Needless to say, SPOILER ALERT

TWO AND A HALF HOURS. Seriously, the 20 minutes of National Treasure/Davinci Code treasure hunting shit could have been scrapped. Michael Bay thinks he’s making a Lord of The Rings or something?

Messy action scenes, panning camera angles, bouncing boobs and explosions. This is a typical Michael Bay shitfest.

Michael Bay’s jokes are for ten year olds. Robot wrecking ball scrotum? Unfortunately, the retards in my cinema laughed at that one. Sorry, retards and 10 year olds.

When Sam nearly died, there was a god-awful scene of Sam entering what appears to be ROBOT HEAVEN.

Nonsensical plot involving ROBOT BABIES dying.

John Turtorros underwear scene was uncalled for. Fuck you, Michael Bay.

Somehow they manage to introduce EVEN more irritating robots and characters than the first movie.

Megan Fox whoring herself on screen. Michael Bay directs like a 13 year old who just reached puberty!

There are some scenes that look like a commercial for the U.S military

Michael Bay.

Here’s a excerpt review from Rotten Tomatoes:

“Only an asshole could make this film”

Damn right.

These days, I find it very helpful to remind myself of the things that I’m grateful of. Lets do today:

Me and my family went out for breakfast in the morning in Manjalara. Maybe its just part of growing up, but I really relate well with my parents these days. I’m starting to see things the way they do and I really understand how it is like to be an adult sometime. I’d hate to admit it but it seems like they’re always right about life!

In the afternoon, my friends came over and we played Street Fighter IV. I don’t know how it happened, but it’s become Street Fighter Sunday every week in my house. I’m sure one day, even when uninvited my friends will just turn up in my room and start playing! Hahah, I kid, but I really look forward to kick their ass ever week.

Later on I took my family out for dinner and treated my dad (well, he paid first but I’ll pay him back) for fathers day. I think I’ll make it a point to take my family out every Sunday if I can. We spend a little more these days, because I’m now contributing to the household. I used to want to move out of the house, because I wanted independence and freedom. Now I don’t mind staying at home and contributing to the household actually makes me happy!

I then took a nap after dinner. Yes, I took a night nap and it felt great.

At about 10 I went jamming with my brother and my cousin. We played some Incubus and Death Cab For Cutie songs. This was the tightest and most solid jamming session we had, as we all knew the songs by heart. We went through the songs without restarting at all! Soon enough we could even play other songs we didn’t rehearse, and even improvised at the end of one song. This was also the first time we took the Boss GT-10 guitar multi-effects pedal to be studio-tested. Made some crazy sounds with it! Everything else clicked like clockwork and it was a damned satisfying session.

Which leaves me here now, typing all this and feeling great about my life.

All in all, I’d say its a great sunday!

Hi, I’ve decided to take a picture now and then to make up for the lack of comics and serious blog entries. Here we go!

My brother received two turdles for his birthday. Up till today, they are still nameless. They’re pretty much neglected and my aunty takes care of them.

Here’s a closer look at those buggers. They’ve grown so much since a month ago, and we’ll need a bigger fish tank!

This one’s saying “Hey sup?”. If you’re wondering why the water is murky, its because the turdles shit a lot. They loooooove to shit right after I clean the tank. Friggin turdles ..

Oh today I went to digital mall and saw the rubble beside it. This made the news a few weeks ago and they haven’t cleared it up. Are there still bodies buried there?

My cousins, Anthony and Adam playing Guitar Hero. That’s me playing “drums” and my mum disapproving. I’ve received quite a few visitors since I got Guitar Hero and my Xbox. Its Street Fighter every Sunday now.

Just to complete this picture set, I took a photo a few minutes ago of my computer.

I’ll bring my camera to work and snap some photos of my office next!

Damn, that last month sure flew by!

Work wise, I’ve learnt so many things which I’ve never done before. Preparing documents for company formation, tenancy agreements for the new office, calling up contractors to arrange electrical wiring, air-conditioning, speaking to the management office to get permits for renovation work, arranging for a lorry to carry our new furniture and much more that I care to remember. On top of all this, I have my friggin programming work to do!

That’s where I’m glad that I have a programmer working under me. This is the first time I’m managing a subordinate, and I’m glad that he gets the job well done! As a project manager, I divide the huge job into little tasks and schedule it daily for him. I think he’ll be overwhelmed if he gets a whole chunk of work thrown at him, but we’ll see. However, a few times, I’ve had to defend him from the boss, because he looks like he’s slacking, or on messenger too much. Well, he gets the job done, I told my boss.

Then there’s a new designer. Now this is where things get a little more complicated, because I usually don’t know how long does design work take. It’s only her second day on the job, and she’s coming up with a few designs for our website. It’ll be interesting to learn and get used to working together, and I’m looking forward to work with her ! (Also, she reads this blog, so I can’t complain too much otherwise she’ll hit me with her helmet)

Working with others, is much much harder. We deal with a freelance programmer, potential interviewees and don’t even get me started on some contractors and resellers. What happened to taking pride in their work man ? Some of these people clearly don’t give a shit. For example, I asked if the lorry guy can carry stuff tomorrow at 11am, he answered “Call me tomorrow at 12pm and I’ll see if I’m free”. Or the P1max reseller in Plaza Damas who never returns phone calls (Apparently, he’s an authorized reseller). Or how about the neighbour office woman who started yelling at me and the electrician because they started drilling at 4:50pm. No request, no asking, just straight up yelling when she came out of the door. Fucking menopause bitch.

I have to mention though, that whenever I meet one, just one of them that does the work well (or even just converse properly) that would already make my day. Like the responsible electrician, or the interviewee who calls up to confirm the interview time (believe it or not, most just don’t turn up) or the helpful P1 Wimax tech support or Maxis Corporate Customer Care.

The way I see it, there’s a lot of assholes out there. Its sometimes just hard not to be one . All I can do it to try to keep my head in a right place, and not let all this negativity get to me. The more I do this, the better I realize the importance of customer service. We’ll develop good relationships with the deserving companies (and people), and offer that same service to our clients as well. Me and the boss had this chat today, and we made a little pact to always treat our clients and suppliers with respect.

Phew, I’ve vented enough and I haven’t even gotten to my personal life yet! Tune in soon for that update folks!
