IPL 2013- The Indian Premier League 2013 season, abbreviated as IPL 6 or IPL 2013, will be the sixth season of the Indian Premier League, established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tournament will begin on April 3, 2013 and end on May 26, 2013.

IPL 2013 Teams - Initially, 10 teams were expected to play in the IPL 2013 season after Deccan Chargers became the 2nd team to be terminated from IPL by BCCI but it was later replaced by a new IPL team,though again based on Hyderabad. So, the number of teams are expected to be the same as the last year, i.e. 9.

The current 9 teams which are confirmed are as follows:

Chennai Super Kings
Delhi Daredevils
Hyd.Team*
Kings XI Punjab
Kolkata Knight Riders
Mumbai Indians
Pune Warriors India
Rajasthan Royals
Royal Challengers Bangalore

Note: Hyderabad franchise is based on Hyderabad but is certainly not Deccan Chargers
