There is lot of benefits i found but i am bound to tell my visitors what i do not like on FotoJet

FotoJet used Flash and i hate Flash :( due to many reasons.
FotoJet Loading speed not make me happy but if you refresh the page it will load in better time.

5 useful logo design tips

In this post, Jacob Cass briefly covers a few logo design tips, listing some logo resources too.

1. Learn what a logo is and what it represents

Before you design one, you must understand what a logo is, what it represents and what it is supposed to do. A logo is not just a mark – it reflects a business’s commercial brand through the use of shape, fonts, colour, and / or images.

A logo is for inspiring trust, recognition and admiration for a company or product and it is our job as designers to create an identity that will do its job.

One must first know what a logo is before continuing.

2. Know the rules and principles of logo design

Now that you know what a logo is supposed to do, and what it should represent, you now must learnwhat makes a great logo aka; the basic rules and principles.

As David says:

A logo must be describable
A logo must be memorable
A logo must be effective without colour
A logo must be scalable i.e. effective when just an inch in size

3. Learn off other’s successes and mistakes

Successful Logos

Now you know what the rules are, you can distinguish the difference between a good and a bad logo. Knowing which logos have succeeded, and why, gives an insight into what makes a good logo.

For example, let’s look at the classic Nike Swoosh (shown above). This logo was created by Caroline Davidson in 1971 for only $35, yet it’s still a strong, memorable logo, effective without colour and easily scalable. It is simple, fluid and fast, and represents the wing in the famous statue of the Greek Goddess of victory, Nike (something perfect for a sporting apparel business). The Nike logo is just one of many great designs, think about other famous brands that you know about and check out their logos. What makes them successful?

For more quality, lesser known logos I recommend browsing LogoPond or visiting your local book store or library and reading some books on logo design.

The Not So Successful Logos

We can also learn from logos that have not been too successful, such as the ones on the right of the above picture. Some more very bad logos can be seen in the post is your logo design phallic? As seen in that post, some logos can depict things that may not always be noticeable to the designer (as in the middle logo above) or they could just be plain bad design, as in the logo to the right (above).

4. Establish your own logo design process

Now that we know what a logo is, what the principles and rules of logo design are and what makes a successful logo, we’re now prepared to begin the design process. This is the hardest part of these 5 tips, and is a whole topic in itself. Each person’s process is different and experience is usually the key factor when creating your own logo design process. For an example of a well established method, take a look at David Airey’s design process.

In short, a logo design process usually consists of:

Prototyping and Conceptualising (See Step 5)
Send to Client for Review
Revise and Add Finishing Touches

5. Learn the software and complete the logo

After you have got your design process sorted out, it is usually a good time to begin mastering your software (here’s a selection of Adobe Illustrator tutorials for reference). But before I get to that, I want to point out that Step 4 and Step 5 overlap, as it’s a catch 22 situation – you can’t design a logo by just hopping straight onto the computer, nor can you complete a logo design without knowing your software (the Adobe Creative Suite is a popular choice with professional designers).

Putting this aside, once you have arrived at your initial ideas and sketches from brainstorming, you can then move onto the computer to start digitizing your logo. After you have digitized the great concept(s), your client is ready to review your work, ask for possible revisions, and complete the design project. Thus, you have successfully created a professional logo.

Tools for your Website Testing in Browsers

I've got a cool, quick tool that you can use to optimize your website. You're not going to want to miss this.

As you know, not everyone uses the same web browser to view websites - some people use Firefox, others use Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.

If you've got Google Analytics setup or another analytics tool such as Clicky hooked up to your site, you can actually see which browsers your visitors are using.

For the SPI Blog, for example:

40% use Firefox
23% use Chrome
18% use Safari
14% use Internet Explorer
5% use something else

The thing is, not all websites look the same in every browser, and sometimes one particular browser, even some of the more popular ones, totally mess up the look of your site.

Oh, and I forgot to mention there are also differences depending on the operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux) that people are using.

This is bad, because without even knowing it you could be leaving a bad impression on visitors losing potential subscribers and customers.

I know this, because this happened to me with one of my niche sites. One of the themes I was using was just not compatible with Internet Explorer, and I missed out on a good chunk of traffic because of it.

So how do you know what your site looks like in other browsers?

Check out http://browsershots.org - it's FREE, no signups required, and all you have to do is enter your web address, press a button and a few minutes later you'll get a bunch of screenshots to look at showing you exactly what your site looks like in all different types of browsers.

Note: you'll see a list of about 60 to 70 different browsers to choose from, some you've probably never heard of before. Don't worry about the random ones when doing your testing, just focus on the major ones like Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Mircosoft Internet Explorer (MSIE). There's a quick select "none" at the bottom to easily deselect and pick the ones you want.

If you notice something is wrong (let's hope there isn't!), then you can take the appropriate action to get it fixed right away.

In today’s quick tip tutorial we will demonstrate how to create a chrome 4×4 vehicle emblem using editable text and layer styles. Let’s get started!

Step 1

Make a new .PSD document, size 600 x 450 pixels, RGB color, 72 dpi and transparent background. Paint the new layer with black color (press Alt + Backspace key to use the foreground color of PS toolbar). Now we will create a layer style based on a gradient that will include several grey tones, with a bright area to simulate a metallic car door.

Step 2

We will add Color Overlay in Multiply Blend mode using color #990000. But we can later give the car the color we wish.

Step 3

Create some text using an extra bold font in grey color #999999, similar to the ones that are usually used in this kind of motor badges. I have chosen TS Block. Reduce the size of the X as shown and increase the baseline shift in order to join some edges of these 3 letters and give more realism to the fake industrial design. So type “4” with TS Block font and apply some character parameters (see image). Type “x” and edit it (see image) and then Copy-Paste the first “4” (press Command/Ctrl + C + Command/Ctrl + V) to get “4×4” text.

Step 4

Add a layer style with a 3 pixels Outside Stroke and color #666666.

Step 5

We will separate the stroke style in a new independent layer. To do so we click the mouse’s right button on the “fx” icon of the layer and then choose the option “Create Layer”.

Step 6

Now we have a new layer -with the name of the style we use- and we will add new layer styles to this layer to simulate the badge’s bevel. But first let’s define the style of the front text.

Step 7

With some values inside the layer styles window we will create the front of the badge. The layer that will work as a pseudo 3D bevel can be seen behind.

Step 8

Now we will work on the bevel of this badge with the values for Bevel and Emboss and Outer Glow you can see in this picture. The idea is to add the chrome effect to the bevel of the object. You can choose the angle and color tones that better help you create this effect.

Step 9

Now we will create the black plastic base that these badges have in the back, which is the area that is stick to the car. Duplicate the text layer and Clear its layer styles. We will use a very hard Drop Shadow little bigger than the text and lightly moved towards down, using color #202020. Repeat Step 05 to separate this style in a new layer.

Step 10

This must create a 3D effect that we will add more layer styles to give some embossed effect to this new element. We will give a Bevel and Emboss effect to this layer as well for it to have a tridimensional look. Then add a Drop Shadow that simulates the shadow of the badge projected on the vehicle.

Step 11

Always using the same editable 4×4 text, we will now create a mask using a selection with a 3 pixels feather.

Step 12

We will add an outer glow effect to this soft masked text in order to simulate the light sparkle that passes through the badge.

Step 13

To finish the work we will add a Lens Flare in the edge of the badge. I usually create these effects with a KPT plug-in for Photoshop but I share a download link of a .PNG with a pack of flares of my own collection.

Step 14

Choose a lens flare FX from the .PNG and copy- paste it into our .PSD file. Edit its size and place it in the left side of the badge, matching it with the passing light Y position.

Conclusion

You could try with a logo or other fonts. Don’t forget to join the letters or shapes of your work in order to give more realism to your badge. You can view the final image below. Good luck!

Making Selections: Using the Color Range Command

Making Selections: Using the Color Range Command:

	1. If you read the tutorial regarding using the Adjust: Brightness/Contrast command, you saw me take this sorry picture of a mural I painted and make it a little more presentable, with the aid of the Color Range Command. Here I'm going to get a bit more in depth on that command and use it to make a couple selections.
	2. The Color Range Command will select areas of your image based on colors and ranges you specify. When I use it, most of the time I'm just enhancing or changing colors (I might take a selection of all the greens in an outdoor photo and crank them up so the grass and leaves look a little greener, for instance.) In the image at left, I enhanced many of the colors using the color range command. But you can also use it to copy or delete areas of a photo. Which is what I'm going to do in this tutorial.

	3. Remember this photo? In the tutorial on the use of the Magic Wand, I wand-ed the sky so we could place the woman and ladder on a layer of their own. The wand selects contiguous pixels within a certain color range. Might it not be easier to select that blue sky using the Color Range Command? Let's find out. First I'll use the Eyedropper Toolto sample a medium blue from the sky. When I click on the sky my foreground color changes to that of the pixel I just clicked on.
	4. Now choose: Select: Color Range...The Color Range dialogue box pops up. You'll see a small grayscale preview of the image you're working on, and the areas that will be selected when you click [OK] appear as white in the little black and white preview. (Incidentally, if you want to see the preview in color, as it does in my screenshot, simply hold down the Command key (Windows key=Control)) The [Select] pop up menu allows you to choose a preset color or range of values. Mine's set to [Sampled Colors] because I want to select colors similar to that medium sky blue I clicked on with the eyedropper. You can control just how much gets selected by dragging the [Fuzziness] slider. Higher numbers = more is selected, and the maximum is 200. You'll notice the changes reflected in the grayscale preview as you drag the slider. Remember, what will get selected appears as white. My Fuzziness Slider is set at 162. I found that at a smaller number, I was not getting some of the blues selected in the lower sky.
	5. My preview looks like the image at left so things are looking good. If at 200, you still don't have enough of your appearing white, you can add sampled colors by clicking the eyedropper tool with the plus symbol next to it or by holding down the shift key and clicking with the regular eyedropper. Now if you click in your original image (or the little grayscale preview) on a new color that range of colors will be added into the selection. To remove colors from the "range" you can click the eyedropper with the minus symbol next to it or by holding down the option key (Windows key=Alt). The [Save] button lets you save your current color range settings, and [Load] will load some settings you saved previously. If you do a lot of work to get the perfect color range you may want to save it. The [Selection Preview] pop-up menu affects how you see the image you're working on. After you've had your fill of adding / removing colors and sliding the fuzziness selector, make sure the areas you want selected appear white, then click [OK]. (By the way, if you're not satisfied once you see the selection in place, just hit Command-D or Control-D (Windows) to Deselect. Then go back and try the Color Range Command again. If you forget to deselect, the Color Range Command will only select from the area that is currently selected)
	6. Well, above you can see exactly what I got selected. It's not bad at all. However it's not perfect. I got too much of the woman's hair, some of her skirt, ...
	7. ...and these little parts off the ladder: They were silver, so they reflected a lot of the sky's blue and thus showed up in my Color Range selection. No big problem. I'd just go in there with theeraser and get rid of it, or use thelasso tool while holding down the Option (Windows = Alt) key to deselect unwanted parts. It ends up being a comparable amount of work to using the wand. What have we learned? There's more than one way to do almost any job in Photoshop!
	8. Here's another example. I found this nice silhouette of attempted homicide, and I want to change the background. I set my foreground color to black and choose: Select: Color Range... With the [Fuzziness] set to 200 I get everything I want so I click [OK].
	9. Looks pretty good, But I want to have the floor, too. Nobody wants to see these two women just floating in space, do they?
	10. I hold down the Shift Key and use thePolygonal Lasso tool to draw a selection around the floor.
	11. Now simply Copy and Paste from the Edit Menu (Copy is [Command-C] on Mac or [Control-C] for Windows. Paste is [Command-V] on Mac or [Control-V] for Windows.) A new layer is created as your selection is pasted. If I turn off the background layer (click that little "eye" icon next to it), the image looks like what you see at the left.
	12. Now I can put in whatever background I'd like. I can throw in some hastily made bricks to place this illegal act in and alley:

GIF Optimization Settings in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe ImageReady

GIF, which stands for Graphics Interchange Format, is the ideal format for optimizing areas of solid color and lines, like illustrations, logos, cartoons, line art, and text. Use the following settings in Photoshop's Save for Web window or ImageReady's Optimize palette to optimize a GIF.

File Format

Open Photoshop's Save for Web window (File>Save for Web) A or ImageReady's Optimize palette (Window>Optimize) B. Choose GIF from the Format menu, or choose a collection of GIF settings from the Preset menu. (Two PNG formats are also available-PNG-8, which is similar to GIF, and PNG-24, which can contain varying degrees of transparency. These formats are less popular than GIF and JPEG because not all Web browsers display PNGs correctly, and because PNG-24 files can be relatively large in file size.)

Reduction Method

When you optimize a file as GIF, all the colors in the original image are converted to a limited palette of colors. The Reduction setting determines how that color palette is generated. Choose Selective, Perceptual, or Adaptive from the Reduction menu to create a palette based on the colors in your original image. Avoid the other choices, because they are fixed palettes unrelated to the original image and can cause a noticeable change in image color. Don't feel compelled to choose Web (which generates a fixed palette of the 216 "Web-safe" colors), because today most monitors are 24-bit and can display a much wider range of colors. Use the Mask icon next to the Reduction menu to generate different palettes for text layers, vector layers, and selections you've saved to alpha channels.

Number of Colors

The Colors setting determines how many colors are included in a GIF's color palette, up to a maximum of 256 colors. This setting has the most significant impact on the file size and the appearance of a GIF. Fewer colors will reduce the file size, but may cause the image to lose important details. Choose the lowest preset from the Colors menu that produces an image that looks good to you. Then fine-tune your choice by typing a slightly lower number into the Colors field. To avoid losing particular colors as you reduce the Colors setting, first select those colors in the image with the Eyedropper tool (Shift+click to select multiple colors) and click the Lock icon at the bottom of the Color Table; then reduce the Colors setting.

Web-Snap

Leave Web-Snap set to 0%. This setting converts some of the colors in your palette to Web-safe without allowing you to choose which colors are converted. If you want to use Web-safe colors, it's preferable to select those colors in the image with the Eyedropper tool (Shift+click to select multiple colors), and then click the Web Shift icon (the cube) at the bottom of the Color Table. This method gives you more control over the conversion.

Color Table

The Color Table displays and allows you to edit the colors in a GIF's color palette. You can select colors in the Color Table to convert them to other colors, make them transparent, shift them to Web-safe, or lock them down. Photoshop's Color Table is located in the Save for Web window. ImageReady's Color Table is located in a separate palette. Choose Window>Color Table, or click the Color Table Palette icon in the Optimize palette to open ImageReady's Color Table palette.

Dither

Dither (a pattern of colored dots) is used to simulate a color that's not in the Color Table. No Dither is usually the best choice, because dither increases file size. Dither is useful to avoid banding if you must optimize a photograph, gradient, or glow in GIF format. The Dither and Amount menus offer several dither patterns to choose from. Click the Mask icon to add different amounts of dither to text, vector objects, or alpha channels.

Transparency

GIFs, unlike JPEGs, can include transparency. If the original image has transparent areas, make sure there's a check mark in the Transparency checkbox to retain transparency in the GIF. You can convert individual colors to transparency by selecting colors in the image with the Eyedropper tool and clicking the Map Transparency icon in the Color Table.

Matte

The Matte setting affects the edges of a transparent GIF. If Matte is set to None, the edges of the graphic will appear jagged when the GIF is placed on a Web page. If Matte is set to a color that matches a Web page background, the edges of the graphic will appear smooth against that background. If Matte is left at its default of white, the graphic may display an unsightly white halo against a Web page background.

Transparency Dither

Transparency Dither creates dots of color at the edge of a transparent GIF, so you can place the same transparent GIF on different backgrounds without seeing a halo of color. Choose No Dither if, like us, you find this look too chunky for your taste.

Other Options

Increase the Lossy slider slightly to reduce file size. Click the Mask icon to add different amounts of Lossy compression to text, vector objects, or alpha channels. Check Interlaced if you want a low-resolution image to download before the full GIF. Check Unified Color to apply the same Color Table to all states of a rollover graphic. Uncheck Metadata to keep file size down.

In today’s quick tip tutorial, we will demonstrate how to create a futuristic, grungy, text effect with lots of scratches and fancy neon lights. Let’s get started!

Step 1

Create a new document with any desired size, in this case I made the document 1920px wide and 1080px high at a resolution of 300ppi. Next, change the background color to #272727.

Step 2

To get the scratched concrete look, I used a set of scratch brushes found here. First, create a new layer and call it "Scratches 1" or whatever you prefer, then pick a scratch brush of your choice with a black foreground color and click once on the stage, making sure it covers the whole stage. Next, duplicate that layer you just created by pressing Cmd/Ctrl + J and call it "Scratches 2". Invert this layer by pressing Cmd/Ctrl + I and change the opacity to 50%. Now nudge the "Scratches 2" layer 1px Down and 1px Right to create a bevel effect. Resize the layer if needed to cover the whole page.

Step 3

Let’s get started with the text. Write the text of your choice and center it on the screen. In this case I wrote "TUTSPLUS + " with the Acens font at a size of 65pt.

Step 4

Next, apply these layer styles. You can mess around with the colors to get the effect and tone you wish to achieve.

Step 5

Now we add the scratches on the metal. I’ve used the default Photoshop brushes in this case, mostly the Dune Grass and Grass brush.

Create a new layer and call it "Metal Scratches". Set the Opacity of that layer to 50%. Next, apply the following layer styles to the layer.

After you’ve done that, keep the layer selected and Cmd/Ctrl + Click the Text layer to place a marquee around it. This will make sure you only draw in the selected area. Now add the scratches by painting them in from the edges of the text. Don’t worry about messing up, as that will be fixed later on.

Step 6

After you’ve created the metal scratches and are satisfied with the overall look, let’s start with the removal of the excess scratches. As you can see there are scratches in the dark and bright areas in the image above, which will make the scratches look fairly unrealistic. With the layer still selected, get out the Eraser tool (E) and change the size to 10px with a hardness of 0%. Then erase the scratches in areas such as highlighted in the image below.

Tip: Make sure you only Touch the highlights, as we still want a little of the scratches to show in those areas.

Step 7

Once you’re satisfied with the results, it’s time to add the neon lights. Select the Shape Tool (U) and pick the Rounded Rectangle. Set the corner radius to 2px and draw this shape somewhere inside the long parts letters, making sure it is half the width of the area you’re placing it. And make sure not to cover the ends of the letters, as we still need to add screws there.

Add the following layer styles to one of the shapes. Then just copy the layer style from the shape and paste it on the rest of your shapes to save time. If you wish to reduce the scratches behind the lights, just select the "Metal Scratches" layer and run the Eraser (E) along the lights.

Step 8

Next, let’s add the grunge. Create a new layer above the Lights, call it "Grunge", and set it to Overlay. Pick a brush that you think will be great for adding some grunge. In this case, I used the default Photoshop brushes, primarily the watercolor brushes near the bottom of the Default Brushes. Select a brush, then Cmd/Ctrl + Click the Text layer to place a marquee around it. Then just paint in the grunge.

After You’ve painted in the grunge, make sure Your foreground color is set to Black and Your Background color is set to a shade of Grey, then go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise and add 10%, Gaussian, Monochromatic Noise.

Step 9

Now to add the Screws. Since there is no brush for screw heads, we need to make our own brush for this. Create a new layer and draw a black sphere shape. Duplicate that shape and squeeze it sideways, change its color to grey, duplicate it again and rotate it 90 degrees.

Now merge the 3 shapes and Cmd/Ctrl + Click the layer it created to place a marquee around the screw head. With that selected, go to Edit > Define Brush Preset. Name the new brush "Screw Head". After that, You may remove the layer with the Screw Head.

Step 10

Create a new layer and call it "Screws". Next, apply these layer styles to the "Screws" layer.

کہتے ہیں طاقت کا جادو سر چڑھ کر بولتا ہے۔ بھارت نے اپنے دفاعی بجٹ میں پچھلے سال 25فیصد اضافہ کیا تھا اور یوں بھارت کا بجٹ 29.39بلین ڈالرز تک جا پہنچا جبکہ پاکستان کا بجٹ محض4 4.2بلین ڈالرز ہے جو بھارت کے مقابلے میـں کچھ بھی نہیں۔ مزید یہ کہ پاکستان بھارت کے مقابلے میں ایک چھوٹا ملک ہے۔ ہمارے کوئی توسیع پسندانہ عزائم بھی نہیں۔ ہمیں اپنی مشکلات سے بھی نجات نہیں مل رہی۔ بھارت ایک بڑا ملک ہے۔ جنوبی ایشیاء کی سپر طاقت بننے کے خواب دیکھ رہا ہے۔ بحرِ ہند پر مکمل کنٹرول چاہتا ہے۔اپنے آپ کو بین الاقوامی کردار کے لیے تیار کر رہا ہے۔

دنیا کی تیسری بڑی فوج رکھتا ہے، ایٹمی طاقت ہے،جدید ہتھیاروں کے ڈھیر لگا رکھے ہیں تو پھر لالہ بولے گا نہیں تو کیا کریگا؟طاقت کا نشہ تو بڑے بڑوں کا دماغ خراب کر دیتا ہے۔ جنرل صاحب تو محض ایک فوجی ہیں۔ ویسے جب سے جنرل صاحب نے بھارتی فوج کی کمان سنبھالی ہے وہ وقتاً فوقتاً ایسے بیانات سے ہمیں مستفید کرتے رہتے ہیں۔ اپنی توپوں کا رُخ ہمیشہ پاکستان کی جانب رکھتے ہیں۔ سانحۂ ممبئی کے بعد بھی جنرل صاحب نے ایسے ہی بیانات دئیے تھے۔

اڑھائی ہزار سال پہلے مشہور چینی جنرل اور ملٹری تھنکر "Sun Tzu" نے کہا تھا:

"If you know the enemy & know yourself you need not fear the result of hundred battles." ـ

’’اگر آپ اپنے دشمن کو پہچانتے ہیں اور اپنی صلاحیتوں سے بھی واقف ہیں تو آپ کو سو جنگوں کی بھی فکر نہیں کرنی چاہیے۔ ‘‘ یہی وہ کام ہے جو جنرل صاحب ہمیں وقتاً فوقتاً یاد دلاتے رہتے ہیں تاکہ ہم اپنے دشمن کو بھول نہ جائیں۔ میری نظر میں یہ اُنکا پاکستان پر سب سے بڑا احسان ہے کیونکہ ہمارے پاکستانی وڈیروں کو اکثر بھارت کے ساتھ دوستی کے دورے پڑتے رہتے ہیں۔ جنرل صاحب کے ایسے بیانات سے کم از کم ہمیں یہ تو احساس رہتا ہے کہ ہمارا دشمن کون ہے؟ وہ کیا سوچ رہا ہے اور ہمیں کیا کرنا ہے؟ جنرل صاحب نے نومبر 09ء میں ایٹمی پس منظر میں ایک محدود جنگ کی بات کی اور پھر دسمبر میں جوش میں آکر 96گھنٹو ں میں حملہ کرنے کی دھمکی دے ڈالی۔ ویل ڈن جنرل۔ ویل ڈن! لیکن مزے کی بات یہ ہے کہ جنرل نے حملے اور جنگ کی دھمکی ضرور دی ہے لیکن یہ نہیں بتایا کہ اس جنگ کا نتیجہ کیا ہو گا؟ 1939ء میں ہٹلر کو بھی اسی قسم کا جوش چڑھاتھا۔ مُکّے تان کر دھمکیاں دیا کرتا تھا۔ اُس جنگ کا نتیجہ بھی ہمارے سامنے ہے۔

مشہور فوجی سٹرٹیجٹ Sir Basil H Liddel Hart نے کہا تھا:

"Direct pressure always tends to harden and consolidate the resistance of an opponent."

’’ڈائریکٹ پریشر ہمیشہ مدِمخالف میں مقابلے کی قوت بیدار اور مضبوط کرتا ہے‘‘۔ جنرل صاحب کی دھمکی کا بھی بالکل یہی اثر ہوا ہے۔ جنرل صاحب کے ان بیانات کو پوری قوم نے محسوس کیا ہے۔ سب سے پہلے آرمی چیف جنرل اشفاق پرویز کیانی نے بہت ہی مناسب انداز میں جواب دیا ۔

"Proponents of conventional application of military forces in a nuclear hangover are charting an adventurous and dangerous path, the consequenses of which could both be unintended and uncontrollable."

۔’’ ایٹمی اسلحہ کے پس منظر میں روایتی جنگ کے لیے فوجیں صف آرا کرنا ایک ایسی مہم جوئی ہے جس کے خطر ناک نتائج غیر متوقع اور ناقابل کنٹرول ہو سکتے ہیں۔‘‘ جنرل کیانی کا بیان بالکل درست اور بر محل ہے کیونکہ بھارت کو اور جنرل کپور کو بالکل پتہ ہے کہ پریشر میں پاکستان کیا کر سکتا ہے۔ یقینا انہیں غلط فہمی نہیں ہو گی۔ جنرل اشفاق پرویز کیانی کے بعد چئیر مین جوانٹ چیفس آف سٹاف کمیٹی جنرل طارق مجید کا بیان بھی بہت بروقت ہے۔

" Leave alone China, General Deepak Kapoor knows very well what the Indian Army can not & the Pakistan Army can pull off Militarily."

’’چین تو رہا ایک طرف جنرل دیپک کپور کو پوری طرح معلوم ہے کہ جو کچھ بھارتی فوج نہیں کر سکتی وہ پاکستانی فوج کر سکتی ہے۔‘‘

قارئین یہ تو جواب رہا پاکستان آرمی کی طرف سے لیکن جنگ صرف فوج نہیں لڑتی پوری قوم لڑتی ہے اور جنرل دیپک کپور کے ان بیانات نے پوری قوم میں ایک نئی روح پھونک دی ہے۔ جنگ کا نتیجہ تو وقت آنے پر دیکھا جائیگا لیکن قوم میں جو جذبہ بیدار ہو اہے وہ ہمارا سب سے بڑا ہتھیار ہے۔ یقین رکھیں کہ کسی بھی فوج کو تو شکست دی جاسکتی ہے لیکن قوم کو نہیں۔ قوم کا جب تک ایک فرد بھی زندہ رہتا ہے قوم زندہ رہتی ہے۔ یہ خوشی کی بات ہے کہ بھارتی جنرل کے بیانات نے پوری قوم کو احساس دلا دیا ہے کہ ہمارا دشمن کون ہے۔ حتیٰ کہ وہ لوگ جو بھارت کی شرافت کے گن گاتے تھے۔’’ بھارت سے ہمیں کوئی خطرہ نہیـں‘‘۔ جیسے بیانات دیتے تھے۔ انہیں بھی اپنی نادانی کا احساس ہوا ہے۔ پوری قوم کے ہر فرد نے کھل کر ان بیانات کی مذمت کی ہے۔ ہمارے تھنک ٹینکس، سیاستدان، دفاعی مبصرین، تجزیہ نگار اور اہل قلم حضرات اور عام شہریوں نے بھی دل کھول کرتنقید کی۔ ان بیانات کا ہر زاویے سے تجزیہ کیا جس سے پاکستان کی بہت بہتری ہوئی ہے۔ جنرل طارق مجید صاحب اور ہمارے نیول چیف چین گئے اور وہاں 15دسمبر کو ایک فوجی تعاون کے تاریخی معاہدہ پر دستخط کئے۔ پاکستان کیلئے زیر تعمیر Frigates Fv22 P کا معائنہ کیا اور JF-17 Thunder ائیر کرافٹ کمپنی میں بھی گئے۔ اس سلسلے میں مزید تعاون پر بھی بات ہوئی ۔ دونوں ممالک نے دفاعی تعاون میں مزید پیش رفت کی اہمیت اور ضرورت پر زوردیا جو کہ قوم کیلئے ایک اچھا شگُون ہے۔ اُسکے بعد چین کے ڈپٹی چیف آف سٹاف بھی پاکستان تشریف لائے اور عملی تعاون کی منصوبہ بندی مکمل کر لی‘ یہ ایک بہترین پیش بندی ہے۔ ان فوجی تیاریوں کے علاوہ خوشی کی بات یہ ہے کہ صدرمحترم بھی اپنے بنکر سے باہر نکلے اور طوفانی دورے شروع کئے۔ آزاد کشمیر بھی تشریف لے گئے اور پہلی دفعہ بھارتی دھمکی کا جواب دھمکی سے دیا۔ ’’ہم نے پاکستان حاصل کیا ہے کشمیر بھی حاصل کرینگے۔‘‘

پھر انہی دنوں کمانڈ اینڈکنٹرول اتھارٹی کی میٹنگ ہو ئی جو کافی عرصے سے ملتوی چلی آ رہی تھی۔ اس میٹنگ میں بھارتی دھمکی کا تفصیلاً جائزہ لیا گیا اور جوابی کارروائی پر غور کیا گیا ۔ جوابی منصوبہ بندی بھی مکمل کی گئی اور جناب وزیر اعظم نے مناسب طور پر جواب بھی دیا۔ یہ کوئی معمولی بات نہیں۔ جب کسی قوم کے عام فرد سے لیکر صدر مملکت تک ملکی حفاظت کیلئے اُٹھ کھڑے ہوں تو بھلا اس سے بہتر اور کیا بات ہو سکتی ہے؟ہماری تمام تر کوششیں ایسا رنگ نہیں لا سکتی تھیں۔ لہٰذا تھینک یو جنرل ! تھینک یو ۔ آپ نے ہمارے لیے وہ کچھ کیا ہے جو کچھ ہم خود نہیں کر سکتے تھے۔

فاٹا کی جنگ سے جان چھڑانے کا بھی یہ بہترین موقع ہے اور شاید اس قسم کی کوشش کی ابتداء بھی ہو چکی ہے۔ کچھ ایسی خبریں گردش میں ہیں کہ فاٹا میں فوج کی جگہ فرنٹئیر کور کے دستے تعینات کیے جارہے ہیں اور یہ بالکل درست فیصلہ ہے۔ ان علاقوں میں امن قائم کرنا فرنٹئیر کور کا کام ہے۔ فوج اپنی مشرقی سرحد کی حفاظت کیلئے فارغ ہو جائیگی۔

محسود قبائل سے امن معاہدے پر بھی تقریباً تقریباً تصفیہ ہو چکا ہے ۔ افواجِ پاکستان نے اس سال دہشتگردوں کیخلاف کوئی مزید محاذ نہ کھولنے کا بھی اعلان کر دیا ہے۔ ہمیں شکر گزار ہونا چاہیے کہ جنرل صاحب نے ہمیں ایسا کرنے کا موقع فراہم کیا ہے۔
