Since we didn't want to overwhelm him we decided it was best to do this one animal at a time. We started with our resident cat, Pepper.

Things went really well at first. A happy Pepper entered the bathroom, walked right up to a slightly scared Fox, and sniffed noses. That ended the niceties. What ensued was hissing and growling from both parties. I have to hand it to Fox. He...
The speed at which you can find information these days boggles my mind. Need to know the name of song playing on the radio? There's an app for that. What if you wanted to use your phone like a walkie-talkie? There's an app for that. There's an app for just about everything you need so it makes perfect sense that there would be an app (or two) for wedding planning. Check out Mashable.com's 10 iPhone Apps for Planning the Perfect Wedding.

Miss Scarlett brought her parents (and aunt) along for the session. She also brought her favorite blankie, some cookies, and lots of toys to keep her occupied and smiling. I love it when families come prepared! Having things for your child to look at, smile...
Not necessarily the sexiest language but I love it! I grew up listening to it as my mother and grandmother were natives. I drove to Pittsburgh to have dinner with them and we hit it off immediately. They were fabulous and I kept my fingers crossed that they would feel the same about me. Thankfully I was right. I was thrilled when they called to tell me they wanted me to photograph their wedding!

Then we started talking about engagement photos. You may remember them from their vintage session we did. Or you may remember their FAB airplane session. I knew...
She is a fellow photographer and was looking for some new photos to use on her website. I'm always so flattered when I'm asked by another photographer to take pictures of them.

Sheri and I had actually never met before. Another reason I was happy to have her contact me. It was great fun getting to know her! I have no idea which ones she'll choose for her site but here are some of my favorites from the session. Which ones do you...
Antonio does some modeling so his mom is always on the lookout for new photos of him. Once you see the images you'll know why. He's a natural and so stinkin' cute!!! It's been fun watching him grow up. At this age kids change so much from year to year.

Check out some of his adorable images.

While getting breakfast this morning I ran into one of the guests from yesterday's wedding. She was super nice and came over to tell me how much she enjoyed seeing the pictures I had done. (I did a slide show at the reception with some of the images from the day.) She told me she was a newlywed and just got married in September. Then she confided in me and told me how...
