Since I first posted this blog entry about my weight and unhealthy living, I’m proud to say things have changed! I’ve stuck to exercising everyday and eating more healthy which has had a great impact on my life. I have more energy, I can taste food differently, and look forward to exercising and seeing my body change.

This past July, I weighed in at 240 lbs. I now weigh 225 lbs! My plan is to lose 15 lbs by December. I continue to ride my bicycle to work and any other chance I get. I’ve changed my exercise routine to keep it interesting, and included regular resting periods. Changing my lifestyle and eating habits has had such a positive impact on my life. I love it.

I realize it doesn’t matter what exercise method you use, as long as you are consistent, you will see positive results. Eating healthy foods ARE GREAT from you. This has been the hard part, but the most impact full thus far. Things have changed for the better and I look forward to posting my next blog entry to share my latest results.

Shame on me!

The last couple of months have distracted me from maintaining my blog, shame on me! I do enjoy sharing my experiences, media, and other people’s stories and hope to keep my blog going.

Currently, I’m enjoying the media I’ve produced for YBCA and I look forward to launching CreateShareWear’s new video series. Fatherhood has been amazing, I love seeing my son grow and develop. Life is good.

There are several challenges in front of me at the moment, but nothing I can’t overcome. Life always presents challenges, it’s an opportunity to grow and learn from your experiences. I plan to address my creative development and work with my no excuses method; just do it, no excuses, period. The Getting Things Done method has worked for me too, but like everything in life, if you are not disciplined and consistent, it won’t work. There is no try, just do.

I’d love to hear your thoughts about how you keep discipline in your life. From healthy living, financial spending, to being a good parent, how do you do it?

I’ve completed my next series of LUCHADOR Lil' Piñatas for FLINC. They go on sale soon, but I wanted to give you a sneak peak of what’s to come.

The lucky 18 people who buy a LUCHADOR will be given an invitation to my new social networking site. There, you are asked to give your LUCHADOR a personality. How many fights has he/she won? What name will you give your LUCHADOR. The site is designed to give my customers a chance to be creative and have fun. I’ll have a profile on the site and I’ll update it with a blog, pictures, and videos. Will you be one of the first 18?

All my LUCHADORS are number, signed, and digitally archived. As I make more, I hope to see the site grow with your great stories, pictures, and videos. The site will offer special discounts and opportunities to help me decide which designs I make and what direction I take my LUCHADOR series.

I just upgraded, kinda. On July 10, 2010, I turned the Jesus age of 33. With this new upgrade you will find less junk food in my life, water please, more exercises and new work. To celebrate this upgrade I visited LA to introduce my son to my parents. Actually it just happened to land on my bday, but it was a great bday.

So what’s coming up this year? Hmm… Short story, Picpoket c/s, new Lil’ Piñatas, and something I can’t talk about right now, but it should be cool. I’d like to direct another music video, so hit me up.

This is a training and employment program at the Youth UpRising community center in East Oakland, CA.

This program is designed to teach young people how to develop a critical eye towards the media they consume on a daily basis and learn how to use new technologies to produce their own media, with their own voice, their own messages, through diverse forms of creative self-expression.

Students learn professional photography, audio/video production and web content creation in order to become youth multimedia producers.

I love all the art work coming out to protest the Arizona SB 1070 bill. Ester Hernández has been such an influential Chicana artist. I love her work and I’m excited to get my hands on her latest print. What do you think of the art work that is in protest to this bill now signed into law? Do you have art you would like to share? I thought of putting together a book of all the art work from across the country, but don’t know if I can do it anytime soon. What do you think?
