Pádraigín will be interviewed about her album, ‘Songs of the Scribe‘ on Monday 19 December. The first interview will broadcast between 6:30-7:00pm on BBC Radio Ulster’s Arts Extra with Marie Louis Muir. The second will air at 8:00pm on RTÉ Radio 1′s Arts Tonight‘ at 8:00pm.

Peadar Ó Riada

The tracks from Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin’s new album ‘Songs of the Scribe‘ were today featured on Peadar Ó Riada’s ‘Cuireadh Chun Ceoil’, RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta. Ó Riada described the album as:

“An neamhchoitianta… ana shuimiúil ar fad… CD intact curtha le ceol álainn ar fad… dlúthdhiosca iontach é seo.”

“A very unusual recording… very interesting indeed… ancient words and prayers… a great CD set to very beautiful music… a marvelous recording of songs.”
