What is the iResume API:

The iResume API provides access to our critical functionality via RESTful web services.  Organizations can setup their templates, locations, and site information and access and integrate iResume services as needed.

When working a job order, your recruiters diligently source and qualify candidates in order to select 3-5 candidates to present to your client.  Then, in order to present a consistent brand, a lot of time is taken to manually reformat resumes into your company template changing font type, size, style, and format, changing the order of the resume, sifting through tables, and adding your company logo and contact detail.

After this tedious process, formatted resumes are stored on individual recruiter’s computers or an internal company drive.  Emails are sent to the client with resumes attached and highlights typed up for each candidate. Then you wait for client feedback.  In the event that you want to present one or more of these candidates again in the future, your formatted resumes are not easily accessible via search, and often, the highlight write-ups are nowhere to be found.  Sound familiar?

Simplify the presentation process with iResume. Once you have selected one or many candidates for presentation, and you need to reformat and manage the candidate details to submit to your client, automate and simplify with iResume.

• Sign up and/or Log into your iResume account.
• Create an iResume – Click Create New iResume, and select a resume to be uploaded and automatically parsed into your professional, branded template
• Preview for quality control, and Edit as needed
• Manage candidate highlights (availability, location, salary, bulleted highlights, etc) for client view
• Present one or more candidates directly to your client
• Or Download the iResume to utilize in your current recruiting process

You will then have a centralized, web-based resume repository.  You can track iResume activity and have full Boolean search capability that will aid in your sourcing process.  And if you want to make things even easier, connect to the iResume API (coming soon) to integrate your recruiting systems.

It has never been easier to create client ready resumes in a company branded template.

How to use this feature:

• Log into your iResume account.
• Click the Create tab or Create New iResume button, and select a resume to be uploaded and automatically parsed into your professional, branded template (or you can manually enter candidate contact info and create the iResume manually)
  • Click Upload a Resume
  • Click Choose file and browse to find the resume you’d like to upload
  • Click Upload
  • Once the resume has been parsed, check the fields for accuracy:  the Full Name, IResume Title (defaults to the full name, or you can change it by entering text of your choice), City, and State.
  • Select your iResume Template (it will remain Default if you have 1 template/1 location.  If you have set up more than one template/header/location, you can select the appropriate template here – or on the fly after the iResume is created)
  • Select an Availability date (you can edit/change the candidate’s availability under Manage once the iResume is created)
  • Determine whether or not you want this iResume to be public
  • Click Create New iResume
  • Preview for quality control, Edit as needed, Manage and Present candidates
