Customers with a single connection will experience an outage of up to 30 minutes and will be at-risk for the full duration. Customers with backup connections should not be affected. Customers with DSL back up connections on this device will have a loss of resiliency, however their leased circuit will be terminating on a different access router. OpenSRS is fully online at this time. The earlier issue noted in the original degraded update mentioned that expired domains could not be looked up. Upon further investigation it was determined that the problem was limited to looking up deleted domain names only. Our apologies for the confusion.

Newnet wish to advise customers of emergency maintenance being performed on the mail4 and mail5 PowerHost servers between 2300 18/05/12 and 0100 19/05/12. Customer’s with email services on these servers will be unable to send or receive emails during the maintenance window. Newnet wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We are getting reports of problems sending emails through to AOL. As a result some customers may find they are unable to send emails to AOL email addresses. This was immediately escalated to our telecommunications provider who identified the root cause and restored no

The Hosted VoiP Service was unavailable during this outage.

Gradwell Action:
Our telecommunications provider has identified and resolved the root cause of the problem. We are confident service has now been restored and continue to monitor service.

This status will remain open whilst we continue monitoring.
