آگیا وہ شاہکار جس کا انتظار تھا، جی ہاں آخر کار ونڈوز 10 دستیاب ہو چکی ہے۔ جن لوگوں نے اپنی ونڈوز کو خودکار طریقے سے اپ ڈیٹ ہونے کی اجازت دے رکھی ہے امید ہے وہ ونڈوز 10 پر اپ گریڈ ہو بھی چکے ہوں گے۔ کچھ لوگوں کو اس اپ ڈیٹ کے دوران مسائل کا شکار بھی ہونا پڑا ہے۔ اپ ڈیٹ سرورز کی دستیابی میں مسئلے کی وجہ سے اکثر لوگوں کے پاس ایررز بھی آئے ہیں جیسے کہ ایرر C1900200 اور 80240020 یا پھر “something happened” کا ایرر۔

ان مسائل میں سے کچھ کا حل بھی دریافت ہو چکا ہے۔ مثلاً اگر ایرر 80240020 ہے تو اسے ٹھیک کرنے کے لیے درج ذیل اقدامات کی ضرورت ہو گی:
ونڈوز 10 نے اپ گریڈ کرنے کے لیے جو فائلز اس مقام پر ڈاؤن لوڈ کی ہیں انھیں ڈیلیٹ کر دیں:

اس کے بعد کمانڈ پرامپٹ کھولیں اور اس میں درج ذیل کمانڈ چلائیں:

wuauclt.exe /updatenow

اب دوبارہ ونڈوز کی اپ ڈیٹ چلائیں۔ چونکہ اس کی پہلے ڈاؤن لوڈ کی گئی فائلز ہم ڈیلیٹ کر چکے ہیں اس لیے یہ نئے سرے سے تازہ فائلز ڈاؤن لوڈ کرے گی اور اس بار امید ہے کہ ونڈوز کامیابی سے اپ گریڈ ہو جائے گی۔

مائیکروسافٹ نے ایک ٹول بھی جاری کیا ہے جس کی مدد سے آپ ونڈوز10 کی آئی ایس او فائل ڈاؤن لوڈ کر کے اس کی انسٹالیشن ڈسک بنا سکتے ہیں۔ انسٹالیشن ڈسک کے کئی فوائد ہیں۔ مثلاً ایک دفعہ ونڈوز 10 مکمل ڈاؤن لوڈ کر کے آپ اس کے ذریعے یو ایس بی یا ڈی وی ڈی کو انسٹالیشن ڈسک بنا کر نہ صرف یہ کہ اپنے پاس ونڈوز10 انسٹال کر سکتے ہیں بلکہ کسی بھی سسٹم پر انسٹالیشن کی جا سکے گی چاہے اس پر انٹرنیٹ دستیاب ہو یا نہ ہو۔ انٹرنیٹ سے براہِ راست اپ گریڈ کافی وقت لیتی ہے کیونکہ پہلے یہ تمام ضروری اپ ڈیٹس ڈاؤن لوڈ کرتی ہے اور پھر انسٹال کرتی ہے لیکن انسٹالیشن میڈیا آپ کے پاس موجود ہو تو یہ کام بہت جلد اور آسانی سے کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ یہ صرف انسٹالیشن ڈسک نہیں ہو گی بلکہ اس سے آپ ونڈوز 10 اپ گریڈ بھی ہو سکیں گے۔ اگر آپ کو اپنی ونڈوز7 یا 8 کو 10 پر اپ گریڈ کرنا ہے تو یہ ڈسک اس کام کے لیے استعمال کی جا سکتی ہے۔ اس اپ گریڈ کے دوران آپ کے تمام انسٹال سافٹ ویئر بھی بدستور انسٹال رہیں گے اور کسی قسم کے ڈرائیورز بھی انسٹال نہیں کرنے پڑیں گے۔

آئیے آپ کو بتاتے ہیں کہ کس طرح ونڈوز10 کو ڈاؤن لوڈ کر کے انسٹالیشن ڈسک بنائی جا سکتی ہے۔ سب سے آپ کو مائیکروسافٹ کا ڈاؤن لوڈ درکار ہو گا، جسے آپ درج ذیل ربط سے حاصل کر سکتے ہیں:

یہ ٹول 32 اور 64 بِٹ آپریٹنگ سسٹم کے لیے الگ الگ دستیاب ہے۔ اپنے موجودہ آپریٹنگ سسٹم کے حساب سے یہ ٹول ڈاؤن لوڈ کر لیں۔ اس کا نام ’’میڈیا کری ایشن ٹول‘‘ (MediaCreationTool) ہے جب کہ اس کا سائز 19 ایم بی کے لگ بھگ ہے۔ اس ٹول کی مدد سے نہ صرف یہ کہ آپ انسٹالیشن میڈیا حاصل کر سکتے ہیں بلکہ اپنے آپریٹنگ سسٹم کو براہِ راست ونڈوز10 پر اپ گریڈ بھی کر سکتے ہیں۔

اس کی ڈاؤن لوڈنگ مکمل ہونے کے بعد اسے چلائیں تو آپ کے سامنے دو آپشنز موجود ہوں گے۔ پہلے آپشن کے ذریعے آپ پی سی کو اپ گریڈ کر سکتے ہیں اور اگر آپ انسٹالیشن میڈیا حاصل کرنا چاہتے ہیں تو دوسرا آپشن منتخب کریں۔ چونکہ ہمارا مقصد یہی ہے اس لیے ہم دوسرے آپشن کا انتخاب کریں گے

نیکسٹ پر کلک کریں تو اگلے حصے میں زبان، ونڈوز ایڈیشن اور آرکیٹیکچرمنتخب کرنا ہو گا۔ نیکسٹ پر کلک کریں تو اگلے مرحلے پر دو آپشنز موجود ہوں گے۔

پہلا آپشن ہے ’’یو ایس بی فلیش ڈرائیو‘‘۔ اگر آپ اپنی یو ایس بی فلیش ڈرائیو کو ونڈوز10 کی انسٹالیشن ڈسک بنانا چاہتے ہیں تو اس آپشن کو منتخب کریں۔ لیکن اگر آپ ISO فائل ڈاؤن لوڈ کر لیں تو جب چاہیں کسی یو ایس بی یا ڈی وی ڈی کو انسٹالیشن ڈسک بنا سکتے ہیں۔ اگر آئی ایس او فائل حاصل کرنا آپ کا مقصد ہے تو دوسرا آپشن ’’آئی ایس او فائل‘‘ منتخب کرنے کے بعد نیکسٹ پر کلک کر دیں۔

اگر آپ یو ایس بی فلیش ڈرائیو کا انتخاب کریں تو آپ کے پاس چار جی بی سے زائد اسپیس کی حامل یو ایس بی فلیش ڈرائیو کا موجود ہونا ضروری ہے۔ جبکہ آئی ایس او فائل کمپیوٹر میں کہیں بھی محفوظ کی جا سکتی ہے۔یہاں پوچھا جائے گا کہ آئی ایس او فائل کہاں ڈاؤن لوڈ کی جائے، اپنا مطلوبہ فولڈر منتخب کریں تو ڈاؤن لوڈنگ کا عمل شروع ہو جائے گا۔

ونڈوز10 کی آئی ایس او فائل تین جی بی سے زائد سائز کی حامل ہے اس لیے اب اس کی ڈاؤن لوڈنگ میں ہونے والی دیر آپ کے انٹرنیٹ کی رفتار پر منحصر ہے۔

ڈاؤن لوڈنگ مکمل ہونے کے بعد یہی سافٹ ویئر ایک دفعہ پھر ڈاؤن لوڈ کی گئی فائل کا تجزیہ کرے گا کہ آیا فائل درست طریقے سے ڈاؤن لوڈ ہوئی یا نہیں، یہ عمل چند منٹس لیتا ہے۔

سارے کام مکمل ہونے کے بعد آخری اسکرین پر آپ کو آئی ایس او فائل جس فولڈر میں ڈاؤن لوڈ کی گئی ہو گی اس کا مکمل پاتھ بھی بتایا جائے گا اس کے علاوہ یہ آپشن بھی دیا جائے گا کہ آپ چاہیں تو اس کے ذریعے فوراً انسٹالیشن ڈی وی ڈی بنا لیں
