Note: We introduced “Yosh” in the post.

The Japanese word “Yosh” is used in manga to convey, “Alright, let’s go!” Or as they say in Katie’s household: “Go means go!”

Above is a short clip that says what we’re saying (and demonstrating): For sure, “yosh” is spontaneous and energetic—a verbal burst of enthusiasm or resolve. We believe if you embrace the DragonBustR Way and it becomes a Way of Life (interwoven), you may find yourself bursting with enthusiasm and resolve.

Now on with the story!

And so it was that our little Pals (Happy Puppy KEE-RA and RC the GREMLIN / STORYTELLER) had tasked assignments that they dutifully performed.They also checked in with each other to compare notes and offer encouragement.

It also so happened that a day came when Kee-Ra was astonished to find his human, MEREDITH fully engaged in her new MORNING ROUTINE (a “light” version of the DragonBustR 3-Rs as she was easing into it…).

Let’s listen in to find out WHAT. HAPPENS. NEXT.

INT. MEREDITH’S HOUSE

KEE-RA TEXT
Dude… Where ya at?

He has pinged his pal, RC the GREMLIN / STORYTELLER and then is quietly pacing with one eye on his human. Then…

RC TEXT
Sup, Dogg! LOL!

Kee-Ra shakes his head.

KEE-RA
He always says that… So silly!

KEE-RA TEXT
Got Time to Talk ABOUT TIME?

There’s a pause … Then a reply.

RC TEXT
Uh… Sure… When?

KEE-RA
Today… after Mama gets into her TCB routine.

[TCB = Takin’ Care of Business; now BTO will take over your brain… LOL! –the Editors/GANG]

RC TEXT
Copy that… Ping me.

KEE-RA
Will do!

It just so happened that RC was “doing the town” so to speak (on the WESTSIDE of Santa Cruz) which included briefly hanging out with the elusive WONDER / WANDER Kat MR SQUEEK. And it also happened that they had parted ways near the BECKMANN’s HQ.

RC THE GREMLIN
I wonder if…?

Aha! Wonder if…?

Before the question was articulated, he saw his chance.

RC THE GREMLIN
Perfect! I’ll just hitch a ride and then we can do our Talk in person. Way cool.

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. WORLD OF JOY – KEE-RA’S ‘HOOD

And now the action shifts to OVER-THE-HILL where after a series of stops RC manages to arrive in Kee-Ra’s neighborhood (AKA THE WORLD OF JOY).

He smiles as he checks time on his RAZR.

RC THE GREMLIN
He’ll be pinging any minute now… maybe… from the stoop I’m guessing… out of sight… out of ears… his Mama won’t be disrupted…

So RC trots along and finds a convenient tree to “see his eyes” IF what he thought WAS true.

RC THE GREMLIN
Perfect!

KEE-RA TEXT
Hey, Buddy! Is now good?

PAUSE.

Noting the lack of response, there’s a shift in Kee-Ra’s energy. Initially bouncing up and down with eagerness, he “slows his roll” so to speak.

KEE-RA
Darn… Maybe he’s off on… Another adventure… but…

Then a voice gets his attention.

Sup, Dogg?!

RC THE GREMLIN
Sup, Dogg?!

Kee-Ra looks up and sees that RC is right in front of him. RC reaches out for a FIST/PAW Bump …

KEE-RA
Wow!! You’re like actually here! …How’d ya…?

RC THE GREMLIN
Connections my friend… connections…

Kee-Ra nods.

KEE-RA
Cool or as our Katie says… COOL BEANS!

RC THE GREMLIN
A walkabout, shall we??

KEE-RA
Actually… that would be great. Mama is on another ZOOM so she won’t be looking for me anytime soon.

So while looping the ‘hood, Kee-Ra unleashed what was on his mind.

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. KEE-RA’S NEIGHBORHOOD

RC THE GREMLIN
About time… ??

KEE-RA
Yes… about time…

RC THE GREMLIN
What about Time, my friend…?

KEE-RA
Well… to start… there’s the TIMER thingie Mama has…

RC THE GREMLIN
Digital or Dial?

KEE-RA
Huh?

RC THE GREMLIN
Just curious which generation… but don’t let me… go ahead… continue…

KEE-RA
Digital… looks like she’s got it set to twenty-two…

DBRs Timer…

RC THE GREMLIN
Ah… 22 minutes. Yes, and…?

KEE-RA
Well… she’ll write for… that 22 and then… I’ve seen her press the START button… and read for another 22.

RC THE GREMLIN
Yes, and…

KEE-RA
Twenty-two… seems to fit perfectly… She finishes and then is full of energy to do this…

RC THE GREMLIN
Walk-feets through the Hood?

KEE-RA
Yeah… But… how did she get to the 22 ? Seems…

RC THE GREMLIN
A bit odd… indeed. Something our Katie had implemented for her OWN journey… her DragonBustR adventures.

They continue to walk. Noticing trees and flowers. Waving to others. Before long, another bubble up.

KEE-RA
Tell me about… types… You said Dial timer?

RC THE GREMLIN
Well… when she was first testing this theory of blocking time to wRite and Read, dial timers were common… and some actually have a silent “TICK-TICK=TICKING” … She started off with the Dial… and believe it or not, 22 is merely because when she hand set it, she never could get it exactly on 20. 22 became her “close enough.”

I guess… Yeah… I could see that. Makes sense.

RC THE GREMLIN
So here’s what else I observed… Sometimes Katie would be on a roll… words flowing… images getting sketched… and then she’d look at the timer, and then over to her clock — and then she’d dial it back to add more time.

KEE-RA
Oh? More time…?

RC THE GREMLIN
She didn’t want to STOP and doing the math, she reasoned with herself that SHE could “Keep On” for a bit more.

KEE-RA
My turn… Yes, and…?

RC THE GREMLIN
She was MORE energized for her client work… actually early to the calls she had to be on… like super-duper efficient, and…

Jumps up and down.

KEE-RA
Happier! Mama is Happier… I’ve seen it!!

RC THE GREMLIN
Ah… Like… Happier because she’s already adopted and incorporated DragonBustRs into the FLO of her day… ?

Kee-Ra continues to jump around excitedly.

RC THE GREMLIN
That’s a great thing!! Katie’ll be stoked!

KEE-RA
By the way… The digital one is the TIMER I’ve seen…

RC THE GREMLIN
You can do the same thing… press the START button again and keep going… it’s just… for Katie, the dexterity of it… the process of dialing it back for more time… THAT was an energizing move… But then again… she’s a hands-on person.

DragonBustRs HEART the TIMER…

Kee-Ra nods and they walk along NOW hitting the Main Street that has shops and eateries.

RC THE GREMLIN
Ah… Smells good.

KEE-RA
Lunch prep underway.

RC points.

RC THE GREMLIN
Pizza?

KEE-RA
Yeah… little individual size… one and done…

RC THE GREMLIN
Random fact for 200…

KEE-RA
Huh?

RC THE GREMLIN
Your trail pal… our Lady Katie… KNOWS how to toss pizza.

…She’s a tosser!!

KEE-RA
For real?

RC THE GREMLIN
Yeah… and get this… or stash this for future reference…

KEE-RA
Uh… okay…

RC THE GREMLIN
She used to toss pizza on Friday and Saturday nights at a small place across the street from her apartment…

KEE-RA
When…? Like after leaving Corporate?

RC THE GREMLIN
Ha! While transitioning… Keeping the corporate revenue flowing while picking up … as she says “marketable skills”… people gotta eat…

KEE-RA
Using her hands brought happiness, yes?

RC THE GREMLIN
Like she’d get that dough spinning… like a floppy frisbee. Fun to watch… and as she got happier outside the office, the momentum carried inside… she played more… got her work done and was respectful and all… but you had a feeling…

KEE-RA
Feeling… work was Joy?

RC THE GREMLIN
Definitely no longer Hell like the Matt Groening book she kept in the office.

Katie’s GoTo back in the day…

As they cross one street RC looks over and sees a truck approaching. He waves and motions –pointing to an open slot on the street.

KEE-RA
You know that guy…?

RC THE GREMLIN
That’s my ride back over the hill. You good?

KEE-RA
Yeah…

RC THE GREMLIN
It’s ABOUT TIME for you to get back to the stoop my friend.

KEE-RA
Thanks for MAKING TIME to hang today.

Pulling out his RAZR, he shows RC.

KEE-RA
Just sayin… 22 minutes EXACTLY. How ’bout that?

RC THE GREMLIN
Right?

RC hops into the BECKMANN’s truck, and as it breezes past Kee-Ra, he shouts out.

RC THE GREMLIN
KOKO !!

KEE-RA
KOKO YOURSELF !!

And so it was that former Suit KATIE had an opportunity to turn the tables on her GEAR GUY husband. Curious?
Well, to pull it off, she had to snag a delivery before he came back from an excursion and then she raced over to CAT & CLOUD to unbox along with giving it a test drive.
Let’s listen in for WHAT. HAPPENS. NEXT. –The Gang.

FADE IN:

INT. CAT & CLOUD

Katie arrives at the cafe with the box under her arm, Zojirushi DBRs Thermos in one hand and her ever-present SATCHEL-PAK on her back.

Looking around, she doesn’t see Happy Barista / Uber Driver KIMBA, so she pays for her NIGHT SHIFT “fill-er-up” and then settles in at the VIV TABLE (AKA stander) that is unoccupied (and of the perfect height for her little project, BTW).

She unboxes and sets on the table top two RIDGE POWER BANKs. One is an olive green colour and the other is orange.

KATIE INTERNAL
I’ll let him choose… or NOT…

Doing a sort of mental “Eeny, meeny, miny, moe” — she goes with the olive green for testing.

KATIE
Feels good!

She says out loud and then looks around.

KATIE INTERNAL
Whoops! I gotta remember where I am. Anyway… Let’s see if they shipped it with some juice… Reaching into her SATCHEL PAK, she produces a RAZR phone.

Team Phone…

[Note: This is the team phone – a style that works for WONDER/WANDER (WANDER/WONDER) Kat, MR SQUEEK and RC the GREMLIN / STORYTELLER and their over the hill pal, Happy Puppy KEE-RA and also… KIMBA. Funny too as they all have DragonBustR sticker– hard to tell the phones apart if you were to throw them on the table. But that’s a story for another day. Let’s continue –The Gang (AKA storytellers)]

On the top of the Power Bank is access to two cable/connectors: a “C” style (think ANDROID) and old school THUNDERBOLT style (think APPLE)

KATIE INTERNAL
Ah… Key selling point. Built-in cables… He should dig this.

Plugging in, the BANK shows a digital display with a percentage number.

KATIE INTERNAL
Well… some juice… 14% is good enough to test. Now for the bonus round…

Katie reaches back into her PAK and extracts her little iPHONE.

KATIE INTERNAL
Well … You can do two at once but it is sucking down the BANK… Cool though…

Just then Katie feels a breeze and looks up as her friend Kimba rushes over to help a customer who is struggling with the door. Turning around, she sees Katie and smiles. Walking up to the VIV TABLE and observing the setup, her curious mind kicks into gear.

KIMBA
Hey you! When’d you sneak in?

Katie laughs.

KATIE
I was about to ask you the same question…

KIMBA
Dealing with stuff in the back. Deliveries… getting organized…

KATIE
All good?

KIMBA
Good enough to take a break and see what you’re up to… And that is…? A gift from your Gear Guy?

Olive or Orange…?

KATIE
Better…

KIMBA
Oh?

…A gift FOR him… well, us and… if this experiment works well…

KATIE
A gift FOR him… well, us and… if this experiment works well…

Katie lets Kimba study the setup.

KIMBA
Can I…?

KATIE
Sure!

She unplugs the iPhone and then reaches for the RAZR. Pausing to study them side-by-side, she unplugs and then feels the POWER BANK in her hands.

KIMBA
Solid! Nice size. Built-in cables. Multi-functional… what’s not to like?

KATIE
Right? Still… my guy has high standards and is not easily impressed.

KIMBA
Tough audience… I get it.

KATIE
Fashion risk, I know… but the reviewer I saw online… got me stoked to give it a try.

Kimba points to the “C” connector on the bottom.

KATIE
Allegedly a two-way … and with the right cable, the speed is supposed to be fantastical…

KIMBA
Right cable, eh? I have one under the counter. You know… our pals run around with their RAZRs… all fun and games until…

KATIE
Yeah… I heard. Cable challenged they are too.

KIMBA
Interesting.

KATIE
The way I see it… It’s compact and multi-functional. You can always bring ONE “C” for speed… instead of that big ZIPLOC he drags along on his trips… Easy-peasy.

KIMBA
Makes sense… So what’s the circle thingie?

KATIE
A bonus! It’s for wireless charging. The reviewer and also the company’s website shows it with an Apple Watch. Was going to bring his old one to test but…

KIMBA
Old one probably not compatible. Got it.

While Katie is talking, she pulls her SLABBY THING out of her Satchel-Pak and loads the company’s website.

KATIE
See?
Kimba glances at the web page and then continues to play with the PowerBank.

KIMBA
Cool that you get a readout of how much battery is left.

KATIE
Sure beats the blinking dots on the ANKER bank.

Ridge vs. Anker…

KIMBA
I’ll take your word for it. I just use a cable under the counter for a little boost. Its got one of those USB-A plugs.

KATIE
I’m thinking we hit all the check boxes for him with the exception of… How long for the RE-UP… to get to 100%?

Kimba nod and then points.

KIMBA
Two?

KATIE
His and Hers… Plus, they were having a deal when you buy two so…

KIMBA
Gotcha… So, when you springing it on him?

KATIE
Tonight maybe… got a date night penciled in. Pending when he gets back from today’s adventure, it could be a go.

KIMBA
Looks like a winner… And speaking of “GO” … aren’t you due for your WALK-FEETS? I imagine … play time is in order, yes?

Katie smiles and nods, as she begins to pack up.

Kimba picks up the OLIVE power bank and points to the counter.

KIMBA
How ‘bout leaving it with me… Let’s see how much JUICE it obtains in the amount of time of your walk.

KATIE
That’s a great idea!

[EPILOGUE]

And so it was that Katie stowed the shipping box and packaging in her trunk and bounded her way towards the sea with her Satchel-Pak strapped on her back.

Looking around, there’s some hesitation.

KATIE
I feel like… Something’s missing….

She shrugs her shoulders and then continues.

Meanwhile… Back at the C&C, Kimba is moving about wiping tables and tidying up.
She is especially bouncy as the music playing has put a huge smile on her face.

It ain’t my fault that I’m out here making news
I’m the pudding in the proof
Gotta blame it on my juice…

Kimba tucks the thermos under the counter next to the PowerBank and what looks like a clear plastic box (her magnet collection).

Before she could get started, Meredith made a detour to the kitchen to grab a granola bar and some coffee while perusing headlines on her iPad.

MEREDITH INTERNAL
Gotta deal with the rumbly before I can truly focus.

Happy Puppy KEE-RA is admiring just out-of-sight, as to not distract “his Mama”.

KEE-RA
Can’t muck with her FLO. That… would be bad.

Looking down at his RAZR, he sees a message from his pal RC the GREMLIN / STORYTELLER.

Ponderable SNAP-kin…

He smiles and moves a little further away, so he can reply.

KEE-RA
No doubt! She seems PURPOSEFUL this day. Will observe and follow-up.

He notices now that she’s settled into writing in her PERSONAL JOURNAL… Her “Musings” as written, can actually be heard (Kee-Ra’s Astro Boy ears).

MEREDITH’S MUSINGS
That was a good day for sure. Was helpful to hear out loud … things I’ve been working through… Stimulated by TAW and talking to Katie.

Oh… and Kee-Ra has been a great listener too. Got an earful of my Crayola thinking… Helped me… a lot.

Now… a got CORE things to ponder and some loops to close.

On our drive about, Katie pointed to a Palm tree — a thriving one that had a magnificent core. Encouraging me to “memorize my eyes” — she made a point — taking it beyond the TAW Zooms and Julia’s book — BUILD YOUR CORE!

Build Your Core…

She has a point as I think about that PALM… trunk as core… solid! It also has some kind of natural barrier — similar to roses with thorns — so I guess, you build the core and nobody can “get to you” or rather — you can smile at those who try… #whatevs.

That’s when she reminded me that DRAGONS will come out of the woodwork, so to speak, to try to throw me (or anyone on a journey) off the path — STAY STRONG.

At this point, Meredith stands to stretch and notices her pal Kee-Ra relaxing in the corner with one eye on her.

MEREDITH
Mornin’ Pal! Did I wake you?

KEE-RA
Nah! But you got my attention… made me curious… Writing up a storm there in that JOURNAL thingie, yes?

MEREDITH
Yes, indeed. Our Katie had some sage counsel the other day… and I guess… point being that this MUSINGs thing… deliberately … purposefully and consistently, is a key for…

Kee-Ra has hopped up on a chair to glance at Meredith’s Musings.

KEE-RA
Palm Tree? Arrow pointing to … Ah… The CORE discussion you had?

MEREDITH

KEE-RA

MEREDITH

He points to the book on the table.

MEREDITH
One of her many talents. She says this one… resonated with her and helped her… many breakthroughs… things stimulated. Pondered. Mused about. Acted on. REPEAT.

KEE-RA
Ah… I think so… RC mentioned a big time breakthrough… It’s how Katie FLO-d into… the whole: AWARE. ACCEPT. ADAPT. thing…

Then Kee-Ra starts jumping up and down, making the DING! motion –imitating an antenna on the top of his head.

MEREDITH
Uh… What, Buddy, What?

KEE-RA
See my eyes how the PALM TREE fits… FLEX-N-FLO… after the three As: AWARE. ACCEPT. ADAPT.

How it started…

Meredith has a puzzled look.

KEE-RA
It’s okay Mama… Rome wasn’t built in a day and as we both learned recently: THIS. TAKES. TIME.

Takes. Time. An Evolution…

MEREDITH
Right… Something about the JEEP… counting the years and…

…ENJOYING the PROCESS… The DAILY DISCIPLINED Rs… and then what HAPPENS… HAPPENS…

KEE-RA
ENJOYING the PROCESS… The DAILY DISCIPLINED Rs… and then what HAPPENS… HAPPENS.

Now she reaches for the book and taps the TIMER. Kee-Ra nods and quietly disappears down the hall.

Magical “22” FOCUS time…

Indeed. For now… Meredith is definitely on a roll and Happy Puppy Kee-Ra is truly committed in helping her stay on track.

After exiting the ZOOM, she stood up and stretched while Kee-Ra silently observed. She looks in his direction and they both silently nod — heading for the front door to get some air… and also, perhaps AIR IT OUT…

EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD (WORLD OF JOY)

They hit the sidewalk and bounce along. After a block or so, Kee-Ra gets things started.

KEE-RA
So, Mama… was that a WRAP?

MEREDITH
Yes and No… Feels like just the beginning…

KEE-RA
Beginning? Like … Casablanca when they walk off into the fog?

A smile comes across her face…

MEREDITH
Yes, my perceptive Pal. That is a perfect way to visualize it…

They walk some more. Smiling and greeting others doing their early evening routine.

…You’ve changed, Mama. I sense… Calmness?

KEE-RA

She continues to smile.

I wrote about it recently in my MUSINGS… My world as a Suit – black and white… Stark. Not much in the way of even shades of grey… Ya march along…getting things done… Your perceived DUTY is to stay on track… a track set by bosses, clients, etc.

KEE-RA
Sounds kinda GRIM.

MEREDITH
Good word. That sense of duty propels you along. And not really knowing of anything else or rather any WAY else, you do what you gotta do… Grinding through TASKS. Meeting deadlines.

KEE-RA
Then… rinse – repeat. Day in. Day out… I gotcha. But… what’s this Crayola thing of which you speak?

MEREDITH
When we were kids… the throw-down to keep us entertained… paper and something to draw with — like pencils and eventually … you’d get handed … I think … 8-pack of crayons. Suddenly, there’s an option to DRAW. IN. COLOR.

KEE-RA
Ah! So…?

MEREDITH
Well… 8-vs-1… So many options. There’s joy, of course… and then, a choice… Lots of choices. So early on, we get exposed to choices.

KEE-RA
So Crayola-izing … Choices?

MEREDITH
Yes, and… really… having WONDERFUL OPTIONS brings energy into your world… Inspiring… it is… Can’t quite…

KEE-RA
That’s okay, Mama. I think I understand… KATIE, my trail pal… She’s… my Crayola. So is…

Looking over, Kee-Ra sees FINN-FINN out with his human and gives a wave.

MEREDITH
Your Pals from the hood, like FINNY over there… Yup! You do understand.

KEE-RA
The gang at JEDEMI… Crayolas too!

MEREDITH
Ah… Yes and…

They walk another block while Meredith thinks out her thoughts.

KEE-RA
What, Mama, what?

MEREDITH
That reminded me of THIRD PLACE… Something Katie mentioned when we started meeting up at JEDEMI. She said back in the day, IT was her THIRD PLACE… the owner VIV welcomed her with open arms — she made everyone feel welcome and… connected.

KEE-RA
Connected?

MEREDITH
Katie said Viv would introduce you to others and… hand you books that… fit perfectly to whatever the situation you were in…

KEE-RA
Ah… But… THIRD PLACE?

MEREDITH
Marketing people have… very much found a way to attach the concept… the label to STARBUCKS… But Katie told me… her CONNECTION was related to a FEEL after her Euro adventure which sparked even more studies of the creativity that FLO-d in Europe 20s, 30s, 40s…

Just then, growling sounds can be heard.

KEE-RA
That’s me.

MEREDITH
Uh… That’s me!

They laugh.

KEE-RA
We’re both… hungry… Better get on back. Can’t be falling over… I know you.

MEREDITH
Perceptive as always. KATSU CURRY CHICKEN CB… I can smell it already.

KEE-RA
And I can smell that… Comfort Bowl ya got tailored for me… So let’s focus on getting home safely…

MEREDITH
Pick-em-up. Put-em-down. Gotcha!

KEE-RA
Then, if you feel like elaborating on this THIRD PLACE thing, fine BUT honestly, hit it in the AM or whenever… I’ll remind you…

MEREDITH
Thanks, Pal. You’re the best! Now please to lead on!

And they trotted their way towards home.

Mr Squeek makes the DING! sign extending his fingers to look like an ANTENNA and nods. Pointing to Kee-Ra, he addresses RC.

My sources told me… you had some DING!-ing going on during a CREEK TRAIL JAUNT with LADY KATIE…

RC looks over at Kee-Ra who nods.

And you… RC as Storyteller… er Gremlin… Over at Jedemi, were you there when NEW OWNER gifted LADY KATIE a first draft of TAMING OF THE CHEF.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Well aware of it, I am. Something she wrote years ago…

MR SQUEEK
Well… I had an objective back in my JEDEMI DOORKAT days to get our former Suit to … DRAW…
I said, DRAW ME A MANGA… and was thinking FINN-FINN…

RC THE STORYTELLER
FINN-FINN as a MANGA story?

Hand on chin, he ponders while Mr Squeek continues.

MR SQUEEK
Would’ve been cool… But what you guys did… How you “collabed” was like… IMPRESSIVE…

RC THE STORYTELLER
That was a fun series… @TheSEA visitors… great audience… helped for sure!

KEE-RA
You guys did it justice… Your storytelling got people curious about the original story as CREATED by our neighborhood STORYTELLER, Carol Pollard… People come by all the time…

Kee-Ra points to a house.

KEE-RA
Kinda… Something mystical-magical happened and copies … LAY-FLATs are on that porch — in a CLEAR SWEATER box…

RC THE STORYTELLER

KEE-RA
Nah! To protect her privacy, the box is on another porch… a neighbor who travels a lot. We keep an eye on things.

MR SQUEEK
That’s cool… but let me finish and you guys can talk about ‘HOOD THINGs and DING!THINGs and whatever else tickles your fancy.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Gotcha, Pal…

Kee-Ra nods and Mr Squeek continues.

MR SQUEEK
Where was I… oh yeah… The TAMING OF THE CHEF story… a great project for both of you… Talk it up on the trail Kee-Ra. Please and thank-you.

KEE-RA

MR SQUEEK
And you Mr RC… in whatever form factor / shape you choose… Let’s keep a nice PENTEL ENER-GEL nearby for paper sketching AND, for sure, that SLABBY THING…

RC THE STORYTELLER

There’s a slight delay before he answers.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Ah! Now I remember… from JEDEMI and another venture of VIV’s… She hearted the BECKMANN’s… old world bread…

KEE-RA
Yum-Yum??

RC THE STORYTELLER
Waffled Sandwiches… The best and then weekly POP-UPs she’d host…

Kee-Ra, head tilted, as he visualizes.

RC THE STORYTELLER
I don’t get it… So how is… this … related to returning to the WESTSIDE?

MR SQUEEK
They are based in SANTA CRUZ and deliver direct to store. Your corner market… if you time it right…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Ah! Stow away… Get back to BECKMANN HQ and then…

MR SQUEEK
Your choice… HITCH or UBER…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Sure… Got HAPPY BARISTA/UBER DRIVER KIMBA on the speed dial…

As he shows his RAZR to Kee-Ra, Mr Squeek makes his exit.

KEE-RA
And just like that…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Vanishing… That’s how he do…

And from a block or so away, in the wind they hear…

MR SQUEEK
KOKO!

Again, Kee-Ra gives the head tilt.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Means KEEP ON KEEPIN’ ON… KOKO…

KEE-RA
Oh… Right… I know that…

Guess we need should circle back on the DING!THING and creating environments conducive to…

KEE-RA
Yeah… leverage our time and ponder relevant stories and…

He reaches behind a planter near the stoop and produces a sign: BRB !!

In case Mama comes looking. Don’t want her worrying.

They then bounce down the steps and disappear…

INT. FOSTER JEEP
The content foursome had returned and were just about to buckle up for another adventure, when former Suit KATIE sees something unusual.

KATIE
What’s that in the ash tray?

MEREDITH
Ash tray? Huh??

Katie points to a wire coming from the Jeep’s cassette deck and attached to a little square device.

iPod Nano??

KATIE
Whoa… a cute little Nano!

MEREDITH
A what??

In the back of the Jeep, both Happy Puppy, KEE-RA and pal RC the GREMLIN are leaning forward to see.

KEE-RA
Mama… Isn’t that where… the little BLACK MP3 player used to be?

MEREDITH
You’re right, buddy. Works the same way by using the earphone jack to hook into the Jeep’s sound system.

Looks over at Katie.

MEREDITH
Works great by the way. It’s inside getting charged for our next Duckin’ adventure.

KATIE
Ah! I forgot about that… The ROLL’EM experiment…

She reaches over to study the iPod Nano more closely.

So tiny…!

KATIE
So tiny! I have a “BABY DRIVER” third gen with a cool wheel. Think it’s like a 2 by 3. This one I’m guessing is less than 2 square. Very cool!

Baby Driver meets Nano…

MEREDITH
New to me… my eyes.

She looks back at Kee-Ra who shakes his head.

MEREDITH

Huh…  I wonder how it…?

Before she can finish her sentence, Katie has pressed a button, and music can be heard. They both look at each other and smile before jumping out of the Jeep to “SHAKE THAT!” in the parking lot.  And while dancing up a storm,  RC notices something and nudges Kee-Ra.

RC THE GREMLIN
Look who’s here!

What they see is the WONDER / WANDER (WANDER / WONDER) Kat, MR SQUEEK, doing his break-dancing thing.

A Mr Squeek Hangout…

Katie scans in the direction RC is pointing and she smiles.

KATIE
Well there you go… Remember I told you about the BREAK DANCIN’ KAT… ICE CREAM on FAIR…

MEREDITH
Oh yeah… During my overnight… the walkabout.

KATIE
Well… here he is… Though… MYSTERIOUS and then… Oh well… It’s what Mr Squeek does…

MEREDITH
He can MOVE! You were right about that.

Squeek hearts tips…

As the song comes to an end, Mr Squeek takes a bow. Some folks walking by drop money into a HAT near a SATCHEL-PAK.

Satchel-PAK…

It’s an ultra lightweight KANGOL in SATCHEL-PAK (DBRs) Green.

RC THE GREMLIN
Dude… Your cap is bad ass.

KEE-RA
Me like!!

KATIE
Gotta admit… Nice touch.

And then a very familiar SOUND can be heard.

RC THE GREMLIN
The MUST AWAY timer has rung!

KATIE
Yup… Gotta jam back over the Hill before …

MEREDITH
We know the drill. We’ll get ya back to your wheels.

Meredith drops some money in Mr Squeek’s KANGOL. He nods.

MR SQUEEK
KOKO!

Eyebrow raised, Meredith looks over at Katie.

KATIE
KEEP ON KEEPIN’ ON … KOKO…

Keep On Keepin’ On…

KEE-RA
Yeah Mama… It’s a “Squeek Thing” but… he’ll let you use it…

They all laugh, then BUCKLE up and zip away.

Katie looks back and waves in the direction of Mr Squeek.

KATIE
Huh?? Where’d he go?

RC THE GREMLIN
No worries… Just another “Squeek-Thing.” Out having more adventures, most likely.

KATIE
Of course.

She fist bumps RC and Kee-Ra. The Nano plays on while Meredith focuses on the road ahead with a huge smile on her face.

Jeep Jukebox delivers…

JEEPIN JUKEBOX
Destination unknown
I left my job, my boss, my car and my home
I’m leaving for a destination I still don’t know

A destination unknown
Known-known-known-known…

And as they are bopping along, Kee-Ra nudges RC and points. Under a blanket on the floor of the back seat is… Mr Squeek. He holds his paw to his mouth – motioning “silence”. They both nod and then let the music FLOW THROUGH and AROUND them…

FADE OUT.

Pencils down…

So the story DID continue… Just less backstory on that whole “volution” thing. No worries. Just like a bouldering adventure (a proper off-road experience) is a slow-roll, so to speak. Buckle up and enjoy… the FLO… !

And so it was that while former Suit KATIE and Happy Puppy KEE-RA’s human, Suit-in-Transition MEREDITH were deep in conversation while waiting for the Jeep to get smogged, RC the GREMLIN /STORYTELLER leveraged the opportunity to elaborate on the whole “IT. TAKES. TIME.” concept.

They’ve found themselves a nice shade tree to relax under while keeping an eye on things.

RC THE GREMLIN
Okay… How does it look?

KEE-RA
We are the FARTHEST from their mind presently.

RC THE GREMLIN
Perfect! Let me give you… an orientation… overview sort of what I was talking about with the TAKES TIME thing.

KEE-RA
Uh… Okay. How do you…?

Before he could get the question out of his mouth, RC does a little RAZZLE-DAZZLE magician like waving of hands and a SLABBY THING appears.

Slabby thing…

RC THE GREMLIN
Ta-Da!!

KEE-RA
Is that…?

RC THE GREMLIN
SLABBY THING on… LOAN… Yeah, that’s it… a Loaner for this particular prOject.

KEE-RA
Okay… What you say… But since we don’t know how long they will be entertaining each other, let’s fire on through whatever you’ve got there…

RC THE GREMLIN
Fair enough. Take a look!

RC hands the SLABBY THING over and on it is a picture of a hand drawn…

KEE-RA
A MAP? Like a Treasure Map or something?

Kee-Ra is playing with stretching / growing the image and then dragging it about to see it “closer.”

RC THE GREMLIN
Not a Treasure Map per se… You can stop looking for an X…

KEE-RA
X-Marks the Spot like INDIANA JONES?

RC THE GREMLIN
Great scene, right? But …NO… What you have here is a scratched out in PEN timeline of Lady Katie’s Jeeps.

KEE-RA
Jeeps as in plural?

Now RC decides the time is right for SHAPESHIFT-ing — into his Storytelling persona.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Well, my friend… if you don’t mind, I’m going to hop into my storyteller persona because… LOTS of stories starting with…

He points to the three Jeeps on the DIAGRAM (NOT MAP).

…I couldn’t remember if we had talked about it… that the one you are FOSTERING is actually number three…

RC THE STORYTELLER
I couldn’t remember if we had talked about it… that the one you are FOSTERING is actually number three.

KEE-RA
Wow! So first in ‘93 and then… TX ‘97, what’s that all about?

The Austin Jeep…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Well… Part of Katie’s journey took her from SILICON VALLEY to AUSTIN, TEXAS.

It was supposed to be an interim [slash] temporary deal … which it actually was but for an entirely different reason.

Kee-Ra nods.

KEE-RA
Heard good things about AUSTIN, but… to leave CA?? Even temporarily… the reason would have to be…

RC jumps in.

RC THE STORYTELLER
An amazing opportunity … one of those… DREAM scenarios…

Letting the words soak into Kee-Ra’s brain, RC pauses and then continues.

RC THE STORYTELLER
She had been chosen to run the company’s CALL CENTER in IRELAND after an “immersive [slash] intensive” TRAINING period in AUSTIN, where the company was based.

Raised eyebrows, Kee-Ra pauses slightly and then chimes in.

KEE-RA
So… Company PAID? Living ABROAD? Wow! That’s quite a…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Gift and serendipitous one at that. You see… during this phase of her journey, she had been deep into her studies of IRISH STORY TELLING… which just so happened to be her area of focus at that point in her JOURNEY… How IRISH SAVED CIVILIZATION… ROAN INISH… THE COMMITTMENTS… INTO THE WEST… She was SPONGE-ZORBING all things IRISH… Dabbling in JOYCE too, through she found Sylvia Beach WAY more interesting…

KEE-RA
WOW!! Okay… sorry. We can drill down another time. Noted that Jeep #1 was born in 1993 and … apparently stayed in TEXAS…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Traded for Jeep #2… Obtained out of … NEED. You see… heck you already know… HERE… air conditioning in a vehicle … especially one with the TOP DOWN most of the time, IS. NOT. NECESSARY.

KEE-RA
True. Around here… natural air conditioning plus, RAINY SEASON is usually winter when it’s cold, so the Jeep would be fully buttoned up.

RC THE STORYTELLER
You got it… In the Bay area it’s warm with top down or cold and buttoned up.
And then there’s TEXAS weather — rain year round and weirdness like warm one day and HAIL the next.

KEE-RA
Yucko! I’m imagining a hot rainy day in Texas… Forced to button-up so … it was like… driving inside a steamy, sweaty baggie. Yikes!!

RC THE GREMLIN
Yup! You nailed it. That’s what she said. PLUS… sheepskin seat covers were the rage back then. If those get wet… say from a sudden downpour…

KEE-RA
Sponge-Jeep PLUS … Stinky.

Pauses to shake the image out of his mind.

KEE-RA
Gotcha… Image now erased… The Cali-Jeep swapped for an Austin-born Jeep. And then… after training, someone down there FOSTERED?

Not exactly… IRELAND never happened.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Not exactly… IRELAND never happened.

KEE-RA
Really?

RC THE STORYTELLER
A shame too… but her little company … let’s just say… they poked the BEAR, and then…

Shakes his head.

KEE-RA
What happened…? Short version please…

RC THE STORYTELLER

I feel a circle back moment is coming…

KATIE
I know that at SOME POINT it hit me and… I came up with a way… MY WAY… to do quote/unquote PAGES…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Ah… So…?

KATIE
THAT’s how MORNING MUSINGS were born … found little 5×7 lined JOURNAL notebooks … 100 pages for free-flow enjoyment!

RC THE STORYTELLER
Yes, and…? The pencil…?

KATIE
Right? As in… felt RIGHT to WRITE in pencil… conducive for drawing too and FLOs well…

RC THE STORYTELLER
So… Mechanical?

KATIE
Random, but … mechanical fits perfectly inside that 5×7… Didn’t muck my eyes.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Yes, and… No sharpening required and definitely NOT a WORK UTENSIL.

KATIE
Got that right… Not the company furnished BICs and CLICKY ballpoints…

She smiles and motions for him to lend her his RAZR.

KATIE
Hang on… I wanna check something out.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Okay… it’s… cool and all… What’s this got to do with your PRUFROCK rant? Please to Enlighten me.

KATIE
Derailed again! You know I do that, so… Thanks for the nudge…
I was exposed to PRUFROCK in high school.

RC THE STORYTELLER
ENGLISH LIT class?

She smiles.

KATIE
After school sports actually…

He gives her a look.

KATIE
You… were in early stages of development so I don’t expect you to remember, but… I went out for CROSS COUNTRY… the team because I heard that the BASKETBALL COACH was assistant coach and since I was hell-bent on being the next PISTOL PETE, figured visibility would help…

RC THE STORYTELLER

He motions as though holding the FAST FORWARD button on a REMOTE.

KATIE
The first day of practice started in the classroom… a session that included the reading of PRUFROCK. Coach was making a point… heck he taught us about EXISTENTIALISM… that whole DO I DARE? Framing our running as a decision… a choice…

She stops and then does her best to recall.

KATIE
Time for decisions and revisions that … a minute will reverse…

Pondering some more.

KATIE
And… do I DARE disturb the universe?

RC THE STORYTELLER
A challenge then?

KATIE
Well… It was clear or rather in retrospect… what he was trying to do, besides set the tone, was establish that our ability to improve as athletes would come from within… from decisions we made … from rising to the challenges we give ourselves… He’d get us ready… technique and strategy but… From Day 1, the onus was on each of us…
Think about that…

RC THE STORYTELLER
As a high schooler?? So, what like 14 years old? Your future. Your choice?

…Not just doing what you’re told… but embracing the WHY …

KATIE
Not just doing what you’re told… but embracing the WHY as in Why do what you do…
Understanding and internalizing and… honestly… to be successful there was a bit of… let’s call it… lifestyle changes were required.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Meaning…

KATIE
Once a day is good. Twice a day is better. It was my introduction to before school runs… logging miles he called it… building up endurance.

RC THE STORYTELLER
And discipline… EVERY day?

KATIE
Not SATURDAY race day or … most Sundays we’d go once for recovery. It became a ROUTINE that we grew into and learned to enjoy as we’d have a lot more energy than the rest of the students dragging themselves to homeroom.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Ah, so PRUFROCKed early in life made it easier to adapt the disciplined approach to the PAGES thing?

KATIE
I kinda think… Yeah as I’m pre-wired for disciplined approach to the point that…

RC THE STORYTELLER
OMG you’ve filled a LOT of JOURNALS… to the point that you evolved your DragonBustR Framework philosophy thingie.

KATIE
You got it. But for real… preparing the mind. Being open to experiences… a DO I DARE choice that becomes … don’t gag …ACTIONABLE…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Suitable…

He laughs…

KATIE
Of course… Just remember I’m much better at SLIPPING those SUIT jabs now…

She points to him.

KATIE
Circling back… Let’s call it do-able a throwback to NIKE’s JUST DO IT merged with Coach’s simplification of the task at hand… Pick-em-Up and Put-em down.

RC THE STORYTELLER
I think I understand.

Katie starts to laugh.

RC THE STORYTELLER
And that’s funny to you… that I understand?

KATIE
Settle down… I just remembered something and then… Saw my eyes something else.

He relaxes.

RC THE STORYTELLER
I knew that… please to share.

KATIE
We PRUFROCKed hills… during races… And thinking of it… me and Happy Puppy KEE-RA do our share of PRUFROCKing hills too… that’s what made me laugh.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Oh–kay…

KATIE
It was… suggested that we make up our minds… DARE… to take off when we reach the top of a hill. Others would be pooped out. If we push…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Pick-em-Up and Put-em down…

KATIE
With our minds made up … A— It would hurt less and B— We’d get separation from our opponents… creating a discouraging gap.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Which really made it hurt less, right? … so Kee-Ra… the connection?

KATIE
We’ve got a ROCKY hill… Get to the top — Yo! We did it! Arms in the air thing… But thinking of it… probably out of habit… we continue onto the roadway a bit and then turn around and do the ROCKY thing as we head back.

RC THE STORYTELLER
So you got Kee-Ra PRUFROCKing?

KATIE
He’s a natural.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Of course. Now to borrow a line from one of your favorite movies… “Where’s this going to lead…?”

She pauses before responding

KATIE
RAZOR’S EDGE… Nice touch…

They continue walking while she formulates her response.

KATIE
Well… Two things I believe… The pragmatic has mostly been addressed as BOTH Meredith and Kimba have JOURNAL “kits” with pencil and spare leads and the PAK.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Which means…?

KATIE
Do I dare suggest… Establishing a ROUTINE… Like making it… a disciplined part of their morning START-U-UP… ?

RC THE STORYTELLER
Could work… establish a mindset. And that conversation could begin with a story about… an existential poem that changed your world, right?

KATIE
Something like that.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Gotta… do it in person. Don’t be sending a link or ZOOMing… Do this…

KATIE
Walk-Feets-by-the-Sea…

RC THE STORYTELLER
It’s the best, agree?

They fist bump.

KATIE
Hungry now.

RC THE STORYTELLER
I know… Like falling over or…

KATIE
KIND BAR quick energy and then let’s scope the DAY OLDS at BAGELRY.

RC THE GREMLIN
Split a SCRAMBAGEL with ya!

KATIE
That’s even better.

She reached into her PAK and remove the KIND BAR.

KATIE
Please to share…

Welcome to another Yosh! post!

And so it happened as Katie gets “Prufrocked” — a flashback-to-flash-forward putting existential front-of-mind, in the context of that ARTIST’S WAY. So Let’s us go then, you and I… —The Gang

Note: We introduced “Yosh” in the post.

The Japanese word “Yosh” is used in manga to convey, “Alright, let’s go!” Or as they say in Katie’s household: “Go means go!”

Above is a short clip that says what we’re saying (and demonstrating): For sure, “yosh” is spontaneous and energetic—a verbal burst of enthusiasm or resolve. We believe if you embrace the DragonBustR Way and it becomes a Way of Life (interwoven), you may find yourself bursting with enthusiasm and resolve.

Now on with the story!

Former Suit KATIE has been doing a lot of thinking lately about how it** all began. Perhaps triggered from listening to her trail pal, Happy Puppy KEE-RA’s human — the Suit-in-Transition MEREDITH’s challenges related to THE ARTIST’S WAY she’s work-shopping.

[We apologize if you had to read that a couple of times. That’s a lot to take in! -ed]

So this particular morning, we find Katie up in her office… fingers-a-flying as she’s got something on her mind. Let’s listen in…

** meaning her version of “The Hero’s Journey.”

INT. KATIE’S WESTSIDE HOUSE

Katie has been typing away with MOZART FOR YOUR MIND playing in the background at a “gentle” volume.

Stopping to stretch, she circles back to re-read (and ponder) the topic at hand.

KATIE INTERNAL
So weird that… Prufrock popped into my head while I was running.

DO I DARE?

A “blast-from-the-past” Prufrock!!

DO I DARE?

I had to do a rewind… like way back… to my first exposure to the magic of T.S. Eliot and that’s when… I got on this particular RANT-FLO.

Staring at her screen it is silent… and then a smile comes on her face as she turns in the direction of…

KATIE
Greetings, my Pal. How many mugs of 4a are ya into so far today?

She’s talking to her pal RC the GREMLIN / RC the STORYTELLER.

RC THE GREMLIN
Who me? Just got here.
For real….

He holds up his RAZR phone.

RC THE GREMLIN
The GP was to just slip in and get this bad boy on the charger (points to Katie’s) because… Dang if I know what happened to mine…

Smiling, she quips.

KATIE
I “C”… (laughs)…
Get it See and C as in Charger… C-cable needed and…

RC rolls his eyes.

RC THE GREMLIN
OMG… Really?

But Katie… Keeps on.

KATIE
I know… most likely our WONDER / WANDER (WANDER / WONDER) pal, MR SQUEEK borrowed it… I can “C” it happening … how your cable wandered off…

She pauses with hand-on-chin…

KATIE
Which makes me wonder where the wander slash wonder Kat is…
Have you seen ‘em… tell me have you seen ‘em?

She laughs some more.

RC THE GREMLIN
What the heck are you on about?

KATIE
Obscure music references… Yeah… just did that and… well… you arrived at a shift gears time for me…

RC THE GREMLIN
Now THAT makes sense because you are way too silly … Yet, when I first showed up, burning up the keyboard you were, so something…

KATIE
Had a burst of… Let’s call it… a TALE to TELL… so …

RC THE GREMLIN
TALE? For me? For… TheSEA?

KATIE
Uh… I’d say… Probably not… OR at least, not yet. It’s… in development.

RC looks a bit disappointed.

KATIE
Your storyteller side will have to…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Waiting is the hardest part.

Katie smiles and shakes her head.

KATIE
So… Ya shifted anyway?

RC THE STORYTELLER
Sure… Why not? I sense… Come on… A hint then… Pretty please?

KATIE
Well … how about… “ON BACKGROUND”…

RC THE STORYTELLER
ON BACKGROUND? First of all, YOU are no longer in the communications business … strategic marketing…

KATIE
Hey… Take the girl out of the business, but the business never gets taken out of the girl…
You should… well… your GREMLIN side knows that.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Note to Katie… NOTHING these days STAYS ON BACKGROUND… That being said, can you… Are you willing to…?

TELL-the-TALE to YOU? Sure! You asked politely and all. Plus, it’ll help me to hear it out-loud.

KATIE

RC THE STORYTELLER
Cool beans! Shall we… begin then… After I…

He hops over to plug in his RAZR. He looks over at her and furrows his brows.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Something’s … Hesitation, I sense… yes? I promise not to…

KATIE
It’s not that. Just… Well… I’ve hit that NEED TO STEP AWAY point…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Ah… thus the giddy behavior. Now I get it. Step… as in WALK FEETS?

Katie nods.

KATIE
Indeed.
This time RC is mirroring Katie’s hand-on-chin ponderment look.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Well… I just so happen to know FROM a reliable source that YOU have that special skill of being able to walk & TALK at the same time.
She smiles and nods…

KATIE
As long as I’m not in low blood sugar mode… Still well charged I am…

RC THE STORYTELLER
S’go-den!!

KATIE
Hang on… You just reminded me of something.

Katie picks up a box and throws it into her SATCHEL-PAK.

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. WEST CLIFF

They are walking and Katie seems revived as the sea air and the sounds of waves crashing the shore cast their spell on her.

KATIE
It’s been weird having to circle back to like 30 years ago… The summer of… Brazilians in LG.

RC THE STORYTELLER
The World Cup in the Bay Area. That’s right… Brazilians drumming in the park every night because they adopted your home town for their HQ.

KATIE
Yeah. I feel like I was doing a lot of searching and researching in those days… reading a ton when… LIBRARY CARDS ruled… I remember one book I… wrote so much in that I quote-unquote “LOST IT” just to keep it on my shelf…

RC gives her a look.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Really?

KATIE
Yeah. Dante Papers… I offered to pay a FINE the equivalent to … the PRICE of the book… A guess I might add since this was WAY before there was an AMAZON.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Gotcha!

KATIE
Now where was…?? Oh… Right… I feel that around that summer is when I was exposed to THE ARTIST’S WAY…
Somebody put it into my hands or… it jumped off a shelf into hands… something like that…

RC holds out his hand. Katie looks puzzled.

RC THE STORYTELLER
RAZR please. Let’s see if your little charger contraption worked its magic.

KATIE
Right…

She pulls out the RAZR and disengages it from the RIDGE MAGNETIC POWER BANK.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Well?

KATIE
I think… You’re in business which means… Field test complete… GEAR GUY surprise coming up.

RC THE STORYTELLER
And surprised, that husband of yours, will be, no doubt… Now let me…

He starts GOOGLE-ing.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Please to continue…

KATIE
So… Kee-Ra’s human MEREDITH was on about how she’s struggling with the whole MORNING PAGES concept which got me thinking… Did I struggle back then?

He looks at her.

RC THE STORYTELLER
And the answer is…?

The word “PAGES” is the problem. Triggers thoughts of… deliverables…

KATIE

RC THE STORYTELLER
Aiii-ya! Which means stressing out… deliverables have DEADLINES…

KATIE
Yeah… you got the picture. I’m thinking, too, that early on… PAGES written in INK was the deal. … Not only … like note-taking in meetings BUT also, don’t laugh, but back in the day … there was such a thing as BLUE BOOKS exams.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Wait… What??

RC pulls out his RAZR again and GOOGLEs.

As Googled…

RC THE STORYTELLER
Oh… Wow… !

She motions for him to FLIP it shut.

RC THE STORYTELLER
Gotcha! Please to continue…

KATIE
Well … Pretty much there was no way I’d be doing PAGES in PEN… So something…

She pauses. Pondering as they continue to walk along. Then a smile comes across her face.

KATIE
You know… back then I’d go here… or rather … there…

She points to down the beach to the small harbor away from the boardwalk.

KATIE
Pretty much every weekend to hang out while the beach was waking up and… return before the crowds arrived.

RC THE STORYTELLER
A mental break… Change of scenery and…

KATIE
Ponder time. NO DELIVERABLES. NO PAGES. I mean… we were lucky NO PHONES… Just playing in the sand and reading and chillaxing … though that wasn’t a word back then.

RC THE STORYTELLER

KATIE
