Select the wrong friends and you’ll get the dialect opposite of what’s been mentioned above. Everyone will not parallel your journey through life, it’s a painful reality, but true, get over it and move on.

Select your friends wisely for all of the reasons you already know and the one’s you don’t. If you’re not sure how to select friends that are in greater alignment with what you want to achieve in life this may help.

The list of questions could go on and on. To be fair not all African-American Athletes find themselves into financial troubles during or after their careers in professional sports.

Overwhelmingly, whenever there are mentions of a professional athlete having financial trouble it seems to be that of African-Americans. So, the question is asked… “Do White-American Professional Athletes fall on hard economic times just as some African-American Professional Athletes do?”

SOLUTION QUESTION: What actions are needed to ensure former, current and future African-American Professional Athletes don’t fall on hard economic times? Are these the same actions needed by African-American’s as a whole to ensure they don’t fall or reduce the chances they’ll fall on hard economic times?

SOLUTIONS: Learn to earn, save, invest and repeat the process over and over again. Always pay yourself first. Live below your means. Over time you’ll find these fundamental principles will greatly increase your opportunity for financial freedom.

Should you come into a large sum of money, continue to live close to your current lifestyle. Don’t immediately purchase new homes, cars, clothes, jewelry, etc. Don’t attempt to help all your family members and friends by giving them money or investing in their ideas. Don’t give all your money to any one financial consultant, money manager, agent, etc.

Unless sleeping is helping you increase your income, be a more productive citizen and philanthropist, give more to charity, live a healthier life and dramatically increase your romance it’s time to wake up. While sleeping could mean the physical state of resting one’s body it may also metaphorically mean the state of mind you’re in at any given time.

Yes, rest is required and sleep is paramount, but not to the point that you aren’t living the life you say you desire. How many self-made multi-millionaires, personal trainers, fitness gurus and over achievers do you know that constantly sleep, sleep, sleep? There are always exceptions to the rule, but unless you’re the exception it’s best to follow the rule, wake up!

If you need an alarm clock to ensure you wake up to go to work you may need to change your occupation!

Wake up, there’s money to make, people to help, a life to live and love to make!

If two runners start at the running block and one goes, while the other stays the runner that stays will get left behind simply, because they did’t make the decision to move forward.

…Games that have little to do with curing the ills of the world or lifting humanity to a more wonderful place of existence.

Perhaps if more prayer and prayer being put into practice were given to stopping and preventing wars, ending world hunger, stopping and prevention of rape, slave trade, women being abused, homelessness, abuse of police brutality, drug proliferation, disease, resource grabbing… the world would be a better place.

Perhaps if people invested as much time doing good than debating the merits of religion in sports this world we live would be a better place today and tomorrow forever more.

It seems almost trivial to consider God in sports unless in fact, an athletic game was used to help cure some of the ills of the world and/or lift humanity from where it is now into some place more wonderful.
