<itunes:summary>Sleep disorders affect millions of people. Associated problems can range from feeling tired during the day to life threatening cardiovascular damage.  If you have had difficulty with sleep maybe it is  something other than a medical condition. Maybe it is those pesky aliens that keep abducting people in the night.  Are aliens abducting people or could it be sleep paralysis? You'll have to listen in to find out.   The iRescueradio guys are up to their usual antics with Dan's fainting,  Roy's research,  and Jody's dreaming.

We've included a bonus feature this week, a "behind the scenes" blooper.  Jody learned a valuable lesson about reviewing research before trying to use it.

<itunes:summary>In this weeks episode get ready for a good time as we serve up wolves, pancakes, syrup, and H1N1. Dan has some interesting opinions on living with wolves, Roy says he can live off pancakes, and Jody gives a play by play of the action. The iRescue guys defend ProCPR and ProFirstAid and why the training is offered for free. And all of that with a healthy dose of some medical news mixed in.

Is all the hype about swine flu (h1n1) really necessary? Listen in to hear what the irescue radio guys have to say.

<itunes:summary>This week’s episode of iRescueRadio covers the Five Fears of starting CPR: Fear of disease, lawsuits, uncertainty, hurting a person, and safety. Nationally only 26% of the time will bystanders start CPR out of the hospital. We hope to dispel these fears so more lives will be saved.

A small disagreement cropped up during our conversation on what a car remote-dongle-keychain-thingy-whatever is called. We brought in some expert advice to give the correct answer.

<itunes:summary>During a summer hiatus of about three weeks, we decided it was time to retool the show.  What we had, while good, was starting to get into nothing but politics, without rescue or health included.  I, as the producer, recommended finding the last week's health and medical press releases.  It would have been this week in health.  That format, however, has been shelved for now, as we wanted to try something different.  Instead, they are going to look at a positive comment, a negative comment and then a good question, training or otherwise, from the last week that a lot of people would like to know the answer to.

It makes for a shorter episode of about 22 minutes.
