Fox, Day 2

So after a day alone in the guest bathroom we decided it was time to introduce Fox to the other members of the zoo. Since we didn't want to overwhelm him we decided it was best to do this one animal at a time. We started with our resident cat, Pepper. Things went really well at first. A happy Pepper entered the bathroom, walked right up to a slightly scared Fox, and sniffed noses. That ended the niceties. What ensued was hissing and growling from both parties. Meet Fox, as in Mulder, the newest member of our little zoo. Fox was born to the mama cat of a friend of ours just about 6 weeks ago. There was a litter of four; three black ones and one red-head. My hubby chose the red-head. The kids had been asking for a new kitty since our old cat died a year ago. We kept saying "no" so they were clueless about Fox. I love my city. I know where all the best spots are to photograph people; all the nooks and crannies. It's easy and comfortable. Sometimes, just sometimes, it feels a little monotonous. People see my work from other shoots and say "I want to do that" or "I want to go there!" The challenge then becomes, how do I make the same old spot feel fresh and new? Sometimes I get lucky. I have a soft spot for men with accents. Doesn't really matter what kind of accent. Accents are sexy! A good accent can turn a so-so man into a yes-please one.
