New DVR Express CORE™ Now Available !

IO Industries has launched a new platform of DVR system known as the "Peripheral DVR". The DVR Express Core™ is the flagship product of the new platform. It is available with camera interfaces for ; Camera Link, GigE Vision, 3G-SDI, NTSC/PAL, and S-Video cameras.

Internal storage comprised of up to (4) 2.5" SSDs in the quad-pack makes the DVR Express Core the smallest direct-to-disk DVR package ever!

NASA MLAS with DVR Blades Launch Successful!

On Wednesday July 8th, NASA launched the test Max Launch Abort System. The rocket was equiped with (3) DVR Express Blade DVR units recording from (8) Camera Link cameras for the duration of the launch and splash-down. The recording media was to a waterproof solid state disk chassis, which was recovered from the Ocean. The picture to the right is a still image of video that was recorded by the DVR Express Blade.

Record GigE Direct to Disk using DVR Express

It is now possible to record GigE cameras directly to disk, using the DVR Express CLSAS. The IO Industries method of recording from GigE camera sources is no longer reliant on the system's CPU. With the record path aside from the PCI, PCIe and PCI-X buses DVR Express devices can guarantee that zero frames are dropped. This guarantee remains true for the recording of any number of GigE cameras in a system. For example; a system with (5) CLSAS cards could record up to (20) top speed GigE cameras.

The DVR Express CLX - Now Shipping

The first orders for the DVR Express CLX have now been filled. Included in this first wave of systems is an Eight-Camera high speed camera system. This systems uses (2) DVR Express CLX boards, with (2) CL Adaptor boards to sustain recording from (8) Camera Link Base cameras. These cameras acquire at 640 x 480 @ 120fps.
