.

The tell-all book that will shock Michael's fans
Michael Jackson may be gone, but the questions he left unanswered about his mysterious life have not been forgotten. In Touch has learned exclusive details about an explosive new tell-all book about Michael’s controversial behavior. The most sensational claim in Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson by Ian Halperin, due out this month, is that Michael was not a pedophile. “The book claims that Michael was innocent of the molestation charges and a victim of extortion,” an insider who has read the book tells In Touch. “This is what led to the heavy drug abuse and everything that followed.”

For more exclusive details about Michael Jackson, check out this week’s issue of In Touch, on newsstands now.

Michael’s daughter touched everyone's hearts

In an epically emotional speech that shined light on a rarely seen side of Michael Jackson’s life, the singer’s daughter, Paris, movingly spoke of her father at his memorial service in Los Angeles. As her aunt Janet gently encouraged her to “Speak up, sweetheart,” the 11-year-old choked back tears as she said, “I just wanted to say, ever since I was born daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine — and I just wanted to say, I love him so much.”

Michael Jackson remembered in star-studded tribute
Music, memories and tears took center stage at Michael Jackson’s memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. “He was a lover of life, he cared so deeply for his family, for his friends, and his fans,” an emotional Brooke Shields said of her childhood pal. Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, John Mayer and Usher gave performances in tribute to the legendary singer, and Michael’s brother Jermaine sang a heartrending rendition of Michael’s favorite song, Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile.” Speakers such as Al Sharpton and Queen Latifah testified to Michael’s cultural impact in advancing charitable causes and crossing racial barriers. Stevie Wonder, who moved the crowd with his song “I Never Dreamed You’d Leave in Summer,” summed it up best when he said, “This is a moment that I wish that I didn't live to see come. But as much as I can say that and mean it, I do know that God is good and I do know that as much as we may feel — and we do — that we need Michael here with us, God must have needed him far more."

They may have left the hard-partying life behind, but
young new parents Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz say they couldn’t be happier to have 7-month-old Bronx in their life. "The whole thing is a new adventure. Every day is a new milestone. He's always discovering new things," the Fall Out Boy bassist told In Touch at the AXE Instinct and Rolling Stone Magazine Present the Power of Leather event in New York. "It's the best thing ever," echoed Ashlee, who celebrated her first anniversary with Pete in May. Little Bronx is already proving himself to be a daddy's boy. "He says lots of dadas!" the soon-to-be Melrose Place actress added.

Garcelle's baby weight "melted right off!"

While many new celeb moms suffer through grueling workouts
to shed the pregnancy pounds, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon didn't lift a
finger to bounce back to her pre-baby body. "It melted right off!" the
actress told In Touch at a gala benefiting the children of Haiti at the Griffin in New York. "I was one of the lucky ones!" The svelte star, who has 20-month-old twin boys Jax and Jaid with hubby Michael Nilon, did have a few tips that may help other not-so-lucky moms. "I run around a lot after them now. And every time I’m eating something, they want every part of it. So I never finish a meal!" Garcelle confessed.

In Touch Exclusive:American Idol's Kara DioGuardi is married!

American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi wed teacher-turned-general contractor Mike McCuddy on July 5 at 12:30 in the afternoon in Prospect Harbor, Maine. The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter wore a Vera Wang gown for the small ceremony. The couple, who met when Mike, 34, built the house next to Kara's in Maine, got engaged in December. They exchanged vows at the United Methodist Church, across the street from her house, in front of about 30 guests. "I feel great. What was most unbelievable about the experience
was when I looked out at the church and saw all these people that were so important to me and Mike, who were there for us. It was pretty powerful. I was very emotional and I'm not somebody who breaks down and cries," Kara,
38, tells In Touch exclusively, adding that the weather even behaved. "It's been raining in Maine for 60 days. The only day that was nice was yesterday!"
