I just got a job as a high school chemistry teacher. I know teenagers well enough to know that it is not going to be easy. I can imagine that they will goof off a lot, and not listen. And I’m worried about what they will do during the experiments. I’ve heard stories of kids mixing chemicals together when they were specifically told not to. Although I don’t think we have anything strong enough to explode, I do think some mixtures may cause hazardous fumes. Or, if nothing else, they might stink really bad. So I am going to ask my school to buy fume hoods. I hope it is within their budget, because I can not watch the kids every second. Buying this equipment may save them from damaging their health.

Last week when I was shaving my armpits, I felt something there that was attached. After I got out of the shower I went and looked in the mirror, and I saw that it was a skin tag. It was larger than the kind I usually get, so I went in and saw my dermatologist about a skin tag removal. He was able to do it right in the exam room, and the procedure itself was very simple. He told me that they are caused in areas of friction, and that they were completely harmless. I feel better now that it is gone, and I no longer have to shave cautiously!
