This error happens due to some compatibility issue of the game with Windows 7..

But now no worries because there is a very easy solution for this problem which is as follows..

1] Go in the Main Game directory where you have installed the game .

2] Find a File named “BurnoutParadise.exe” you can recognize it easily because it has a game ICON on it.

3] Right click on this file and go in Properties.

4] There you will see a TAB named Compatibility.

5] There you will see A Check Box with the TEXT Run this program in compatibility mode for …

6] Check that BOX , then the drop down menu with be Enabled.

7] From the drop down menu choose the Option of “Windows Vista Service Pack 2″ or “Windows Xp Service Pack 2″

8] Then press OK…

9] Now RUN your Game and Enjoy.. It will Run smoothly if your System Meets the Game System Requirements.

I’ve been reading alot of posts by new users complaining about not being able to get the playstation2 emulator, PCSX2, to work properly. Since I’ve been testing my PS2 games on this emulator since its very early stages, I thought it was about time i wrote a configuration guide for all you guys who might be interested in playing PS2 games on your PCs. First of all, if you want to know about why you should test/play your PS2 games on PC, here are a few good reasons:

• PCSX2 lets you play games in very high resolution because of the advanced graphics plugins that it uses, compared to the low resolution of the PS2 console.
• You can save your PS2 games at ANYTIME you want without needing any ingame checkpoint, by using save-states. Thats a very big advantage for games that won’t let you save your game unless you reach a checkpoint or the end of a level.
• You can take high-resolution screenshots of games while playing on your PC and you can even record videos of your gameplay if you want to show off to your friends.  There are alot more reasons but by now I guess you will be interested in giving PCSX2 a try anyway, so back to the topic.

The guide:

First of all, you’ll be needing to download PCSX2 (quite obvious  ). After installing it, you’ll be needing a PS2 bios file (which is normally named like SCPH-XXXX.bin), this file basically contains all the information about how a PS2 plays a game. PCSX2 needs this file to play games on your PC. You will have to search for this file on Google as I can’t host it since its Sony’s property. After you’ve got the BIOS file (SCPH-XXXX.bin), put it in /bios directory of PCSX2’s folder.

Now its time to launch PCSX2 and configure it. So run the emulator.

Now click on Config from the menu, and choose Configuration       

Now you’ll see the configuration window. If your PS2 bios file is in the correct location, you should be able to see it in the BIOS combo list as shown in the screenshot below.

This plugin is the most compatible one. PCSX2 will probably crash if you have an old video card and you try using ZeroGS graphics plugin

Don’t forget to configure this cdvdrom plugin and select the correct drive letter that corresponds to your cd/dvd drive

Press OK so that all the settings get saved. Now you’re set to play the game of your choice  , just insert any of your PS2 game to your CD / DVD rom drive and click on File > Run CDVD.

PCSX2 will start emulating/playing your game now.  Just to show you the power of PCSX2, here are some snapshots of Tekken4 running on my PC with PCSX2.

Restart the computer to take effect.

Yeah its true now you can remove bad sectors from your hard disk and get your lost data and partially dead hard disks back to life..

Well the procedure is very simple and easy to use.

Firstly you should have a CD writer in your system. and you also need a recordable empty CD.

Now you need to download the image file of a software which is named as Spinrite.

The image file will be in .iso format and you can write it on the CD by using any CD recording tool like Nero, Power ISO etc…

When you are done writing the CD restart you pc and boot your system from cd because this is such a software which works in DOS mode so that the hard disk is not being used by any other program or windows..

The software will then examine your hard drive and ask you for the partitions you want to check.. choose the partition you think which have bad sectors and the data in them is unreadable or they work really slow..

Then select the type of repairing you want to do to your hard drive among the five options choose the last one to get the best results..

This software will take its time which could vary from several hours to days depending upon the size and health of the disk but i can assure you that this software will do your work…and repair the partially damaged part of the hard disk..

It will also check all the sectors of that partition for read write errors and fix them and discover the hidden bad sectors and give you hard drive a new life..

Hurray now your lost data is back but make sure to transfer it to some where else before the hard drive dies completely

Nowadays Many people around Have problem with their ratio at torrent sites!!
Their ratio is below 1 and then they have to keep their PC on for hours to maintain their ratio and ultimately they have to buy a seedbox [a pc just for seeding] to maintain their ratios….

2. Start the download of your required torrent

3. When the download speed of your torrent is at maximum [i mean when it is connected to enough peers and downloading speed is constant after about 5 minutes of starting download]

4. Select your torrent from the list and go to trackers TAB below

5.Then Right Click on Your Respective Torrent Site Tracker And Click Remove Tracker

6. Your Torrent Download Will Not Be Affected And It Will Continue Downloading From The Peers Connected to You..
but utorrent will now not be able to report the tracker about the downloading ….

7. When you Are done downloading the file/movie/song/game etc..
simply remove the torrent from your torrents list…

8. Kindly Dont start to seed that downloaded torrent again otherwise the tracker will easily catch you because you have not downloded that file from the tracker then how come you can seed it…

9.Yee Haa now you are a free leech and none of ur downloads will be counted…

Unlike the last Narnia game that was really boring with just average graphics, this time Disney has come up with something that cannot be neglected.

The requirements of this game on PC are very high – that is 1GB of ram, 2.0 Dual Core processor and 256 MB of 3d card which supports Pixel Shader model 3.0.

In this game, there is an extra level which is different from both the book and the movie. It is called ‘Care Paravell’. This level described how the Narnians fall into the hands of Talmarines. You can control Narnians in this mission and controlling Centaur is fun! As the mission progresses, you will also be able to control giants.

The second mission starts when Peter, Lucy, Edmund and Susan arrive in Narnia and have to locate their weapons. What’s annoying about this mission is that there is a stage when you have to save a Trumpkin from the Talmarine soldiers, and if you close the game you have to start it all over again. There are four other missions in the game which are taken from the key moments of the movie.

There are some problems in the game that you face while playing this game. The camera of the game cannot be moved. The cut scenes are taken from the movie which is annoying. It would have been better if they had made these scenes animated. Another thing I dislike about this game is that when you are controlling a character that has a grappling hook and jump into a fight, he sometimes draws his hook and the opponent takes the advantage and hurts you.

The game’s graphics are spectacular and you can sometimes feel as if you are running through the pages of the book. Another good feature is that in this game you can control up to 20 different characters, including the Narnians. Using swords and bows is also fun. This game just has to be played. You won’t feel the time fly past you. Go and grab it!…..

If you are an adsense user then you must have read the note by google on your Adsense Setup page which says “Referrals will be retired during the last week of August 2008.“

Well now this is the end of the adsense referrals program. But do you know the stages from which this program has passed. Let me tell you the stages passed by this referral program.

Google added their Referrals program soon after the starting of Google Adsense program.But at that time they were offering only four kinds of referral programs or buttons

1. Google Adsense
2. Google Adwords
3. Mozilla Firefox
4. Google Picasa [google's photo editing software]

At that time Google paid 100$ for each adsense/adword signup if the refered user earned or spent 100$ dollars respectively on that program.

1$ for each download of Mozilla Firefox or Google Picasa. But the payment depended upon the location of visitor. This offer was pretty interesting because such an offer was never seen anywhere and it attracted many users.

But there was a big drawback of this offer that there were very less conversions and the referred user was not able to reach 100$ either due to ban or they lost interest in Adsense. So many users stopped using these referrals buttons on their pages because they were not giving them any benefit.

Then Google Adsense thought of reviewing their Referrals offer. And came out with a very cool offer which was never seen before ever and gave a new life to Google Adsense Referrals.

Then the new prices for Adsense referrals were that if a person sign ups from your referral then when he makes 5$ in his account you will get an instant 5$. Isn’t it amazing listen more.. If that same person makes 100$ in his account is eligible for payment then you will get paid 250$..WoW!!

After this offer many publishers who had stopped viewing Adsense Referrals Buttons Again started viewing those buttons and started making profit.

The above offers former part i.e. 5$ was not applicable on Google Adwords Referrals but the later was applicable. So not many publishers again used Google Adwords links on their sites due to this offer..

As the time passed Google saw that they were in loss due to this offer because many referred users were invalid clickers and their accounts were blocked. But Google have to pay 5$ to the one who referred him so Google was in simple loss so …. They decided to stop offering Google Adsense Referrals to those countries from which they were getting most invalid clickers…. and that’s it…..

Then Google Started A New Type of referrals which were very similar to affiliate Marketing. Google allowed companies to put their referrals with a fixed price for some specific action[sign up or buy items] and also gave choice to publishers to put those referral links any where on their related pages.

This referrals scheme also worked very fine for both Google and Advertisers and was working fine till now..

But now Google has planned to stop this Referrals system from Google Adsense…. there are no exact reasons given by Google but most of the experts and I myself think that

Yeah its true, Metacafe.com which is the world’s biggest entertainment website has just launched their mobile site but the website is in its very initial testing stages. And it is yet to be announced officially.

I am regular viewer of metacafe.com and i also upload my videos there. I usually check my channel and videos ratings through my cell phone. Yesterday according to my common practice i thought of checking my channel status on metacafe via my cell phone but when when i entered the URL metacafe.com in my cell phone browser i was surprized to see a different website than i expected. When i paid some attention i came to know that it was a wap version of metacafe.com and the address bar said its m.metacafe.com.

“WoW!” I said. After all the thing for which i was waiting for months came out. Ever since youtube launched there wap site i always wished that metacafe should also have a wap version of their site and mobile version of their videos. Now they have done it with the co-operation of

Ok now as my wish is fulfilled so lets move to the site features…

As the site is in its very initial beta’s so there are some features missing from the site but I will mention also mention those essential features which are necessary to be there.

First of all the thing in which metacafe WON is the video quality for the videos..I have never seen such video quality for mobile videos with such an amazing compression. I have seen many videos on my handheld  from different wap video sites[including youtube] but there quality is CRAP… The video quality by metacafe is superb. Try it your self you will love it too.. 6. The website is not working properly some times it goes down.

If you’ve been looking around for an mp3 player, chances are you are very confused with all the different specifications and the vast array of products out there. You’ve read that you can get your entire music collection on to one mp3 player and that’s true – but not every mp3 player. You have also been told that you can throw them around, go jogging with them, climb a mountain with one and all this is true – but again, not every mp3 player will withstand this treatment.

Basically, if you want to get physical with your mp3 player then you need one with no moving parts. In this case, the iPod is not what you want. You would be looking for a machine which saves it’s music to memory. Some of the most popular mp3 players which fall into this category are in the Creative MuVo range.

There are basically three types of mp3 player. Hard drive based, memory based and mp3 CD player based. The hard drive mp3 players allow you to store thousands of tunes whilst the memory based version sacrifices music volume for freedom of movement. You can even get waterproof mp3 players! The mp3 CD players read the mp3 music from a CD which you have pre-burned.

So now you have enough information to know what type of mp3 player you should be looking for. Now what about capacity? How much music can you get on the various players out there? Let’s take a look.

If you want your music to sound good you want to be using at least CD quality mp3s. One minute of CD quality mp3 takes up around 1 Mb. The memory based mp3 players have a top limit of around 500Mb meaning you can get roughly 120 average length tunes on there. An important factor in your decision should be the size of the unit. If you want to use your player at the gym or while you’re out jogging then you’ll want the smallest player possible. There are some really tiny models on the market these days. You will usually have to sacrifice some storage with a very small mp3 player but you can usually get enough music on there to have a good long workout.

If you want to use your mp3 player more at home then size will not be such a great consideration. The iPod is still a very compact unit and most people will be able to fit their entire collection on there. Of course the iPod is not your only option and there are many excellent manufacturers out there. Just be careful of some of the cheap imports you see on different websites, often there is no support for these players.

As Most of the mobile phone users around the world are fimiliar with the world’s biggest mobile softwares website/forum known as DOTSIS.com. Yeah it was indeed a very cool and great website but now unfortunately due to some negligence by the head admin the website is at its one of the worst times….

Actually a few months ago Dotsis admin launched a new sister site named as Dotnxt that site was also cool and got fame and many dotsis users joined it……

Now a week ago the Head Admin of the Dotsis thought that the relation between DOTSIS and DOTNXT is no more sister site but now they have become competetors.. so he most probably thought of selling DOTSIS to someone and concentrate on managing DOTNXT….

So he sold it to a person named Mansoor Khan with zero Vbulliten forums managment experience  who when took hold of the site made some really anonying moves. He removed all the old moderators and also unsticked/deleted many usefull threads.

On such a behavior from the new admin the whole members of the site were anonyed and they started making threads to get answers but Mr. Mansoor Khan Was no where to answer them. Now poeple are abusing all around the forums to the new admin and requesting answers….

Now most of the people think that the new managment cant handle such a big site and the site structure will collapse and visitors will move out to some other places and the other mobile forums will get a new hope of developing and getting record users like dotsis.

An old Moderator of Dotsis Said

Greets everyone.

Those who are familiar with Symbian Forums across the net will know me as a Co-Admin of another site, known as DotSIS. If you are familiar with this site, you may read on, else, you may leave this thread, since I have no intention to advertise.

Now, a few days back, the so called “Management” of DotSIS decided to drop by the site after a period of 3 years. DotSIS had by then started a PC Sister Forum with the permission of the existing Super Admin Augustine, and also started the donation drive on DN, since it was being run completely on Hime’s pockets.

When the management saw this, they didnt like it. They didnt see DN as a sister site, rather, as a “competitor”. (lol). They took offence at the donation drive, and decided to demote Hime to a normal member and sent forth a guy called Mansoor Khan (With Zero experience in vBulletin, may I add) to be the new Administrator at DotSIS, with their master plan.

That started on Day 1 itself. He created a thread and an announcement saying that all will be fine, he was there to check technical issues… blah blah….. and so forth. But, then, Hime was demoted to a normal member.

The next day, myself and azlan1 (Co-Admins) were banned, and Mansoor sent around a PM saying we were trouble makers, and, offering them higher staff positions. But, fortunately for us, and unfortunately for the new Admin, they revolted (Thank you guys. I am touched) and made threads everywhere demanding answers for the several questions that had arised from this one messy affair.

So, what does Mansoor Khan do? Answer? No. He goes and demotes each and every member of the staff. No, there is no staff member on that site, except Theme Masters, GFX Team and VIPs.

This state is obviously not acceptable, and as far as Hime, myself and azlan1 are concerned, our association with DotSIS is now over. Its sad writing this, and it pains me a lot, but then, thats what “management” wants.

I wouldnt create this thread here, but, as you realise, this thread wont be allowed at DotSIS anyway. There has to be some channels where you, as a knower of the site, get to know the real story, and I am thankful to the staff at this site for allowing me to publish this.

Lastly, as Theme master, I apologise for the non-production of Themes,. I was too tied down in Administrative work at DotSIS, but I think I should be back with a few days.
