The worlds best voice recognizing system and smart sense integrated voice command responder ”Siri” now takes turn to Mercedes. This sounds strange but this is really good if one thinks about it. You always wondered having a James Bond car working in action responding as what ever you ask from it, well the integration of siri with Mercedes is a little level of your car action. Since it would help the drivers to write the messages or call while driving. Even if you want to make some tweet or put a Facebook status its a wonderful idea to use the siri. The integration of the siri with the Mercedes is right now stated to the Class A but it is expected that the later classes will get this update of siri eventually. Now its cool and good for you that you can change your radio, music, navigate through maps, ask siri to close the radio or who knows they might give some extra cool functions like turn on/off head lights or vipers or even locking your doors. One should think that it is really a very positive use of siri as this would avoid you from listening calls or sending text messages while driving as you could easily be accessible to these all things now by just one voice command. It surely is one step closer to the future cars.

Sounds Strange? lets talk about going greener, so now a days we will be finding American much ahead in studying going green for cars, but in Philippines we got a changed definition of it. As a company from Cebu built a car from coconut. This was a real challenge for the developers but it turned out to be a lovely thing on creation..

The catchy point was that the company preferred and used the local material as it could save cost and boost economy by using the natural available resources. Sea shells, and coconut flower stalks, rattan stripes these all things were used to build this beautiful car. The car was properly designed and modeled after a 1959 Porsche 356. It took nine months to complete the car. Clayton Tugonon, a well known and award winning furniture designer built the car body along with the efforts of Cebu. It was also one of the aims of Clayton that he wanted to demonstrate the locals that they can have a good advantage of the local available material inspite of importing other materials and paying their cost. Right now the car is put on display at the Northwing SM City shopping mall in Cebu.

Volvo always being one step ahead safety planning to introduce some new cars in 2013 with the pedestrians safety marked important. Thinking out of the box Volvo is keen to make air-bags even for the pedestrians as well. Now this looks promising, all what happens is that whenever there is any person at alarmingly front of the car the sensors which are adjusted in the front grill sends message to the driver and a beep starts in the car to alert driver to apply brakes. If still the driver is unable to stop the car, the car will automatically apply the brakes and what if it all happens at a very sudden that there is no chance for the driver nor the car. Still at this condition right after the impact of anything on the bumper or hood, the car will deploys air-bags from the front screen (deploying of air bags is from the space between the bonnet and the wind screen) covering one third of the impact. So this kind of technology can be a good news in accordance of safety for both drivers and pedestrians in the futures. According to the company Volvo V40 would be the first car to have such technology.

SSC Ultimate Aero: 257 mph

No one needs the definition for the Ultimate champion of the three consecutive years, if you remember it’s the same SSC Ultimate which held the record to be the world’s fastest car from 2007 to 2010 and that is even verified by no less than Guinness, it is perhaps one of the boldest automotive creations ever made. Its rebirth of SSC Ultimate Aero which is fundamentally a customized edition of the Aero, displacement of this same Chevrolet engine was augmented to 6.3 liters and supercharger boost was enhanced to 14 psi.

The consequences were simply incredible; almost 1200 horsepower and more than 1100 Newton meters of torque. Subsequent modifications such as twin-turbo and a new engine block, has allowed the output of the Ultimate Aero to increase even further. In 2009, the output was rated at 1287 horsepower, easily the world’s most powerful car engine.

Koenigsegg Agera R: 260 mph

The Swedish “Hyper-Car” manufacturer is muscling its way toward Bugatti Veyron territory with its new Agera R, an even stronger edition of the pre-production Agera trial product that it displayed at last year’s 2010 Geneva Auto Show. Not much known about this latest version of Agera R but Koenigsegg claims the Agera R has a “theoretical top speed” of around 273 mph, although it is electronically limited to 233 mph. The company adds that the speed governor “can be unlocked for shorter periods of time, if all necessary conditions are met, such as road condition, tire wear, service level of car” and so on. However for our top ten lists we’ll limit the top speed as per previous models of Koenigsegg Agera i.e. 260 mph. Once the practical demonstration is completed with the claimed theoretical speed we shall be upgrading the list bringing the number one contender down to a 2^nd rank. But for now Koenigsegg Agera R is on number 2 in our top ten lists.

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport: 267 mph

On number 1 it’s the ultimate Veyron holding the place with a remarkable top speed record of 267 mph. The Bugatti Veyron SuperSport has set a new production car land speed record, hitting 267mph at VW’s Ehra-Lessien proving ground. 267mph. Well, 267.91mph to be precise, trouncing the 256.23mph set by the SSC Ultimate Aero in Nevada in 2007.

Zenvo ST1: 233 mph

From the Danish manufacturers Zenvo has a built new super machine which will be competing with the top ranking super machines from Ferrari, Lamborghini and BMW named ST1. A brand new supercar from a brand new manufacturer that will join the ranks of the automotive world’s elite should it make its production date of early next year.

In the core of Zenvo ST1′s is mystifying 7.0 liter V8 that is believed to be founded on a GM crate motor. The big-displacement V8 is both turbocharged and supercharged, giving the ST1 a power output of 1,104 bhp and 1,055 ft-lb. of torque.

McLaren F1: 240 mph

The McLaren F1 is capable of 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and a top speed in excess of 240 mph. This makes it the fastest production car in the world. During development work, McLaren driver Jonathan Palmer drove F1 prototype XP3 around Italy’s 7.5 mile Nardo test track at 231 mph. But for the tight nature of the track, the car could have gone even faster. Early in 1998 this record was broken at Volkswagen’s test track with a recorded speed of 241 mph.

Koenigsegg CCX: 245 mph

At number 5 Koenigsegg CCX gained its place by beating the rest five by having a record speed of 245 mph. From the Swedish manufacturers the Koenigsegg CCX is a mid-engined roadster, engineered to meet the terms with US parameters and market specifications. The CCX can speed up from stationary to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 100 miles per hour in 7.7 seconds. It can finish a standing quarter mile in 9.9 seconds with an end speed of 146 miles per hour. The supercar reaches a top speed of 245 mph. The CCX was first disclosed on February 28, 2006 at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. CCX is a short form for Competition Coupe X.

Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo: 248 mph

The Saleen S7 Twin Turbo is an elevated performance 2-door 2-passenger American supercar that was intended to contend with the fastest, agile and most influential supercars in continuation. Saleen’s S7 is America’s initial and up to date the only foreign supercar with mid-engine design. During the initial period of S7 in the year 2002, it went on sale and was the only street-legal car in the United States that has more than 500 horse power output and 500 lb-ft of torque. S7 Twin-Turbo is the successor of the already legendary supercar S7.

The S7 Twin Turbo’s 3.3-second 0 to 60 mph time is one and the same to the previous S7 we tested, but it stomps it in the quarter mile, acquiring 1.2 sec. on its usually aspirated ancestor with a run of 10.6 sec. at 139.8 mph.

Ferrari Enzo: 217 mph

Ascari, the producer that makes the KZ1, has prepared another bomb on wheels. Powered by a 600 bhp V8 engine, the A10 is expected to do much more than that 220 mph. The Top Gear magazine called it a ‘staggering car.

The Ascari A10 price is analogous to many other super cars in its class, at around $650,000 US dollars it’s not the most luxurious car in the world but it’s not cheap either. It is a delightfully modeled car with a body that looks much similar to a tricked-out Corvette or Ferrari. Then engine has been adopted from the BMW, a 5.0 litre V8. It has a carbon-fiber chassis similar to the KZ1and the Ascari A10 specifications can take any super car for a ride on the open road, with Koenigsegg speed, but a hundred times more handling.

Gumpert Apollo: 225 mph

If you are looking for a German engineered super sports car that has a V8 engine and a 6-speed manual, sequential transmission as well as the looks of a car fit for a super hero or a billionaire tycoon, then the Gumpert Apollo is the car built for you.

“It has always been a dream of mine to have a car that has so much downforce, such aerodynamic efficiency that you could drive on the roof of a tunnel at high speed – and this car can.” These were the expressions of Roland Gumpert when he was new of leaving his job as the director of Audi Sport.

Lamborghini has always been vigilant of what they have been producing and its a fact that when we talk about cars,we term Lamborghini as an extra ordinary elite brand of cars. 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Superbike: 300kph

With the unveiling of the new 2012 1199 Panigale, the Ducati stable has fired up the competition in the superbike segment and challenging the undisputed reign of the BMW S1000RR. At Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Italy the automobile giant revealed a set of numbers that was awe-inspiring and jaw dropping. It claimed that the 1199 Panigale has the ability to peak at 195 hp at 10,750 rpm and 98.1 lb-ft torque at 9000 rpm which overpowers the current champion in the form of BMW S1000RR which has peaked at an amazing 183.37 hp at 13,100 rpm, the most powerful so far.

BMW S1000RR: 305kph

BMW produced BMW S1000RR Sport Bike. It was manufactured for World Championship in 2009 now it is also manufactured for Commercial usage. Its power is 1000 cc with inline 4 engine at rpm of 14,200. BMW produced about 1000 BMW s1000rr for meeting the conditions of World Super Bike. BMW S1000RR has anti lock braking structure with electron evolution control. It weight is about 208kg.

MV Agusta F4 Tamburini: 307kph

The F3 superbike is the latest addition to MV Agusta line-up. It has been tested on the long road stretches in Utah, in the Bonneville Salt Flats, where the unit goes to over 312kph and on some rare occasions, it goes to 314kph.

Suzuki Hayabusa: 320kph

The pedestal worth of the 2012 Suzuki Hayabusa Sport Bike motorbike is $13,999, which is $761.80 classier than the standard for all Sport Bike Motorcycles. Suzuki GSX- R1000: 285kph

For those that can’t handle the all-world capabilities of the Suzuki Hayabusa, you can always find comfort in a bike like the Suzuki GSX-R1000. It’s not as powerful as the enormous Hayabusa, but it comes pretty darn close. The 2012 GSX-R1000 was built with an eye towards designing a super bike that can make the competition wince. With the kind of history Suzuki has with these machines, it wasn’t all that surprising that they’ve built a bike its customers will be very proud of. It strengthens a speed of 285kph.

The purely sleek designed Agera picked up by updater squads of Koenigsegg is now finally ready to hit the roads. You might not believe your eyes what Agera has turned out to be, it will feature new sports Aircore disks made from carbon fibre. Moreover a new control unit along with the IES and 5-liter V8 twin turbo producing 973 hp maximum power (98 gasoline) will surely pack a lot of punch in the car. Additionally, Intervention level limiter has been upgraded to 7500 rpm from 7250 rpm. Overall the look and the design also appeals alot. We have entered the era where the cars will be having wings as well. So now you can lift your wheels up in air when ever you want to. Terrafugia was a recent talk in town, as the developer struggled quite hard to make that flying car legal on ground and air as well. But we spotted a Dutchmen flying car a few days ago as well. PAL-V is the name of the company and the same name was given to its flying machine. Now whats good and different about this flying automotive is that, its not an ordinary car but its a sports car! Since it hits a speed of 112mph on air and ground as well, with a sub 8 second 0-60mph time. The company has been very successful in attaining the permits and licences of it in different countries. For residents of Europe, they will just have to show a recreational or private plane licence to fly it and for riding this car on road all they will have to possess is their old legal licence. Talking about the functionality of PAL-V, while on road it looks like a motorcycle and when you are ready for it to take off, you just take it on a small runway and stretch of the M1, on doing this the propellers and the rotor come out and there you are ready to take it off.

Company is looking forward for the investors so that they can launch this reality for public till 2014. We are waiting to fly this road buster!

A fully fuctional Akira Motorcycle is now a reality as a person from Japan spent 10 million yen which are approx $121,000 to make this fully fuctional Akira bike. He spent 7 years in building this bike and yes now he is trolling his Akira at a road race on the land of rising sun. And to top it all, he is doing this to raise the money for charity. Masashi Teshima, the anticipated builder of Akira Bike told that now its just one step away from Otomo’s official stamp of approval. The cross country rider is raising money for autism research and it will end in Tokyo. And after that it will be displayed in an “Art of Katsuhiro Otomo” Take a look at the gallery below.
