Joy is a feeling that fills the soul and causes your entire being to become uplifted and alive.  There is a beautiful piece written by Bob Perks titled, “I wish you enough.”  And when I reflect on this inspirational passage, I imagine the sun’s glorious rays touching my face; and for just one small moment, the world seems to stand still.  My one wish to you, however, is joy.  Could you visualize your life to be one filled with peace and happiness?  Yes - when we rediscover the joy within our hearts, it’s a transformational experience.  Suddenly we find healing, strength, and the wisdom to know the difference to what really matters in life.

Joy is like the eternal flame illuminating the torch of your life light.  It is never far away because it resides within our hearts.  Stop for just one second and close your eyes.  Take in a deep, long breath and feel the surge of life entering your body. Now slowly release the toxic and negative emotions by exhaling through your mouth.  Can you feel the release of anxiety and tension?  That’s joy.  It’s working in you, through you, and all around you.

Joy is truly what we make it. We can choose to live in fear, grief, and sorrow — or live in joy.   When we live in joy, we no longer hold onto old and destructive blockages from the past.  We begin to see the world with a renewed set of eyes.   We begin skipping over life’s little roadblocks, and no longer do we feel the need to dwell on negative situations.  Today, I wish you joy, because living in joy is what enables you to move forward in life, to learn acceptance, and to find peace and happiness in all things.

Believe me, I know how you feel and I am sure there are many others out there that can commiserate with you.  This is a worldwide problem and the only solution that I can offer you is this:  You are the problem and you are the solution!    Now don’t get angry with me.

One of the primary motives why people may want to lose weight is for health purposes.  Over eating of food is an addiction. It takes effort, willpower, and a 360-degree change in behavior and your mindset in order to be able to win the battle.  The main reason as to why some folks do not succeed in resolving this addiction is because it’s difficult to stop doing all the things they’re accustomed to doing.  They’ve become complacent with the normalcy of how they’ve trained themselves to think and live.

Whether we choose to drink too much, eat too much, or smoke cigarettes - it is a choice that we have made for ourselves.  The good news is that life offers us many choices.  While we may have made one choice, we can easily make another choice to undo the harm that we may have created for ourselves.

Are you prepared to re-train your thinking?  When you set your mind into transformation mode, you are ready to redesign your destiny and live the life you’ve always wanted to live.  Changing our behaviors takes commitment, dedication and a willingness to reshape our mindset into believing that we CAN accomplish what it is we want.

When the going gets tough, whom can you trust?

We’re not always able to trust external sources like the government, banking institutions, and other outside entities. We can, however always rely on our inner intuitive voice and wisdom, which can provide us with the guidance and light to lead us through sometimes murky waters in our lives. The best way to create a positive environment for success is to educate ourselves so we can be better equipped to make sound choices and create outcomes that serve us, our lives, our families, and our communities.

The first step to create the life you want to lead during these tough economic times is to develop a strategic plan for success based on gut feelings that come from your intuitive talents and by fine-tuning your problem solving abilities. There is a masterful artist within you wanting to escape today’s economic woes — you simply must wade through the clouded passage to gain clarity and awaken your inner consciousness. How do you do that? You begin with a healing meditation for your mind, body, and spirit.  Whatever it is you are facing at this time, you must masterfully use your intuition and inner healing powers to transform your current lifestyle.

A good example is if you are between jobs and can’t seem to find the appropriate direction to overcome your job loss — you need to make not one, but several mental prosperity notes to yourself on building self esteem and improving levels of self-confidence.  You start this intuitive process by saying a mantra aloud, such as: “I am at one with myself and am in tune with the Universal flow of energy. Whatever I encounter today will be filled with opportunity and blessed by a higher source. I am an extraordinary manifesting person and with faith in myself, I can do anything and be anything I want to be.” Just because things aren’t going the way you want them to go at this moment, it doesn’t mean that you cannot succeed.  You have to keep your eye on the ball and maintain a deliberate and disciplined focus on the goals you want to achieve.  Never give into that part of you that thinks it can’t be done. That is your ego mind speaking, not your authentic self.

Where are you at in your life’s journey?

If you’ve come to a plateau and can’t seem to circumvent or overcome life’s challenges to reach your ultimate destination, you really need to make time to reflect on your life to figure out where you want to be today, tomorrow, and in the future.  You create solutions by relaxing into the quiet space of creation, the depths of your subconscious where you receive the precious messages from the divinity within you.  From this space, you can manifest any situation you desire. It is through your consistent commitment to your enlightened path that you will find your rewards.

Yes, you can. Have you ever heard the old adage, “If you build it, they will come”?  It’s true.  But in this case, you will be building a foundation for yourself – a foundation that will give you the edge to succeed. Reinforce your quiet time with positive thinking.  Remember your thought power can either open your mind to receive endless possibilities and resources or it can block your flow. As you continually think of the right solution to your problems and the benefits you will gain from them, day and night, you will discover the right resolution for you.    This process also requires having a healthy belief system. Believe in yourself and your power—it is important.

If the stock market’s not faired well in your life, you can always count on your intuition and your inner power to get your through these difficult times – it will never let you down.  “But it was my intuition that got me in trouble in the first place,” you say? No, that wasn’t your intuition at work.  Believe me, if you were listening to your intuition correctly, you may have avoided a lot of the life lessons you are enduring at the moment.  Nevertheless, now is the perfect time to put your intuition to work for you. How so? Earlier in this article, I mentioned that in order for you to overcome life’s struggles, you have to keep your eye on the ball and focus on the positive flow of Universal energy.  It’s a no-brainer. When you think and honestly believe you can, you will.  Period.  You have to believe in yourself and understand that life happens.  It’s a fact that no matter what you do in life, you will sometimes run into roadblocks that may delay your arrival at your final destination; but roadblocks do not stop you from moving forward.  You simply have to re-route your life map and intuitively get moving in the right direction.

A Philosophical and Scientific Perspective

When you’re GENUINELY ready to create the life you want to lead, you will be astonished at the many things you are capable of doing.  You don’t have to crawl back into bed and hope yesterday never happened – in fact, be thankful for it.  More people have been able to discover a greater sense of purpose by abandoning a certain part of their lives.  Your mind has been crafted and molded by a higher power since the beginning of time — the more you focus on positive thoughts and positive outcomes, the greater likelihood you’ll overcome today’s economic challenges to create an extraordinary life for yourself. More importantly, when the going gets tough, you have to learn how to trust and empower yourself to make wise choices in your life on your own behalf.  No, there’s no funny wizard of Oz at the end of the yellow brick road, but you can strategically map your life path with your own foundation of trust, belief in your talents and a mastery of your intuition to guide you to a path of prosperity and happiness.

Dear Veronica:

Whether we believe it or not, we grow stronger through adversity.  Instead of beating ourselves up over perceived difficulties, we need to find resolve and learn to use “adversity” to our own advantage.  More often than not, we encounter hurdles to reflect on what it is we are doing in life, where we’re going, and what we need to be doing.  Sometimes, we keep running into the same encounters because we have not yet comprehended the message we were supposed to learn the first time.  That’s not necessarily negative; though we may perceive it to be.

It is important to note, too, that while we may face adversity on many levels and at different stages in our lives, we should never be partner to creating our own drama.  We must rise above the adversity that comes into our lives, and take a responsible view of what that event or person(s) is trying to convey to us.

In most cases, adversity shows up to challenge our spirituality, our mentality, and sometimes our physical being.  We find strength and intuitive knowledge in our inner consciousness to sort reality from drama.  When we do, the real truth  that surfaces is a sage-like wisdom to overcome all obstacles.  The key, however, is being able to discern whether or not we want to learn from the experience or not.

When we choose to learn from adversity, we are one step closer to becoming enlightened and one rung higher on the ladder of the strong character you’d like to portray and be.

Your degree at the School of Hard Knox should be proudly displayed. The education and experience you receive in life is all part of the grand adventure of becoming part of the positive flow of Universal energy.  You are what you create, and adversity is simply part of the equation to fulfilling personal and spiritual growth on all levels.

Do not give in to the lower vibrations, instead honor your courage and strength.  You will achieve greatness by overcoming the adversities of life through your sheer willpower and determination to succeed.

Throughout the ages, different cultures and religions have expressed their belief and meaning as to the appearance of a rainbow.  In each one there seems to be a common thread that it represents good and possibly blessings and magic from the Universe.

When I see a rainbow it causes me to stop and reflect on life and my journey at that particular time.  It can mean you are on the right path. I look at rainbows as a promising sign, a symbolism for my hopes and dreams.  It has been said that good luck comes to those who dream rainbow dreams.

I feel that your granddaughter is also able to see auras that are around all of us.  She is probably intuitive as all children are.  Encourage her to use her imagination and see what she creates from the rainbows.

I suggest that this young girl reflect on her own thoughts and draw a conclusion that fills her heart. She will know if it fits for her or not.  It could mean that this is the time for her to follow her dreams and feel the power of creation supporting her all the way.

If today, you are experiencing great deep rooted emotional pain, more than likely it is because your choices and decisions are based on false beliefs that are engrained in your subconscious mind. It all begins with your belief system. I encourage you not to buy into the beliefs of others and make a conscious effort to form truthful, honest and principled choices based on how it feels in your heart. Only then will you be filled with great inner peace and happiness.

Nobody wants to strike out when it’s their turn to bat.  That’s why you must challenge yourself to strive to do better, achieve more, and transform your lifestyle. When you review your game plan, you should use your essential tools for living to get a firm grip on your metaphorical batting range. In addition, you have to take an extensive look at how far you are willing to run in order to achieve your heart’s desires.

There are a few key areas in your life on which you have to focus in order to prepare yourself to hit your homerun to success. Following is a powerful guideline to recreate your lifestyle and fulfill your life’s dreams:

Re-define Your Strengths

Many times, we beat ourselves up to the point that we forget the inner strength we possess, and what vital life tools we have at our disposal. You have to retreat within and redefine your frame of mind so you can really get to the root basis of what’s causing you to strike out when you’re on home plate.

You know that you can achieve your goals and you are anxious to savor the victory that awaits you. The drawback is that every time you’re up to bat, the umpire ousts you because you haven’t been quite able to hit the pitch out of the ballpark. But let’s level the playing field – you already possess the physical stamina to meet life demands; so you know that you are essentially equipped to get where you need to be going.  What you must do now is realign your mind, body, and spirit so these vital senses can work together to create an extraordinary lifestyle for yourself.

Some of the inner strengths that individuals have include inner wisdom (or intuition), a blueprint for living, and the mental ability to transform life. The external forces that safeguard our lives are the Universal flow of energy and our God source. Talking in baseball terms in relation to life, the umpire calls the shots with regard to which plays are actually scored.  Whether it’s a foul ball, an out, or a homerun, the umpire is the source that lets you know where you stand in the game of life. Let’s suppose that the umpire is the Universal flow of energy. When you’re at a point in your life where you’ve been jolted by your own blunders, it’s because the metaphorical umpire is calling you on them.

As mentioned earlier, when you balance your mind, body, and spirit, and begin working with the Universal flow of energy, you are steps closer to realizing your life dreams.

Go ahead and reward yourself by taking the initiative to get a unique perspective on how to reach your goals.  Sometimes, we have to take a step back and view life through a fresh pair of eyes and at a new angle. Next, let’s review your blueprint for living.  Within the soul being of each one of us, exists an in-depth map to fulfilling life purpose. When you look beyond your physical capabilities, trends, and hurdles; you need to ask your higher self what steps are necessary to achieve success.  A growing number of people use meditation, which is a powerful mind tool toward channeling inner wisdom for greater purpose. At this point, you have to make a strategic plan to counterbalance any negative aspects.  Think, plan, and keep your eye on the ball.  Whatever you do, always focus on your goals. When you decide that you are in control of your life and you are ready to manifest success, not only will you score one for the team, but victory will follow you wherever you go.
