Kanye West‘s ex Alexis Phifer is opening up about several things in a new interview with VIBE.com, but most notably, she has responded to the shade Amber Rose threw at her in a recent radio interview.

On Amber Rose’s fame
I believe that you get what you want out of a situation and Kanye will tell you, that I didn’t [want that attention]. It’s weird. I’ll get on the red carpet and over-criticize myself. I don’t want that attention. She wanted that and that’s what she got out of it. But if I want to go to King magazine [Ed Note: This interview was conducted prior to Amber Rose's June 2011 King cover] right now and be in a sexy bathing suit I’m sure I’d generate some type of interest. It’s just the decisions you make that put you where you are. She is where she’s at because that’s where she wants to be and I’m where I’m at because that’s where I want to be also. I was kind of like “Girl please.” I just laughed that off, brushed that one right off my shoulders. She doesn’t really know what she’s saying, so I can’t even be mad at her. She doesn’t even know the half.

On seeing Kanye & Amber together for the first time:
I think that at that point, you know sometimes you go through things and you’re like “I just want to do something different” and I think that’s what he was experiencing at that time so he just did something different. Not to say that she’s bad and I’m good, nothing like that, but that’s just what he wanted at that time.

…I wish her luck in her future, everybody deserves somebody.

Alexis is referring to a comment Amber Rose made on a radio show, in which she stated that Alexis dated Kanye for years yet now no one knows her name.

Alicia Keys: Aaliyah’s death inspired “If I Ain’t Got You”

Alicia Keys, who is gearing up for the release of the 10th anniversary edition of her debut album Songs in A Minor, is opening up about some of the behind the scenes facts about many of her hit songs.

In a recent interview, she revealed that the death of Aaliyah inspired her 2004 hit “If I Ain’t Got You.”

“If I Ain’t Got You’ was also such an incredible song for me, it just means so much. Certain songs change everything. This was one of them,” she said of the single from 2003′s The Diary of Alicia Keys. “The song idea came together right after Aaliyah passed away. It was such a sad time and no one wanted to believe it. It just made everything crystal clear to me—what matters, and what doesn’t.”

“I remember writing the beginnings of it on a flight somewhere and then finished it in the hotel once I got where we were going,” she added. “It came quickly and I was so moved to write it and it doesn’t matter how many times I sing it, I love it with the same intensity as when I first wrote and recorded it.”

The 10th anniversary edition of Songs in A Minor hits stores on June 28th.

Ten years though? Wow! Who else feels old as dirt right now?

Beyonce responds to album leak, ’4′ pushed back?

Beyonce took to Facebook to address the leak of her upcoming album 4, which leaked online three weeks before its scheduled release date.

My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans. When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that Bee’s label Columbia Records has decided to push back the release of 4 all the way to September, allegedly citing the leak as a threat to record sales. No official statement has been released from Columbia, so this is not confirmed.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the album does get pushed back. I have heard the album and personally, I think it’s great. But since “Run the World (Girls)” did not perform as well as expected on the charts, I could see the label waiting for a hit single before releasing the album. I definitely think the second single, “Best Thing I Never Had”, definitely has that hit potential.

Gisele Bündchen is on the fast track to become the first-ever billionaire supermodel thanks to lending her name to several profitable product lines, appearing in high-profile campaigns, as well as launching her own company.

CNN’s The Marquee Blog reports:

Besides raking in money by appearing in high-profile campaigns for the likes of Versace and Dior, Bündchen is also earning quite a few extra bucks by branding herself. So far, the catwalker has licensed her name to a number of products, including a jewelry and eco-friendly cosmetics line, and a line of sandals for Grendene. More recently, Mrs. Tom Brady also launched her own lingerie company.

According to Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo, such endeavors could add as much as $19 million per year to Bündchen’s already estimated $45 million annual income.

And it doesn’t stop there. Bündchen also earns additional money as the creative director for fashion retailer C&A’s Gisele Bündchen Collection and intends to sell a stake in her Sejaa Pure Skincare company, which she founded last year.

That is definitely a good look! She’s been the highest-paid supermodel for the longest, but to earn a billion dollars takes things to a whole other level!

Beyonce has premiered “Best Thing I Never Had,” the follow up single to “Run The World (Girls)” off her upcoming album 4. Take a listen below:

I like the record, but I was really looking forward to “1+1″ being the next single. But it’s all good — I can definitely see this single doing well on the charts.

Sidenote: Am I the only one who noticed has been cussing on records this era? Bee ain’t playing games I see.

Here is the video for “Man Down” — the fifth single off of Rihanna’s Loud album.

In the Anthony Mandler-directed clip, RiRi tackles the sensitive subject of rape. She tweeted out to fans:
