The Gorillaz just kicked off their UK and European tour and to commemorate the event released this great 15 minute video featuring the animated avatars of the band. A lot of it was used in previous videos but its still cool to watch.

I’m only halfway into this mixtape and I’m already hooked, Max Tannone’s Mos Dub (www.mosdub.com) mixtape is on track to be my spring music addiction.  If you’re not familiar with the name, Max is a producer of hip-hop beats and dance music based in NYC. Great video about what the world of ad agencies could look like. Obviously since I work in the ad world this short film hits me more. I think its a bit alarmist but I also get the point of the video, evolve or die.

I’m geeking out on these beautiful Star Wars propaganda posters that were inspired by old war bond posters. Artist Cliff Chang created them for the Star Wars Galazy 5 trading card set. A total of 3 posters were created, take a look at the other two after the jump.

I came across this web series a couple of weeks back and had a good laugh. Check out the latest episode where the boys try to figure out who stole the hot filipina girl’s tramp stamp. Looks like the series is getting a lot of attention since this new episode is chock full C-list cameo’s including Pat O’Brien, Fred Durst, Ian Ziering, Pauly Shore and Christian Audigier himself.

I got into Blink 182 late in the bands life and always enjoyed Tom DeLonge’s style and voice. To me the first Angels & Airwaves album was more of a good thing and I was anticipating the new album LOVE. The wait is now over, you can download the album right now and just like Radiohead did a couple of years back, just pay what you feel like paying. They’ll even let you have it for free if you’re a cheapskate. I haven’t heard it yet, just finished downloading it off modlife. Let me know your thoughts.
