This is my second time creating a post such as this one. However, this time, I'm also adding my makeup bag. And, as you'll notice, there really isn't any makeup in the bag. I'm a simple gal. I prefer no makeup (or maybe a little concealer).

What Else: 1940's & 50's the polka dot graced the gowns of female celebrities from Marilyn Monroe to Elizabeth Taylor. At the same time, Christian Dior began to release his dresses in spotted prints.

Remember Lucille Ball? The polka dot dress became a staple wardrobe for her in I Love Lucy. To this day, the polka dot makes an appearance in fashion week.

Yes, I am wearing black and white. The skirt I'm wearing may look as though it's a bluish color, but it isn't The skirt is black and white. Since the colors are trending right now...and I have so many clothes in my closet that are black and white...why not?

I swear these pants feel as though I'm lounging in my pajamas. I love the feel and how light weight they are. It's funny, people look at you when you wear something that's "too risky" in their eyes. A woman stopped me today outside of a yogurt place and said that she loves my pants--but that one has to be super self confident to wear them. She said she wouldn't be able to pull them off and that they look great on me.

I admit, snake print can seem a little intimidating to wear, but it's super easy to pull off.

What do you think about snake print?

I love casual Fridays. Some may not understand why because I'm casually dressed throughout the work week (not much of a business corporate environment). But there is a difference between wearing jeans and causal slacks.

The company I'm employed with allows us to wear jeans on Friday, as well as open-toed shoes--so I'm all in.

Now back to my relaxation.

Feeling Colorful

These shoes ... they are the heaviest pair of shoes I've ever worn. I grew tired walking in them back and forth at work. But, I still like them :)

Yep -- so today was my 1st day back from vaca. It's funny...the day my vacation started, I was happy and smiling. Throughout my time off, I was happy, having fun, and laughing and smiling. I even felt rested. Because I was feeling so good, the day I started getting my clothes together for the rest of the work week, I was thinking colors and happy thoughts.

On the way to work this morning; as the drive to the office became closer and closer, I felt my face changing. My brows started to furrow, and my heart was racing, my smile became a frown, and all of a sudden -- I was angry.

Like I said on my Instagram, I'm just counting down the days until my next vacation.

Music I'm Lovin...

Not only do I go on certain sites to find out what's new in music (R&B, Pop, Country, Hip Hop) --or what needs to be heard, I also listen to alternative stations, indie pop, k-pop, Grunge, etc... just to see what's out there. So I'm going to list some pretty good artist, with some pretty good tunes that I like.

Just a little peek of what I listen to.

DALEY

This guy...Daley...has some good music, but I think it was hearing this song for the 1st time that truly made me say, "keep an eye on him." It's a good song; good feel and it's featuring Jessie J.

KAT DAHLIA

Kat Dahlia; a Cuban-American living in Miami, came out with her 1st single, "Gangsta" this year. It's a pretty catchy tune. There's some similarities of Rhianna in the voice...but can't wait to hear more from her.

G-DRAGON

Okay, I listen to all types of music. If I want to see what's out there and who's coming out, I go to various music sites. One in particular is BlakMusicFirst. They introduce new artist, veteran artist with new tunes and more. Well G-Dragon caught my ears. I have no clue what he's saying, but apparently he's large in Asia. It's funny because I like this song...crazy!

WYNTER GORDON

I've been hearing a lot about Wynter Gordon for some time now. However, it was this song that actually caught my attention.

KIMBRA

I know that Kimbra isn't that new of an artist, but this song is quirky awesome! It came out last year, but I love it!

KENDRA MORRIS

Kendra Morris' sound sort of reminds me of Amy Winehouse. I love this girl's album. You can sample listen here.

Those two words...Be Free...could mean many things to many people. However, for the blog's sake, I won't get deep. I liked the sweatshirt. It spoke volumes to me. And, the best thing was the price--$7--at Old Navy. Once again I was in the store at the right time. They were having their 40% off the entire store sale. I really like that sale. Too bad they don't advertise it.
