How to get your website listed onto BING and GOOGLE and YAHOO for free.

So you have built a website finally, congratulations, welcome to the neighborhood, you are now website # 199,565,465, good luck to you. The harsh truth is that having a website alone is just not enough to make it successful because it is just one website of millions upon millions of websites that are all trying to be #1 on the first page of search engines. Their are many other websites in your category that are older than yours website is and so they will naturally rank higher in search engine queries than yours will.  Many of your competitors are spending sums of money on savvy tech companies to keep that high rank too!

Do not lose hope though because there are things that you can begin doing right away. The fastest and cheapest thing that you can do is submit your website to the search engines by using one of the free online website submission services that I have listed below. Just go to each site and submit your website URL and your name and email address and that is all that is required to start with. They will submit your website to BING and GOOGLE as well as to other directories that you likely have not heard of before, however the downside to using these free services is that you will begin to get a lot of emails from them that you do not want. You will also be prompted to place their banners onto your website as a means of payment for their service and you are recommended to do so.

Many of the free services submit to the exact same directories and search engines as one another so be alert that you do not re-submit your website to the same directories and search engines more than once. Most of these free websites offer all sorts of additional free and paid services that you will be prompted to check out, but the good news is that none of it is bad for you, just your wallet.
