Baseball Fundraiser Successful

On Friday night, the Italy Gladiator Baseball parents pulled together and sponsored a hamburger fundraiser. Careful planning and good cooking brought the Gladiator Baseball team and their parents serving the community burgers and homemade desserts. Obituary: Randall L. Mauldin, 1947 – 2012

Randall L. Mauldin, age 64, of Daingerfield passed away from this life January 11, 2012 at his home. Lee’s dedicated and loyal caregiver, Brenda Karnac, was at his bedside. He was born November 03, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Julius Barton and Sammie Lee (McCarley) Mauldin. Lee, his parents, and brother previously lived in Waco, Charlotte, North Carolina and Nashville, Tennessee and attended Protestant Episcopal Churches in those cities. He served in the U S Air Force from the mid 1960’s until a serious automobile accident in late June 1969 ceased that career. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. (Continued…)
