I’ve been hard at work in the studio messing around with some new gear. I picked up the AKAI APC40 and been cutting up tons of samples, loops, beats, accapellas, etc. For those of you around the clubs in the 90’s, this little sample should take you back. Time for some salsa house muzik!  this is a little something i’d do on the fly when spinning house choons… and now you can enjoy it too!  get ready for the congo bongo bizness.

I’m sure you’ve seen the Lincoln car commercials by now and hear that awesome cover of The Church’s 1988 classic “Under the Milky Way” hitting the rounds on the boob tube… well it’s Sia!!!  Dallas’ very own drum & bass convict Crystal Pistol, who’s legendary sets with Fabio & Grooverider, Dara, & AK1200, has joined the dubstep band wagon and really dubbed it out.   If the Crystal Pistol can remain out of jail, we’ll hopefully be hearing a lot more from the tiny monster!
