Top Gun 2 is a pretty simple shooter.  Control the plane, shoot down enemies with an assortment of on-board weapons and do your best to not get hit.  We’ve always had a soft spot for airborne shooters here at iPhone Journal and this one doesn’t disappoint.

Top Gun is back with more missions and more excitement! In this fast-paced air combat jet shooter, you must continue to make the world safe from encroaching Communist aggressors. The USS Enterprise has entered enemy waters to rid the area of hostiles, and it is up to you to contain the threat as you embark on a series of intense missions including…

I’m not really sure how I can do this app justice but I’ll tell you that you get to pick from several  different characters and each one has a list of sayings that will surely brighten up the day of whomever you’re “talking” to.  Check out the video for the full details and download the app here.
