Let me stick my neck out a bit and discuss, what I believe, is the preverbal elephant in the room; the always so popular PDF versions of the product documentation, the ?hardcopy? version of the Knowledge Center information for lack of a better description.

(Posted Monday, October 24, 2016) Friday?s onslaught of updates totaled 69 changes and addition to the DB2 Publications, not including the Program Directories, on the publication?s websites. DB2 12 added 22 new manuals, DB2 11 updated 18 of its 24 books, and DB2 10 revised 18 of its 23 publications.

However, the terms most commonly used today are indexable, stage 1, and stage 2. Since I have been dying to write about something (anything) since retiring, this seemed like a fun subject to attack.

You see, here in Houston, we have a DB2 User Group that has its attendance dropping off. The solution of course, is to get more folk from around the Houston area to attend our meetings. However, I just can?t seem to come up with a way to do that.

April 2016 (RSU1603) service package has been tested and is now available

This April 1, 2016 "1st Quarter Quarterly Report" (108 KB PDF file) contains ALL service through the end of December 2015 not already marked RSU. This service also includes PE resolution and HIPER/Security/Integrity/Pervasive PTFs and their associated requisites and supersedes through the end of February 2
