Jalan Jalan & Makan Makan Time ! ! !
Everytime when we thought of going for some weekend getaway sure will thought of Malacca. Caused it's just 3hours+ then we will reach to this full of Heritage Town.

I had a long list for the FoodHunt, but the container in my stomach was Pte.Ltd. So try to eat as much as I can. MY LIST was like :

                             iv ) Nyonya Laksa

but I didn't able to catch a nice shoot of Red Church, caused all my photos was blurrrr like there is an earthquake. All these gotta thanks to my shaky Mr.Photographer !   XD

Hey I didn't know that we gotta pay entrance fee for going in there. Entrace was 3 bucks, not expensive but I didn't want to go in, so choose to have a Snap Outside. Still LOVES...

Chicken Rice Ball ! We didn't go for the under bridge that stall caused it was drizzling that day and we don't wanna Queue under the rain and we don't have umbrella.. so.. we went to Hoe Kee !!Hee.. due to weekend and public holiday, they will mixed the rice ball with loose rice for you. That's still fine for us. And I love their chilli sauce, that's awesome..

Japan Osaka

LUCKY!!
We leave Japan on 07th March before tsunami and earthquake hits Japan on 11th March, just few days away. Oh my god! That's horrifying and scary tragedy!
However there is some people was not as lucky like us..
I'm sincere praying for them and hope those missing family members able reunion with their family asap. For those who had lost their life in this tragedy, may all of them RIP. So for those who are survive from this disaster, please stay tough and cherish.
No matter how, the world is still turning and life is still going on and on.

Okay. Let's brush aside all these sad news, nothing much we can do but cherish every single moment that we owned now.

Family Trip was fun. It's totally different from going trips with a bunch of besties / buddies.
Especially when we all stepped into this society and prepared ourself for the job, how many time that we really spent for our family in a day? All of us busy with our work , our own life and if married already - then busy to build own family.

This is a good opportunity for us to spent times together to laugh and share all the cold jokes around.

02032011 06:30 we had reached Kansai Airport - feel superb duperb excited !

At Kansai Airport there is an area whereby you can get some discount coupon or speacial promotions cards/vouchers and also travel brochure about OSAKA.

So grab and run..

Train in Japan you can choose to go for MILDLY AIR CONDITIONED track, honestly I almost freeze to dead when I stepped out from the airport. Heartless wind brain freeze me, without putting on my winter jacket and just legging, me almost cant walk..

But...

I'm loving the wheather sooooooo much...
Mildly Air-Conditioned train.. Japan goverment really so considerate

Oh my gat!!

This is the UDON that save our life on that cruel morning. It's just 190yen equivalent to about Sgd 3bucks! The Udon here don't have that sour sour Udon smell like what we had in Singapore and I'm simply fall in love with their soup-based ; it just simply.... yummie!! You won't feel thirsty after you had the UDON so it prove that they doesn't like to put AJINOMOTO as much as Singapore did.

Mmmm..... I wish to have one bowl of hot hot UDON in front of me!

I love the environment / the wheather / the street / the scene at Japan.
It just give you a peaceful mind feeling.. but...
just feel sad that such a disaster hit their country ..

SWISSOTEL de NANKAI is where are we going to stay.
This hotel was superb convenience, TAKASHIMAYA shopping mall just outside of the hotel, IOIO shopping mall, Nambai Walk and etc...

Takashimaya mall there was awesome, I never thought that I LOVE TAKASHIMAYA so much in Singapore, but in Japan. Whatever brand you want, you can find it there. The services of the sale assistant was tip-top.

After gals shopping spree, at night we went to UMEDA. Going to see the OSAKA night view.
The amazing nightview make you until forget to breath..
The city lights had ligthen up the whole OSAKA city.. It's like a lots of fireflies flew to the city and having party there..

But, there is 3 no use rats, dare not to go up and see this amazing view; caused they all was high-dimensional. Haiz..... I'm speechless, we all walked all the way here and we fight against all the cold wind caused freezing face and legs; no matters what it's a MUST GO nor..

It's looks like our Polo-Bun; it's not as oily as the Polo-Bun we had here caused inside there is no butter filling and the outside crispy coater was abit sweetie but cant denied it's yummie...

After watched the JuniorMasterChef, we decide to go for our dinner - AERIN'Z at Raffles City Basement 1. Here's the link Aerin's

He was thinking very hard what to order. What to order what to order neh....

We start with our - SOUP, Fish Chowder
Lucky me that the soup not too creamy, as I'm not really into creamy soup. I love the topping crunchy crackers (I'm a cookies monster; I love cookies I loves crackers). In fact this soup was very filing as the fish meat was quite alots and it's big chunks.
A good try neither. . . . .

If you are a cheesy lover, you going to LOVE this Linguine Marinara.
Cheesy gravy with fresh mussels and seafood will make your tongue started to dance in your mouth.
It's sinful for every single bite. . . . .

This is a must must try - CASSEROLE
I love the sauces / gravy / soup ? of this casserole, It just simply perfect to goes with the toasted/grilled french loaf. For those who wanna try this out, this casserole was really worth every cents you spent. If you are a small eater, one casserole with a glass of wine maybe is enough.

NEW YORK MOJITO
Refreshing drink with combination of Rums, Lime Juice and Mints Leaves. I don't really take "mint leaves", but I love to have drink with mint leaves on. Caused it give me a cooling and refreshing mood.

We got a date at 讲爽!
Family outing is the sweetest things on the earth!

讲爽 served fusion food, you can have oriental , western or some local food here. It's prettie nice place to settle your day hunger. It's located near to the GreenTown there. When bypass to this 讲爽, I saw next to it got the - CHENG HO LAKSA ? or CHENG HO LAKSAMANA !! Intend to have a try when I'm back to Ipoh next round - should be early April!!

I had their SeaFood TomYum Beehoon and it's just marvellous.
I like the spiciness of the soup but you gotta eat slowly or else definitely you'll choke by the spicy chili / spices.

They all have their set-lunch.

BERLIN BERLIN here I come..
wanted to try BERLIN sooooo long..

Anyway I didn't try the German Sausage (U.U) Why?
Caused my sis told me it was same as what my twin's sis bought the sausage from her hotel.
My sis said ; "nothing special about it" , so I decided to go for buttercream seabass.

I'm so regret for it. The waitress was a liar!!
I ask her will it be very heavy in butter taste? She said nope just a lil only. When she served me the dishes I really 'O' mouth nor.. Ish.. Whole seabass cover by butter ! Where is my fish..??

Aglio olio seafood spaghetti

I thought aglio olio is more likely is a 'dry-based' spaghetti serve by olive oil and some seasoning spices ? But this seems too much of gravy? Or seasoning sauce? Or water???

Grilled Lamb - Mint Sauce

And the grilled lamb serve with mint sauce was not bad, but I think if the lamb shouldn't cut too small so it will be more juicy and taste more tender.
This is a lil bit dry..

Caused my Sis keep telling me how nice was the knuckles,
it's big it's tender ita juicy and it's yummie.
So make me wanted to try so looong...

For me it's taste like a roasted pork to me or shall called it 'siew yoke'.
So this is Ang-mo Siew-yoke !!

It's crunchies !!
I like the ka-cha ka-cha sounds when u had ur every single bites!!

But too bad that dae I don't have kaki to have 1 or 2 cups with me, otherwise I guess knuckles goes with beer simply PERFECT match!!

So maybe next time bah.. So anyone wana go for knuckles beers give me a ring.. We shall do that at least once ..

It's seldom happened to have full-attendance for a yum-cha session.
Hehe.. good year with a good start, it's an auspicious dae.

Love the flower tea, not because it's tasty, but it does look nice only!

There is a small conversation between Fong & the waiter

Fong: What tea was this?Waiter : It's a handmade flower tea. Fong: So what is handmade flower tea? What is the different between normal flower tea and this handmade flower tea uh?Waiter : Errmmm... actually I also don't know... Fong: (=.=)!!

And this spicy-herbal-tea egg was totally failed! Failed to the max!!!
Like eating rubber, I think maybe rubber also taste nicer than this rubber-egg ??
I think they should name it Spicy Rubber Egg instead

Lei-Cha Spaghetti sounds new and taste not bad though. But that fella keep refuse to give us extra cup or little bowl, keep emphasize to us, it's 1 pax serve. What's wrong if u just go n get us one more little cup or bowl?

In the mene it's Bak Kut Teh kuey-teow, but when they serve it's beehoon!!
Why not they just name it Bak Kut Teh Beehoon?

Time flies..

2011 had arrived. I'm not going to review what had been done or happened in my 2010 caused what had happened let it be memories.

We treasure the goods and we know how to learned from mistake.
If you think what u did wrongly in 2010 should make sure it's not going to happen in this coming 2011.
What we achieved in 2010, we should treasure it and make sure it's going to be better and better..
