With great sadness I must tell you that our sister in JAWS, Mary Thom, died on Friday after a tragic motorcycle accident in New York. Mary was a member and staunch supporter of JAWS for many years. She was a long-time editor of Ms. Magazine. Many JAWS members have worked with her in her role as editor at the Women’s Media Center, and all of us have been touched by her generous heart. We will miss her and send our love and support to her sister, longtime JAWS member Susan Loubet, a journalist in New Mexico who shared her sister’s love for riding.
