Sedan starten 2003 har INVA resulterat i 116 nyetableringar och hela 1619 nya arbetstillfällen i länet.

INVA:s huvuduppgift har varit att arbeta för fler jobb och flera nya etableringar till länet.
- Arbetet har varit långsiktigt och siffrorna visar att vi verkligen skördat resultat, säger Ulf Ljungdahl, VD Handelskammaren Värmland.

Av sammanlagt 116 nyetableringar är 69 holländska företag och 26 norska företag. Andra frekvent förekommande länder är Tyskland och Österrike.

Entrepreneur from Germany moves to Svanskog

In summer 2010 Bernd Fahje will start up his company in Svanskog, in the West of Värmland.
He will focus on an online shop for workwear and safety shoes, but even custom made technical equipments as for example trailers for ATV (all terrain vehicles) or fork lift equipments for the German market. Bernd will even keep running the existing company in Germany.

Svanskog is the perfect location for Bernd Fahje and his company, as it is close to both E18 and E45 and the premises give him the possibility to grow.

“We appreciate all the help we got from Invest in Värmland agency. They helped us to gather information and to find the right premises, they were focusing on our needs” says Bernd Fahje about the establishment process in Sweden.

Bernd brings his wife and two daughters with him. They already feel home in Svanskog after a few weeks living there.

Passion for bicycles - Dutchman Robin de Groot starts a company in Värmland

With many years of experience in the bicycle branch, he was owner of a bicycle shop as well as he participated in cycling competitions, Robin decided to start up a shop in Kärrbäckstrand. Cave-mex will open in July 2010.

- “It will even be possible to order high quality bikes online, or to take part in a ´how to build your own bike´ – course” says Robin de Groot about his business ideas beside selling bicycles in the shop. Until then he will renovate and adapt the building he and his wife bought some months ago.

För femton år sedan grundades Myndigheten för utländska investeringar i Sverige, som på uppdrag av Utrikesdepartementet arbetar för att marknadsföra Sverige och svenska affärsmöjligheter gentemot utländska investerare. Verksamheten har hittills kommunicerats som Invest in Sweden Agency, ISA, men så väl den förkortningen som namnet är nu historia.
