This site is for web designers and website owners to show and look for design ideas. This site uses WordPress to manage the database and uses a Genesis theme Epose for the design layout.

Over Weight and Over 50

This site is my personal journal for staying healthy and losing weight. The diet section is based on nutrition and balance. There are several books, easy exercise recommendations and food charts listed by diet types. The website is built on WordPress with the Lifestyle Genesis theme.

Currently adding my travel photos and there is a travel store with items to enhance any travel experience. The website is built on WordPress with the Lifestyle Genesis theme.

I´m fairly new to using Picasa and have just started adding photos to the web albumns. If you have any ideas or suggestions please leave them below.

Panoramio is a photo social network for Google Earth.

You can upload any photo, but to be listed in Google Earth there are several rules you should know so please read over the requirements. They include: no people should be the focus of the photo,The picure should be outside and you add the photo to the map marking the location you took the picture not the subject. There are several more rules but these are the ones I follow closely.

Currently there are just a few groups to join now. Google Earth is experimenting with the social network aspect, and has a long way to catch up with Flickr.

Once you move your photos to digital it can be easy to lose track and sharing with family and friends can be cumbersome. Flickr can help solve that problem. You can organize your photos with sets and keywords for easy searching, and you can send links to friends or family and sent each photo so it can be viewed by everyone, friends or family only.

Flick is well know for sharing photos so they can be used by others on their websites. Under Owner settings you can change the Copy Right options to customized requirements including: a reference to you as the photographer, where the photo can not be sold or used for commercial use by someone other than you and you can limit changes to the photo.

Atlanta WordPress Users Group Meetup Get it Going On with Genesis Theme by Studiopress
at Urban Oasis Loft B & B and Event Space

With the new year starting and lots of ideas on making money I’m starting the year out with some new directions.

New Websites:

• Business Computers at Home helps home based business and employees who are moving their office to a home office with information on organiizing, security and using WordPress for marketing their business.
• Websites of CMS is a list of the best websites made with WordPress Joomla, Drupal and other cms programs. Not only listing websites but also listing plugins and themes. This should be a good resource for themes, designers, plugins and a place for ideas.

The Atlanta WordPress Users Group on Meetup.com is now over 500 and the second largest in the country.

Just handed off the Atlanta Skal website to a new designer that specializes with Skal Clubs around the country. I wish you all the very best. It was great to work with everyone there.

I’ve topped out at my highest weight ever 248 pounds and tried to push it over 250 but no luck. I’ve been a little lax about updating my charts on Over Weight and over 50 and with a new yoga and chi gong regiment I’m pretty confident the weigh is going to drop off.

As soon as the tasks and responsibilities of these websites are up-to-date there are 2 new multi-site projects waiting to be started, hopefully I´ll be able to write about them next few months.
