We were told the only issue with it was some battery struggles but upon further inspection, every bit of wiring is more of a mess than the last. This 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ S needs a full rewire, and I am determined to make it run. However, I've never touched a car in my life and have no idea where to start.

I got a pretty good deal on quite a bit of 85w -140 gear oil. That's what my limited slip calls for in the rear. However my front axle calls for 80w-90.

I tried googling around and from what I understand, 85w-140 provides better wear resistance than the 80w-90 at the expense of fuel economy. Is this pretty much the case? I'm not too worried about the one or two MPG if I can get better wear protection.

What do you guys think?
