I browse the internet every single day, sometimes all day, looking for new and different, hip and stylish products to add to our site. What I also look at all of the time are sites to advertise those cool products on. Well, I have to share with you one of my very favorites, because it is just that fabulous of a find! The writer of this blogspot is amazing. She has an eye for finding the coolest stuff so unique and different that you always want to go back for more! I am addicted to Heather's "fabulous finds!" She posts product reviews and giveaways, and trust me, if Heather finds it, you will want it! I haven't seen a product up there yet that didn't "wow" me! All birthdays are special, but some more than others. A first birthday, a Sweet Sixteen, a 21st, or a 30,40, or 50th birthday (you get the idea!), warrants their own category of invitations, don't you think? Our site is for sure a work in progress. We have endless ideas and products to add, and will always and forever be looking to liven and freshen things up. But we do have to take things one step, or category, at a time. It really is quite hard to make a decision on what the best use of our time, energy, and money is, and we have to choose categories that we believe will be more popular with our viewers than others. It's harder than you think! People celebrate different events in their lives at different times. But the thing is, there will always be milestones in peoples' lives. It's inevitable! Maybe that's why next on our list is to liven and freshen up our category of "Milestones". What fun to pick and choose invitations for events so special to people. Everyone deserves to celebrate in style when their special day does arrive, so take a look and see what we've started with. Remember to check back often, because like I said before, a work in progress it is! Milestones are just a number- and whether it's 1 or 50-we believe it deserves a category all of it's own!

I went into Target the other day and literally stopped in the middle of the first aisle I got to and had to ask myself why I was even there! Well, always in Target is there something I want or need, but what was it on my list that got me there in the first place? I could see in my head that piece of scrap paper that I jotted a few things on the night before, but where the heck did it go? .. Either it was still on the kitchen sink, buried somewhere in the huge bag that I was carrying but didn't feel like going through, or most likely one of my boys took it and made a paper airplane out of it! Nonetheless, I found myself thinking that I must get more organized so that I am not spinning wheels with the little time I do have to myself!

The thing is that having this site, we witness many notepad orders coming through. In fact, we've made it one of our more plentiful categories because so many customers order them. I guess it hit me when I went to Target last week and saw the huge Back to School section set up with moms and kids filling their carts with items they were checking off their school supplies lists. I myself went in there for a Slip n Slide and came out with folders, composition books, glue sticks and 27 boxes of 27 cent crayons! Yup... back to school is just around the corner! I've always found myself excited and full of energy this time of year. I always think I'd love summer to last forever, but by the time it's Back to School, I- and my kids- always seem to be ready! I love finding out which kids are in which class, which teachers my kids will have, the fresh new books and backpacks, and always my favorite time of year to shop new clothes for my kids. You always need a cool, hip and brand new outfit for them to wear the first day, right? There's just something about Back to School, and after the first hmmm.... week I'd say, it begins to fade and we're back in full swing... the craziness of the summer starts to come to an end... it really hits and the hot, sweaty pool days and hanging outside till 8pm without a care in the world turn into having to get to the bus on time, homework, fall baseball practice for my son, juggled with after school arts and crafts class for my daughter. And so it begins! It's so different, but it's all good!:-)

I love talking to customers. Email is great, but I still love talking to customers! The other day the nicest girl called to ask me if we could customize an invitation for her Bridal Shower that the sample on our site showed for a First Birthday. Of course! We can do almost anything, but my first thought was, "Will those two themes be interchangeable?" Then she explained to me how perfect this particular invitation was for her "cupcake themed" shower. What a great idea! You always think cupcakes and kids, right? Well, why not cupcakes and brides? I think the two fit together beautifully!
