During this conference presentation we equipped participants to demonstrate the basics of iBooks Author, demonstrate the creation and use of widgets in iBooks Author, explain the potential uses of multi-touch books created with iBooks Author, conceptualize an application/use case of a multi-touch book created with iBooks Author in the participant's educational setting, and identify methods for starting an iBooks Author Initiative at their home institution.

Participants explored Apple's mobile products including iPhone/iPod Touch, iPad Mini, iPad, iPad Pro, and Apple Watch. To ensure participants received the most out of their Apple products, the workshop also briefly discussed Apple TV iBooks, Podcasts, iTunes U, and iTunes Store.

Cable and satellite television can be expensive and not offer consumers the flexibility they expect. Participants of this presentation explored how they could use their iPad and/or iPhone together with Apple TVto "cut the cord," reduce monthly costs, and experience several added benefits over cable or satellite.

In this workshop we discussed the process used to implement iPads and supporting technologies across a university curriculum, described the technology ecosystem surrounding iPad technology, and applied the SAMR Model to evaluate technology integration in an educational setting.

Using pre-planned, pre-recorded voice-over lectures and screen recording demonstrations is one strategy to offer students a more dynamic learning experience than just reading and writing reflections. However, there are often discussions, demonstrations, and guest presentations that take place in a traditional classroom environment that are not necessarily planned ahead of time.
