Jimmy whispered to me on the dance floor during the reception, “This is real!” He was holding up his finger and pointing to his ring with the widest grin I have ever seen. He was obviously overjoyed that their day had finally come and Carrie was finally his wife. These two are over the moon for each other and their romance filled the air. I was honored to have been a part of such a beautiful celebration and am excited to share these few teasers with them.

Geeze-la-weeze, I am a mommy of three! Jesse is almost 5 weeks and I am still having a hard time grasping that fact. It is hard for me not to tear up looking at these beautiful photos of my three little people. We thank God for these kids and our life with them…the good and bad. Who would have ever thought raising kids would be such a roller coaster ride? All I know is that they fill me up with every breath and I am so happy to have images that reflect that. I was bummed my husband couldn’t make the session, but I am am beyond words with how happy I am with what Stephanie captured. These photographs are magical to me. Thank you. Thank you. Almost two years ago I somehow stumbled upon an up an coming newborn photographer and friended her on her Facebook page, Stephanie Knowles of Jaiden Photography. (Some of you might recognize her from my post of her super sweet family session last fall.) I was immediately taken back by her almost hourly posts of one scrumptious newborn portrait after the next.  I remember thinking I wished she had been around when my 4 year old was born because this girl has talent! Lucky for me I had another bambino for her to get her hands on! Some folks call her the baby whisperer and after our session with her I can see why. She moved from one pose to another without waking my little firecracker and I am beyond thrilled with how magical these portraits of Jesse at five days old came out. I have no idea how I will ever choose which ones to blow up for his nursery?

Stephanie has been quickly working her way to the one of the best newborn photographers of Jacksonville, and I feel blessed to have had her capture these fleeting moments of my precious little baby boy. Thank you Stephanie for working so hard to capture these beautiful photographs that I will treasure forever. I am so happy to have met you and call you my friend. For those of you expecting, run don’t walk to the phone and book her!

Part I you say? Yes! Stephanie met me at the beach when Jesse was 14 days old to capture more fabulous photos for us. I even got to be in some! Stay tuned… that post will be in the next few days! Xo-Jaime

Oh, ya! We are proud to have made it in our second publication of The Knot Magazine. This time they contacted us to use one of Amy’s images from Lindley and Justin’s 2011 summer wedding for their Spring/Summer issue for an editorial on “25 Ways to Wow Your Guests.” Lindley and Justin set off an awesome fireworks farewell at the end of their wedding and we were so fortunate to have been a part of their day to capture it!

It is hard for me to believe that one month has past since this little boy came into our lives. I get a little teary thinking about how quickly it is all going. We are finally getting to see a bit of Jesse’s personality, and getting a little closer to grasping the concept that I HAVE THREE CHILDREN! This little guy has been all over the place seeing that he has two older siblings. He has been to the grocery store a hand full of times, soccer games, ballet practice and pretty much lives in our swagger wagon. He is adapting pretty well to being constantly on the go, however I wish I could say the same. Life is pretty crazy these days but I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Happy one month birthday my little boy. I love you with all my heart! Xo, Mommy.

Well hello my blog readers. I really thought I would be posting these photos for you a lot sooner, but as you can imagine i’ve been a bit busy here on the home front. A few of you experienced parents of three warned me that having a third child would change everything, and I am here to congratulate you on being completely correct! It has been a whirlwind settling back into life as usual with a new baby. All I want to do is stay in my pj’s and cuddle this sweet little bundle, but between carting kids to and from school, soccer practice and ballet I am surely missing out on that kind of newborn lovin’. I am, however, sneaking it in here and there, and Jason and I couldn’t be more content with our decision to bring this little blessing of a boy into this world. Jesse is all that I wanted and more and we are all in love.

I was all set to post a long and exciting version of my birth story for you as well but, I am trying to spend as little time away from Jesse and as much time away from my computer as possible. So, I will sum it up. Jesse was born on March 23rd at 4:21pm and weighed 9 lbs 1 oz and was 21 inches long! He is a big boy that came into this world with open arms to a family that was in much need of his sweetness. I promise to post more photos of his first weeks home along with his newborn session photos from Jaiden Photography.

Tomorrow, Friday-March 23, 2012 is the day. We scheduled my induction for 7am! Thank you all for your continued love and support during my pregnancy. Tonight is our last night as a family of 4 and will be introducing our 5th member in hopefully less than 24 hours! This is all so surreal.  Wish us luck and a safe delivery!

Many of you have been following my pregnancy here and on Facebook since my BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. Well, here I am.  I started this project at 19 weeks and was super gung-ho about documenting the growth of my baby belly, however lost a little momentum throughout the pregnancy. I ended up with 8 stages when my goal was at least 9. Life for this photographer mom has been super busy so I am proud that I at least accomplished what I did and am super happy to have this to look back on. Oh, and many thanks to my pal Amy and my husband for documenting these images for me!

Tomorrow I turn 39 weeks and no sign of baby boy yet. I know I have a fantastically cosy womb, so I don’t blame the little dude. I know he will be worth the wait!

I am finally catching up to some much needed blog posts like our super cute October couple, Angela and Corey. These two are so stinkin’ cute and we had the best time tooting around down town St. Augustine for their engagement session back in February. They had the ultimate patience that day with me seeing as I was 8 months pregnant and I had to visit pretty much every bathroom I passed. They are just magic infront of the camera which made my job a piece of cake!  I am looking forward to their Gainesville wedding this fall and feel blessed to have such sweet hearts to work with! Congrats you two!
