How to install Cydia 1.1.8 deb on all iOS device running 5.1.1 – 6.1.2 [Only iPhone 4/3GS on iOS 6.1.3]

Here, we need an important tool to complete the installation, that is iFile, a powerful file manager for iOS, which is available at Cydia Store for free, if you have not yet installed it, please search for iFile from Cydia.

Steps:

Step 1: If you are using Mobile Safari on your device, directly click this link (http://cache.saurik.com/debs/cydia_1.1.8_iphoneos-arm.deb) then you will see a Cydia deb download page shown below.

Step 2: Click Open in “iFile” in the upper right corner.

Step 3: You will see the iFile options. Select Installer

Step 4: iFile will automatically complete the installation and updating Cydia. Reboot your device.

Done, you will see a whole new Cydia, no errors.

Note: If the packages list refresh always fail, please delete the files in /var/lib/apt/lists directory, but make sure to keep the partial folder in the directory, just delete the files inside. The delete operation in /var/lib/apt/lists will be deleted sources you previously added, please re-add them.

If the Cydia data refresh still fails, please directly download the lists file we shared, unzip it, and replace the original lists under /var/lib/apt, then refresh again.

How to replace the Country/Region of your Apple ID.

Step 1: Go to Settings app on iPhone, iPad or iPod toucn, then find out “iTunes & App Stores” option and click it.

Step 2: You will see some simple switch and your Apple info, directly tap on the Apple ID: xxx@xx.com. A message will pop up showing some options. Tap on “View Apple ID”.

Step 3: A screen as shown below will be presented to you. Tap on “Country/Region”.

Step 4: Tap on “Change Country or Region”.

Step 5: To change your Apple ID to another country simply tap on the store button. It will present you a list of countries to which you can change your Apple ID to. Select the desired country and tap on done and then click next.

Step 6: That’s basically it. On the next screen it will show some options for changing your address and method of payment. If you do not want to change those simply leave them as it is and tap on done.

You would now have changed your Apple ID store to another country, congrats!

If your device is running slow then want to cover the current firmware is running. Then today you have a better choice, you can restore the current ipsw to a clean state without saved SHSH blobs or APTickets. CoolStar team is developing a new tool called Semi-Restore. Which allow you to do a clean semi-restore to the firmware version you are currently running. This means if you want to restore your iPhone 5 back to iOS 6.1.2 you could do a semi-restore (it cannot be a full restore as this would force an update) and essentially run a clean version of iOS 6.1.2 again.

Semi-Restore compatible with all jailbroken iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models running iOS 5.0 – 6.1.2.

Requirements

• 5-10 minutes of your time!
• A computer running Windows or Mac OS X
• OpenSSH and APT 0.7 Strict (NOT THE LIB) installed on your device
• An SSH client on your computer (USB version coming soon)

Important! Read this or you may regret it!

• There may be a better way to fix your current problem. For example, to fix “Safe Mode” issues, you can just uninstall Mobile Substrate from Cydia.
• Like any other restore, make sure you backup your data if you want it later.
• Avoid using your iOS device or anything related to iTunes or XCode. Why not actually go outside?
• This process can not and does not repair broken system files! Avoid all Siri Ports, as they are not only illegal (except for Spire on 5.0.1) but they also create problems and may potentially break system files (even Spire can cause this).
• Your device will respring several times during the semi-restore. This is perfectly normal, so don’t panic.

Note: You can not use Semi-Restore to go from firmware x to firmware y, this is only allows you to go to a fresh version of your current firmware.

It is reported that iPad Mini 2 remains the 7.9-inch screen size, but with extremely narrow bezels giving an almost an edge-to-edge display. The display with resolution of 2048 x 1536 and 324 ppi. iPad Mini 2 include an Apple A6X processor although it’s stated that if the A7 chip is available this may be included instead. There’s also an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage. Finally it’s described as 7.5mm thick, just a little thicker than the current iPad mini at 7.2mm and the release timeframe is cited as Q3 this year, which is what we expected previously.
