I bought my fourth pair of shoes for this month. Those shoes are actually the pair that I have been aiming ever since and should be buying the time I bought my purple Pedro in Penang. Those shoes were recommended to me by the sales assistant but I thought those heels are too high so I chose the purple ones.

And you know what? I kept on thinking about those shoes. I made the picture of those shoes as my lappy's wallpaper and I kept on buying shoes just to make myself satisfied. But I never puas. Tu pasal la last Sunday I went to Empire Shopping Gallery and without any doubt or rasa guilty, I masuk Pedro and asked for those shoes in size 39. Luckily ada size coz at Pedro, they sell only 1 pair of every size for 1 store. Kalau takde size, kena cari kat store lain.

Puas gila bila beli. I almost got the wrong size when the sales assistant pack for me size 36. I told the sales that I'm not gonna try them on sebab dah try them on before, sibbaik I check again. Kalau tidak melopong la balik rumah.

So here she is...

Sekarang saya sangat ketagih dengan kasut. I just can't help myself, everytime I pass by any shoeshop, I would want to buy at least a pair. I will find any stupid reason or sometimes without any reason to buy a new pair of shoes.

Now I have been collecting about 30 pairs of beautiful shoes including stilettoes, wedges, platforms, and sneakers. Nak buat apa banyak2 kasut ni tah, saya sendiri not sure about it! And do u know what's my favourite brand? It's Pedro (coz it's cheap for leather shoes) and Nine West coz almost all shoes are made of genuine leather.

Not many brands of shoes are using leather for their product and they are still selling them at very high price. Penipu ah. Kasut Lewre RM200++ material tak leather pun. But of course the design and kerja tangan very neat dan kemas.

This month I have bought 3 pairs. Gilalah. Tolonglah tak boleh kontrol nafsu. The first pair is Pedro, the second one is Amori @ Parkson and today I bought a cheap pair of shoes at Nichii at RM30 over plus only. Kononnya for santai and basah2an. Ada aje alasannya.

Serious tak boleh kawal. I have stopped buying branded bags and now I'm addicted to something else.

Telah beberapa kali saya belajar tentang bagaimana nak meng-authenticate beg Gucci. Dan saya tak dapat nak pastikan bahawa Gucci menggunakan hanya certain2 material zipnya, lining atau controllato card mahupun dustbag nya.

Gucci Controllato Card- This card, present with all Gucci products, really doesn’t help distinguish an authentic piece because it doesn’t contain a serial number or other marking unique to the bag to which it accompanies. The only thing to look for here is that the card itself is correct in font and placement of the words. Gucci is always in all capitals letters, “GUCCI”, and is centered at the top of the card in a dark grey background. Underneath that in a white background is the word. “controllato” in all lower case letters. Again, this word is centered on the card. Underneath controllato are the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0. Semalam saya walk in ke butik Gucci di KLCC meneman suami membeli kasut Gucci. Sejak awal beliau memilih, mencuba hingga membayar, saya belek hampir semua beg yang dipamerkan. Tak puas check secara online, saya check sendiri di butik. Betullah apa yang saya baca, beg2 Gucci menggunakan material2 berbeza bergantung kepada di mana ia diproduksi dan juga jenis style, juga keluaran musim atau tahun apa. Ia pasti berubah dari masa ke semasa. Gucci juga tidak mengeluarkan authenticity card seperti Prada dan Chanel, hanya serial code yang distampkan di bawah kepingan leather yang dijahit di bawah zip.

Yang paling memeranjatkan ialah apabila saya dimaklumkan bahawa Gucci juga menggunakan zip plastik dan metal dalam membuat beg. Tak semua juga hardware di beg2 Gucci terdapat engrave 'gucci' di atasnya. Ini menjelaskan sebab mengapa ada juga beg2 Gucci yang berharga agak rendah berbanding style2 yang lain.

Ada yang campak beg Gucci ke garaj yang dibeli secara online hanya semata2 tertulis "Made In Mexico" di dalam beg sedangkan Gucci juga pernah memproduksi beg di Mexico. Sama dengan Prada yang ada mengeluarkan beg di Turkey, sama seperti Miu Miu. Untuk lining beg, kebanyakan beg yang saya lihat semalam di Gucci store menggunakan plain lining. Kesimpulannya, tidak semua yang berbeza itu adalah tiruan. Untuk mengauthenticate sesuatu beg di Malaysia juga agak rumit kerana tak semua style yang dikeluarkan di bawa masuk ke Malaysia.

Sabtu lepas saya enggan keluar rumah. Sungguhpun anak2 perlu ke sekolah ganti (Deepavali), saya hanya mintak driver aje yang hantar diorang semua. Kebetulan hubby outstation, bolehlah saya guna khidmat driver sepenuhnya.

A day before, I tracked my parcel sent to me from Hong Kong and it's already in Malaysia, dah lepas customs check and ready to be sent to my doorstep. Macam nak melompat bila saya dengar Poslaju van honking depan rumah, sebab saya tau my Tod's Bauletto Easy Medium Top Handle G bag in YELLOW has arrived..! I've been aiming for the bag since last month tapi last month tak boleh beli sebab I already paid for my Bardot Gucci Crystal Joy bag (lepas tu I claimed duit bag from hubby sebab its actually a gift from him - beli dulu claim later).

Saya suka betul Gucci Bardot ni sebab dia sangat ringan, tak menyakitkan langsung bahu, walaupun I have to carry 2 babies at one time, Bardot and Amanda hehehehe...

Owh rasanya belum cerita yang saya beli Miu Miu Matelasse Lux Top Handle in Papaya, kiut giler bag ni, eventhough actually I was hoping that I can afford buying a coffer in denim blue for myself yang harganya RM6800 kat Miu Miu KLCC. Hmmm dapat yang Top Handle pun jadiklah daripada tak dapat apa2.

Berbalik pada cerita parcel, as per axpected, my parcel arrived safely, the box is big enough to not to rosakkan my darling which is inside it, thanks to the seller and when I opened it..... WAAAHHHHHHH! Akhirnya aku memiliki Tod's!

One thing about this bag, the material looks like plastic almaklumlah it's coated canvas, nampak macam biasa2 ajekan tapi bila carry, lainlah rasa dia. Dia punye 'berat' tu macam ada satu feeling yang lain daripada beg lain, tak taulah apa, ye? Tapi best betul carry Tod's ni. Perasaan 'mahal' tu ada kat situ. Lepas belek sikit2, saya terus google dan mencari cara2 nak mengenalpasti fake Tod's bag. Manalah saya tau kalau2 saya ditipu oleh penjual dari Hong Kong ni. Bikin rugi aje. Sememangnya saya mencari beg ni dalam warna ini, tetapi kat KLCC TIADA warna ini, hanya ada warna pink dan biru yang tak menarik di mata saya. Masa saya ke HK, saya ada nampak warna ni kat sana. Sebab itulah saya percaya bulat2 aje pada seller yg di HK tu. Harga di KLCC kira2 RM2600.00 plus minus.

Nak mengenalpasti fake Tod's bag tak susah. Sebaik2nya cari beg jenis yang sama di mana2 website milik authorized reseller seperti Saks.com, Net-A-Porter, Neiman Marcus dan sebagainya, lihat rupabentuk luar dan dalam dari segi stitching, zip, lining dan size. Jangan bandingkan dengan bag brand sama tetapi style berlainan sebab lain style, lain spec nye kan? Lining, zip, logo semuanya pasti berbeza-beza.

Saya dapatkan sedikit maklumat dari segi rupa di Saks.com. Dari segi luaran dan dalaman, semuanya lulus pemeriksaan. Kemudian saya check pada sleeperbag yang diberi, berwarna coklat tua dengan tulisan Tod's berwarna oren. Di bahagian dalam dustbag takde kesan comot macam warna meresap....... ok lulus jugak.

Dalam poket beg ada serial number... ye ada. Care card ada.... malah tag masih tergantung.

Dan akhir sekali bahagian yang paling susah nak check ialah zipnye. Saya terpaksa 'berkasar' sikit dengan bag tu semata2 nak check stamp pada belakang zip. 'LAMPO'. Ada..... ok lulus.

Sekarang saya yakin bahawa Tod's saya ialah yang genuine dan authentic. Saya tidak pernah membeli beg branded daripada seller tempatan melainkan harga yang ditawarkan sangat baik, yang tidak mampu saya dapatkan melalui seller luar. Apa lagi baru2 ni saya terbaca tentang ketidakjujuran pemilik satu website yang menjual beg bercampur ori dan fake, tidak melayan komplen pembeli, tidak melayan refund atas alasan authenticity, menjual barangan buruk dan busuk tetapi dikatakan baru malah ada juga yang tidak menerima barang setelah pembayaran telah dibuat! Pemilik website berbangsa Melayu (perempuan) dikatakan menghilangkan diri dan blognya juga tidak diupdate. Tetapi masih membalas email yang dihantar jika ada yang cuba membeli. They are still collecting money! Dengan harga too good to be true, pembeli sepatutnya siasat lebih tentang blog ni sebelum meneruskan urusniaga.

Sebelum itu waktu saya google mencari deal yang baik utk Marc Jacobs Stam Bag, saya terjumpa satu blog yang menjual barangan branded terpakai. Saya belek2 gambar2 beg stam ni dan bandingkan dengan gambar2 beg yang authentic. Jelas sekali beg terpakai yang dijual sebenarnya FAKE sebab bahagian dalam beg yang jelas tak sama, stampingnya tak betul, plate 'Marc Jacobs' sepatutnya tiada di dalam beg, cuma harus ada embossed 'Marc jacob' di atas poket dan yang paling ngeri, lining suedenya adalah lining kulit babi. Penjualnya berbangsa Melayu, seakan2 tak peka dan tak peduli akan sensitiviti orang Islam. Atau mungkin dia tak kenal rupa lining kulit babi?

Sudahlah terpakai, fake pulak, lining kulit babi... harga? RM2000.00. Saya tertanya2 sama ada penjual ini dah kaya atau masih tak kaya2? Hmm... nak berniaga biarlah jujur... berkat!

Nantikan Prada Shopping tote - latest collection saya. Saya dah order terus daripada Italy yang saya dapat pada harga sangat menarik. Mungkin seminggu lagi sampailah tu.

Saya berazam memiliki satu almari besar khusus untuk handbags saya. Namun sementara menunggu kira2 3 tahun lagi untuk menunggu impian jadi kenyataan, saya harus 'menyelamatkan' beg-beg mana yang tidak ada tempat lagi dalam almari sebab kehabisan ruang.

So... this is it! Coach Poppy Spotlight Sateen yang bersaiz medium, harga butik RM1600.00. Saya beli sebagai terapi lepas bersalin tahun lepas. Saya sayang beg ni. Ia masih cantik luar dalam. Cuma ada sedikit (sangat kecil) bekas terkena titisan aiskrim. Lain-lain... perfect! Kondisi beg ni boleh saya bagi 87% baru.

Masih cantik, belum sempat nak kepam. Sangat sesuai untuk raya tahun ni. Raya tahun ni insyaallah jatuh pada 30 - 31 Ogos 2011. Agak2 ada ke yang kena berkawad pada raya tahun ni?

Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci and such...

Semasa saya berholiday dan bershopping2 ke kota Hong Kong minggu lepas, saya sempat keluar masuk butik2 LV, Prada Gucci, Miu Miu dan sepertinya. Saya juga sempat 'menyambar' satu beg Prada yang selama ni menjadi kegilaan saya. Puas dapat membeli satu bag, barang lain tak berapa dapat dibeli pun saya tak kesah.

Kemudian saya juga masuk ke butik Fendi dan check harga untuk satu bag yang sama yang saya beli di butik Fendi KLCC 2 minggu lepas. Harga beg Mia Tote itu ialah HK$9070.00 iaitu RM3780 (kalau currency exchange rate RM1 = HK$2.40. Di KLCC? Harga yang saya dapat ialah RM3970.00. Beza cuma RM190.00.

Hari Sabtu lepas, saya ke KLCC dan sempat jugak keluar masuk butik2 ni sebab nak check harga la jugaknye... saya berminat pada satu beg LV yang berharga HK$8800.00 (RM3666). Nak tau berapa harga di butik KLCC? RM3900.00. Cuma beza dua tiga ratus. Manakala satu beg LV yang lain berharga RM7400.00, sementara di Hong Kong berharga RM7000.00 setelah diconverted.

Sama jugaklah halnya bila saya ke butik2 yang lain. Beza dua tiga empat ratus....

Oleh itu saya berpendapat, kalau beza harga cuma begini, tak perlulah tunggu masa nak berholiday baru beli bag. Bila dah cukup duit, beli saja kat butik dalam negara. Lainlah kalau berholiday ke Italy atau Paris... mungkin dapat jimat seribu dua.

Sebenarnya saya cuma nak cerita pengalaman jalan2 hujung minggu hari tu. Lepas masuk Coach kat Gardens tu, saya masuk pulak Kate Spade. Menurut sales assistant kat situ, Kate Spade ni suka main2 kaler. Meriah2 kalernya. Ada yang dibuat daripada kulit lembu, ada yang nylon dan ada jugak patent leather . Ada jugak yang saya pegang tu, saya sangka ia kulit Ostrich sebabkan dor dot dot nye tapi rupa2nya ia kulit lembu embossed aje. Tapi gojes jugak boleh tahan.

Cantik kan? Kalau dapat yang biru pun, cantik jugak. Harga beg2 Kate Spade tak semahal Coach. Sebab kalau saya bandingkan beg2 leather Kate Spade dengan Coach, beg kulit Kate Spade range harganya dalam RM1900++, dan kalau bukan kulit adalah lebih murah. Berbeza pulak dengan Coach, bila SALE, Coach pegi sampai 50%. Tapi Kate Spade menawarkan 30% saja dan bolehlah dapat satu beg leather pada harga RM1500++. Boleh sangat lah tu.

Jadi, apa kena mengena dengan bijak memilih bijak berbelanja?

Ada kena mengena.... saya cuma nak sarankan kawan2 semua, biasa2kan diri jalan2 masuk butik2 ni supaya boleh tau range harga beg2 macam ni. Sebab, daripada situ kita boleh tau, sama ada berbaloi atau tidak berbelanja online kalau harga yang ditawarkan hampir menyamai harga butik, sedangkan pembelian tak disertakan warranty atau guaranty. Lainlah kalau boleh jimat 40% dari harga butik, oklah kot. Kalau jimat RM100, sebenarnya RM100 tu bayaran untuk warranty. Berbaloi tak?

Hari Sabtu lepas, dalam sibuk2 orang bercuti sempena hari Krismas, saya satu family ambik kesempatan jalan2 cucimata kat Gardens sebelum ke Sunway untuk beli baju sekolah anak2 saya. Biasanya bila dah sampai Gardens, kedai wajib saya masuk ialah Coach. Saya tak kisahlah orang nak kata Coach ni 3rd class brand atau 5th class brand, tapi saya suka design2 baru dari Coach yang trendy. Lagipun buat apa nak berlagak takmo beli Coach sedangkan saya hanya mampu ber'Coach' aje sekarang ha ha ha ha ha..... lainlah kalau saya mampu beli Chanel dan Prada..... gerenti saya sombong takmo masuk Coach dah kui kui kui...

Saya dah aim nak tengok satu beg.. teringin nak tengok rupa dia betul2, secara dekat. Nama dia Madison Sophia.

Kalau tengok dari gambar, sangaaaatttt cantik. Baik yang hitam atau yang kaler krim. Tapi bila saya tengok betul2, dalam gambar nampak shining sikit leathernya tapi yang saya pegang tu macam kusam. Kenapa ek? Dari segi saiz, ada 2 size. Yang kecik dan yang besar. Saya suka yang besar. Sesuai untuk saya yang ada banyak barang nak bawak.

Kata sales assistant kat situ, Coach jarang2 keluarkan design yang macam ni. Kali ni design nye macam Prada sikit. Betullah... macam Prada. Tapi kulitnya tak se-shining yang dilihat kat gambar. Black dan krim tu dua2 sama. Itu buat saya agak terkilan.

Dari segi harga, kalau tengok kat official website, harga di USA ialah US$568.00. Kalau kat butik kat Malaysia, harganya RM2875.00. Yang kecik tu pulak, harganya berapa ek.... tak ingat pulak. Bagi saya, harga kali ni tak melampau berbanding dengan leather Coach yang gojes2 macam yang dulu2. Biasanya kaau leather yang simple, harga dalam RM2125.00 ke atas, dan kalau yang bukan leather RM1400.00 ke RM1950.00. Sungguhpun Sophia ni leather yang berpleated (mesti guna byk leather kan nak buat pleat), harga dia reasonable.

Saya ada jugak belek2 kat website2 tertentu cari harga online. Saya ada jumpa yang harganya cuma RM1800.00 untuk satu beg Sophia ni. Muraaahhhh!!!!! Jimat RM1000.00. Tapi beli secara online tak ada warranty dan guaranty. Kalau beli di butik, manalah tau nanti tiba2 zip rosak.. hantar aje balik ke butik Coach, bolehlah diorang repair. Tapi kalau beli online, takde apapun yang diorang nak cover. Jadi RM1000 tu adalah guaranty dan warranty utk pembelian beg tersebut. Tepuk dada, tanya seleralah. Atau tepuk poket, rasalah tebal ke idak he he he..... terpulang pada individu.

Lepas tu saya keluar dari Coach. Saya masuk beberapa kedai lain jugak termasuk LV (belagak tu masuk LV). Selain tu saya masuk Kate Spade dan akhir sekali Robinsons.

Masa kat Robinsons, saya terjumpa sorang awek Cina jalan2 shopping dengan husband dia. Dia bawak beg Sophia in black. Aikkkk tetiba saya rasa beg ni sangat gojesssss pulak dan leather dia not so kusam like the one yang ai tengok kat butik tadi. Kenapa ek? Saya buat kesimpulan sendiri, mungkin display item dan kusam dek tangan2 orang yang keluar masuk kot? Tapi yang pasti, my second impression on this bag was better.

So sesape yang rasa nak beli beg ni, saya alu2kan sangat. Memang cantik. Macam Prada.

Last week saya dan keluarga ke Sunway untuk membeli Nokia N8. Selepas selesai urusan pembayaran, salesperson minta simcard saya untuk mengaktifkan telefon baru. Ia jarang saya lakukan kerana pada kebiasaannya saya akan mengaktifkan telefon baru setibanya di rumah. Lagipun semasa di rumah, saya dapat mengaktifkan security code untuk telefon tersebut. Apa yang terjadi, semasa saya singgah ke Nichii Sunway, saya telah di'copet' oleh 2 orang wanita berbangsa Cina. Sayangnya saya tidak sedar dalam keadaan yang mencurigakan itu, tidak terlintas di hati saya yang mereka punya niat jahat terhadap saya.

Bagaimana saya dicopet (picked pocket)?

Pada hari tersebut, saya menyandang handbag yang menarik perhatian - COACH Poppy Sequin in silver, XL size.

Kemudian, saya meletakkan telefon saya yang baru dan telah berisi sim kad di sini....

Sekiranya sim kad belum dimasukkan, pasti ia masih di dalam kotak. Semasa kedua2 pencuri tersebut menyelak poket bag saya, saya tidak menyedarinya tetapi saya cuma merasa mereka menolak bag saya di tempat sempit tersebut. Saya terasa tidak selesa dengan kedua2 wanita tersebut dan saya 'lari' jauh dari mereka sebelum tiba2 saya terfikirkan tentang N8 saya. Dalam masa kurang 5 minit, N8 saya hilang dengan segala sticker yang masih terlekat, belum diaktifkan security code dan belum sempat saya bawa pulang ke rumah. Mereka sangat licik dan professional.

Belum tentu pencuri itu hanya di kalangan lelaki. Rakan pencurinya ialah wanita Cina lebih rendah, rambut takat bahu, agak gempal.

Oleh yang demikian, kepada pembaca blog ini, saya sarankan agar TIDAK SEKALI-KALI menggunakan poket depan bag seperti Coach Spotlight tersebut, hanya kerana 'senang nak bukak', atau 'susah nak bukak zip'. Apabila musibah seperti ini berlaku, pihak Nichii tidak begitu peduli, dan pihak Nokia juga tidak mahu membantu sedangkan di Nichii ada cctv, dan semua telefon bimbit Nokia disertakan dengan IMEI number yang boleh digunakan untuk mengesan pencuri dengan mem'block' telefon tersebut daripada penggunaan tidak sah. Saya tak kisah tak dapat balik fon tu, asal saya tahu pencurinya tak dapat berbuat apa2 dengan fon tersebut sebab dah kena block. Tapi nampaknya nasib tidak menyebelahi saya.

Jadi, apa yang boleh saya buat??? Suami ganti N8 yang baru (sebab ia hadiah harijadi), dan saya lebih berwaspada pada masa hadapan.

Urusan Cukai Import Di Kastam Malaysia Pt II

Baru-baru ini saya berpeluang menimba pengalaman sendiri - mengurus sendiri urusan cukai import barang di kastam. Pengurusannya tidak begitu rumit, apa lagi saya pergi ke Pos Malaysia LLCT tersebut pada hari Selasa, di mana tidak ramai orang berurusan di sana (mungkin Isnin lebih ramai).

Untuk sesiapa yang hendak berurusan di sana boleh memakir kereta di dalam kawasan Pos Malaysia dengan syarat menunjukkan surat yang berkenaan (surat tahanan kastam yang diterima daripada Mr Poslaju), dan meninggalkan lesen memandu untuk mendapatkan pas pelawat. Kemudian, ikut sahaja arahan pegawai-pegawai di sana.

Di sini saya hanya ingin menambah tentang info yang saya dapat tentang kadar cukai terhadap barang import. 10% untuk beg tangan, dan 20% untuk pakaian. Oleh kerana saya mengimport beg tangan L.A.M.B dan t-shirt2 Ed Hardy dalam satu kotak, kiraan cukai jadi agak lama (sepatutnya saya asingkan order saya mengikut barang tetapi saya terlupa kerana teruja dengan harga runtuh yang diberikan). Pegawai yang melayani saya agak strict kali ni. Beliau mengira cukai termasuk kadar shipping yang ditulis diluar kotak walaupun saya telah menjelaskan bahawa harga yang saya bayar mengikut resit adalah termasuk shipping charges.

Namun saya akur dan tidak terfikir untuk meminta 'diskaun' walaupun saya tak pasti berapa banyak wang yang saya bawa pada waktu itu (saya cuma mengira 10% untuk apa yang telah saya bayar kepada penjual). Akibatnya, ketika saya berurusan di cashier, saya dapati saya kekurangan wang dan saya terpaksa 'mencari', menggeledah kereta dan beg tangan saya bagi mendapatkan wang secukupnya. Kalau saja mereka menerima kad kredit, pasti saya tidak keruan seperti hari itu.

Namun saya masih boleh pulang ke rumah dgn hati lega (walau perut kosong tak dapat beli makanan) kerana wang cukai dan yang paling utama duit tol dapat saya sediakan secukupnya (tol saya bayar guna syiling ha ha).

The moral of the story - jangan lupa bawa wang mencukupi (atau seeloknya wang lebih), bawa teman bagi membantu ketika anda panik dan perlukan sokongan dan bantuan (seperti saya yang hanya membawa seorang anak berumur 3 tahun) dan minta diskaun jika perlu kerana pegawai di sana mungkin akan memahami.

Walaupun entry kali ini agak peribadi, pengalaman ini merupakan sesuatu yang berguna untuk dikongsi bersama.

Bezakan Ed Hardy Ori Dengan Tiruan!

Bagaimana membezakan t-shirt Ed Hardy authentic (original) dengan yang palsu, yang banyak, bersepah-sepah di pasaran? Tips ini berdasarkan apa yang saya lihat dan sentuh dengan mata dan tangan saya.

Saya memiliki berdozen koleksi Ed Hardy (milik saya dan suami) yang authentic, dan beratus t-shirt dan jaket Ed Hardy authentic yang telah saya jual secara online. Kadang-kadang saya meninjau butik Ed Hardy di KLCC dan kadang-kadang saya meninjau juga t-shirt Ed Hardy tiruan untuk melihat perbezaan dan kualiti masing-masing.

Selain daripada perbezaan yang pernah saya tulis dalam entri saya sebelum ni, satu perbezaan ketara mereka ialah;

t-shirt ini (kegemaran suami) sering dipakai dan dibasuh berulang kali, namun ia masih seperti baru

- yang authentic tidak pudar walau telah dibasuh 10 kali. Walaupun t-shirt basic putih dengan corak / gambar yang sarat warna, sedikit pun tidak akan cacat atau cela tiap kali dibasuh. Biasanya t-shirt Ed Hardy saya basuh menggunakan mesin basuh (tetapi seperti pakaian lain, saya asingkan mengikut warna - putih / berwarna / hitam / jeans), dan ia masih seperti kali pertama dipakai. Namun berbeza dengan t-shirt hitam, seperti t-shirt hitam yang lain, t-shirt Ed Hardy juga 'mungkin' akan melunturkan sedikit warna hitamnya apabila direndam, tetapi printnye atau gambarnya tidak akan terjejas.

Baru-baru ini saya ke Penang, dan saya ternampak seorang brader bergaya dengan Ed Hardy Platinum 'lusuh'nya. Namun, sebagai peminat Ed Hardy, saya kesal kerana brader tersebut memakai yang tiruan. Bukan kerana brader tersebut bergaya dengan Ed Hardy sambil bertinggung makan durian di tepi jalan, (kadang-kadang saya sendiri memakai Ed Hardy untuk ke Giant) tetapi kerana printnya yang sangat lusuh, tidak seperti authentic Ed Hardy yang seperti lukisan yang dilukis di atas kanvas! Ye... itu yang boleh saya gambarkan tentang authentic Ed Hardy - seperti painting, dilukis atas kanvas. Sebab itulah ia tidak luntur. Bukan printing biasa. Biasanya ia lebih menyerlah di atas t-shirt hitam atau putih.

Untuk entri yang lain, mungkin saya akan berikan perbezaan yang lain pula.

Selain daripada itu, ingin sekali saya nyatakan di sini, setiap t-shirt Ed Hardy menggunakan material yang berbeza-beza. Walaupun ditulis 100% cotton, tapi cotton materialnya juga berbeza-beza. Contohnya:

T-shirt ini sangat menarik, namun ia dibuat menggunakan kain kapas yang super-duper soft, oleh itu ia sangat nipis. Oleh kerana printnya penuh dari depan sampai ke belakang, t-shirt ini dijual dengan harga agak tinggi. Sebab itu juga, ia dikategorikan sebagai 'specialty t-shirt'. Pelanggan saya yang pernah membeli t-shirt ini bertanya berulang kali tentang authenticity baju ini sedangkan saya membeli terus dari Ed Hardy Official Website pada waktu sale dengan kuantiti yang banyak dengan diskaun tambahan (sebab tu saya boleh jual balik pada harga berpatutan), selain membeli dari authorized reseller yang memiliki 'majalah' sendiri di USA dan tidak mungkin menjual produk tiruan dengan sebegiru berani.

T-shirt Old Brad yang di atas ini pula dibuat dengan kain yang agak tebal. Perbezaan yang sangat ketara kalau dibandingkan dengan t-shirt specialty di atas tadi.

Oleh itu wahai penggemar Ed Hardy, jangan jump into conclusion sekiranya produk yang anda beli secara online itu tidak seperti yang anda jangkakan. Do research. Mungkin barang yang dibeli itu adalah yang original, tetapi apabila anda sangka ia tidak, anda berkemungkinan akan tidak menghargai barang tersebut. Rugi besar??

Sometimes while you're surfing the net, you can see some google ads like 'US Address - shop with more than 30,000 online stores in the US' or something like that, which means you/we now can shop online even with the websites that don't send those purchased items to Malaysia, but these forwarding company or whatever they call themselves are, will send the items to your doorsteps in Malaysia.

This is how it works:

1. We shop online and use this US address that will be given to us as the shipping address. Registration may be free or paid once, depends on which forwarding company we are using. However, there may be problem occurs while making payment especially when we are using non-American credit card to make purchase. Some of the websites' payment systems do not recognize international credit cards, therefore, before making any purchase, feel free to ask about this related issue.

2. After purchasing items succeed, we will surely get the invoice or purchase order from the merchant we bought items from, the invoice must be forwarded to the forwarding company. The invoice must contain the name of items, quantity and price. Why? There are reasons why........ at first I was wondering why but now I have the answer.

3. Now we just need to wait until the items arrived to that US address. We will get the notification via email when the items have arrived.

4. We can keep the items at the US address' warehouse or just ask them to send the items right after items received by them. If we wish to keep more items at the warehouse and ship them together in 1 package, some fees will be charged after some period of time, let say RM30 weekly for after a month. If we want the items to be sent right away, they will sent the invoice to you.

5. The shipping charge is reasonable especially when we combine many items in 1 package. But one thing that make me surprised, this big package do not detained by the customs for import tax. Why? Because they send your items in separate packages. When all packages have arrived to their warehouse in Malaysia, they will repacking and send them using local courier company in 1 big box.

6. If you waited for ages for your items to arrive, just email them and ask about it. One problem that may be occurred - not all items have arrived to Malaysia. They have to wait until all items arrived, then they will send them altogether. They will (or will not) suggest (or you make the request) to send whatever items that have arrived earlier to your house, whilst the other item will be sent in different package later. Just agree with that. There will be no extra charge for that.

7. These are the steps that I have been thru but the 'other' item that I have been waited, has not arrived for more than 2 months. I politely (just be polite, no need to be harsh to them) asked them about that and they promised me to refund my money (price of item plus shipping charge) if the item did not arrive in a week time. That is why they need to see the invoice. Hmmm......

Now I just need to wait until Monday and will get my 'other' item or my money back.

Eventhough this procedure is a 'long wait' process, I think using US Address is recommended to online resellers like me. Cheers!

Bidding... cheaper or not?

I have found out about a few sites like ebay buy unlike ebay, these sites sells the bids.

Here is how it works:

1. All handbag auctions start at $1.00. There is no minimum price that an auction must reach before it can end. Yes, no minimum price, no reserve price. If an auction ends at $5, they are happy to sell the handbag to the winner for that amount.

2. When someone bids on an auction, the price of handbag increases by $0.02 and an additional 20 seconds is added to the auction timer. Once the auction timer goes below 30 seconds, it will not increase above 30 seconds again, regardless of the number of bids submitted. For example, if there are 25 seconds left in the auction and 5 bids are submitted, the auction timer will only increase to 30 seconds.

3. The last person to bid before the auction time expires wins the auction at the current price. You want to be this person.

4. To participate in an auction, a stupid person like me needs bids in my account. One of the bids package is 20 bids @ US$29.99.

My first impression was 'Whooaaaaaaa! That's cheap!", so by using my 5 free bids that was given out free upon signing up, I started to bid for authentic Marc Jacobs handbag. The 5 bids gone just in a second, but since I have 'terjerat' and was eager to get the MJ bag at very lowwww price, I purchase 20 bids @ US$29.99. I tot 20 bids are enough to win the bag. Click, click, click.... the bidding was getting 'sengit'... 2 seconds more... teeettttttt... the timer went up again to 30seconds, 1 second more.... teeettttt... the timer went higher again, and again, until all the bids gone, and the fight was still on until about an hour tak habis-habis lagi but since I have lost all bids, I don't think I can afford buying more bids to win the bag. That day, I lost US$29.99, about RM100.00 for nothing in only 10 minutes. The next morning, I checked at the site again and the MJ bag has been won by one of my competitors at on ly US$15. Yes, that's very cheap.

Just calculate if the bid started at US$1, and 1 bid will increase the price to an additional US$0.02, how many bids will it need to make US$15? The bag needed 50 bids to make the price US$2. Therefore, the US$15 MJ bag needed 700 bids from stupid bidders. If 20 bids sold for US$29.99, 700 bids costs us about US$1,049.65. Yes, the more bids we buy is much more cheaper, but STILL... siapa yang untung??? The site owner make a lot of money from these kind of sites. US$1,049.65 plus US$15 (the winning price) plus shipping charge, let say US$45 to Malaysia, will total up to US$1,109.65 for a MJ bag, retail price US$300.00. The site owners make more than US$700.00 for a bag. Fuihhhhh.... for the winning bidder, congratulations for winning the 'cheap' bag. But how much actually the bidder spent for buying the bids? You will never know until u tried it out, and become the winner. And for the losers, you really are LOSERS.

Therefore, don't be fooled by all these sites. That's why I like to click at "BUY NOW" button only.

I've been following Ed Hardy since (i think) November 2008 via internet (eversince Ed Hardy blom masuk Malaysia yet) and now I managed to get a few designs for my own collection, and a watch for my husband as a Father's Day 2009 gift which I bought at the KLCC Ed Hardy's boutique. These t shirts are awesome, even though it's quite loud, scary sometimes, they are still amazing!

I've noticed many are trying to sell fake Ed Hardy via online, some are done very well (just like ori) and some are done poorly, obviously.

If your answer to any of the below Questions is Yes, then you can be sure that this seller is selling Fakes:

1. Did you ever Visit a seller Listings that has Every High demand Brand in the World?
2. Did you enter on those Stores and found that each brand have so much selection?
3. Did you notice that these sellers have each and every new style in the market?
4. After comparing on listing to another, did you notice that they are all selling same type of goods, styles and in many cases using each others pictures and suppliers?
5. AND MOST IMPORTANT, Did you look at the Prices of these items and asked yourself if this is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE? Biar betull....!!!!!!

Don Ed Hardy is an American tattoo artist raised in Southern California. He was a pupil of Sailor Jerry Collins. Through his association with Sailor Jerry, Hardy was invited to study tattooing in Japan in 1973 with the Japanese classical tattoo master, Horihide. Melalui post kali ini, saya hanya ingin memberi pendapat tentang pengusaha-pengusaha perniagaan secara online terutamanya yang menjual handbags atau barangan lain yang diimport daripada luar negara.

Pertama sekali, jika mengikut pengalaman saya, pemilik blog tersebut pasti menghabiskan masa yang panjang di hadapan komputer untuk mencari suppliers yang boleh dipercayai dan yang menjual barangan dengan harga lebih murah kepada pembeli. Selalunya, bukan setakat satu atau dua jam, pasti kadang2 sampai tak sedar hari dah nak subuh, mereka masih di hadapan komputer mencari barang.
Kedua, belum pernah saya terjumpa pemilik blog seperti itu yang menjual barang tak ori tapi dikatakan ori kepada pembeli. Penjual2 ini mesti menjaga reputasi perniagaan mereka, apatah lagi barangan mereka dijual secara domestik sahaja, bukan internasional. Namun begitu, penjual luar yang mengaku menjual barang ori tetapi sebenarnya tak ori, biasa saya jumpa kerana saya sendiri pernah tertipu dan saya terpaksa refund 100% wang pembeli apabila barang yang sampai ke tangan saya didapati tak ori.
Blog ini bertujuan memberi sedikit tips kepada online shoppers terutama yang baru nak cuba berjinak2 dengan urusan ini. Selebihnya, usaha daripada pihak mereka sangat diperlukan. Saya harus bersikap adil kepada peniaga2 yang lain demi menghormati usaha mereka.

You are trying to pay for your ebay item (via Paypal, of course) but you continuously get this message - "You've hit a speedbump".

I experienced this problem a couple of hours ago, just to pay for my Betsey Johnson's Whips And Studs Medium Tote Bag in Red. I've promised the seller to pay today (after topping up my credit card yesterday evening) and I continuously get this 'speedbump' message.

I searched from Ebay Answer Center about this matter and I've found many comments/complaints/solutions for it.

Some people reported being charged or charged multiple times for the item, but not having the purchase register in their PayPal or eBay account - owh that's bad! Luckily my Paypal account has not been charged.

I spent nearly one hour on the phone with PayPal tonight. The representative basically said that these sorts of blocking of transactions happen quite randomly. The whole thing is ridiculous. My eBay account is four years old and it's in good standing. Both of the credit cards are "Confirmed" under my PayPal. I'm just a normal guy who wants to buy a computer. I'm in the U.S.

Sorry. First of course look in Paypal to see if you have been charged. Then ask the seller to set up a BIN (I don't know what this is) just for you with no IPR (I don't know what this is either). That's all I can suggest. That 'speed bump' message is fairly new, generic, and unhelpful.

That solution works fine when there's no special coupon involved.

Here's the response I got from them (ebay/paypal) via email:

" I've reviewed your account and let me assure that there is no restrictions or limitations on your account.... we are aware of the issue about receiving speedbump error by

our members when using checkout and we are working to resolve it. As a workaround buyers can pay their sellers directly through the PayPal site to complete your transaction."

Those are some comments/response I got from ebay Answer Center and none of them was helpful for me. However, I have solved the problem. I received an email from Paypal yesterday which asked me to 'confirm my credit card'. I have removed 2 credit cards from my Profile earlier since I have received 2 new replacement cards (for the same accounts - just to avoid some internet scam activities) and have linked those cards about 1 or 2 weeks ago. The email received from Paypal was to remind me about confirming the card.

Luckily, I've just received my card statement yesterday and the Paypal 4-digit-Code (used to confirm the card) is stated in the statement. I confirmed my credit card in my Paypal account and tried to proceed with the payment again. Waaah!!! Successful!!!!! Owh finally I solved the problem.

From my observation, 'speedbump' message is not about one matter only. It could happen for many reasons. Don't get mad easily coz you will find the solution right away!

Hasil yang saya dapat ialah hampir semua (dalam page yg pertama), mengiklankan Louis Vuitton replica handbags atau imitate/copy (tiruan), hanya satu yang 'mengaku' menjual Loius Vuitton authentic handbags. Saya masuk ke laman tersebut dan saya dapati bukan hanya Loius Vuitton, malah Chanel, Gucci, dan brand2 high class grade 1 dunia juga turut dijual. Wow! Best ni....

Most fakes are done in a light tan trim or a fake aged trim that will not change with age.

Since authentic bags are expensive, if the price seems very low then the handbag probably is not authentic.

Louis Vuitton stitching is done perfectly. You will not see loose threads or ends on an authentic Louis Vuitton bag.

Monogram placement is done carefully and is consistent on pieces. It will not be crooked or cut off. It will look the same on each style of bag.

Tags are never attached to a Louis Vuitton bag. They may come with tags, but they are simply placed in the purse or dust bag.
