There was no warning.
Having got it home I left it for the day and went back next morning and it started straight away. It has started for the last few days quite well but I haven't been on the road again.

That's what my limited slip calls for in the rear. However my front axle calls for 80w-90.

I tried googling around and from what I understand, 85w-140 provides better wear resistance than the 80w-90 at the expense of fuel economy. Is this pretty much the case? I'm not too worried about the one or two MPG if I can get better wear protection.

What do you guys think?

It is absolutely dead, no sign of trying to start.

The OBD1 flashing light system pointed at the pickup coil in the distributor. There are plenty to be found on the net from a very expensive Crown one to not so expensive Shanghai ones. They all look identical.
It is part number 5602 7023, which is embossed onto the disc.

I want to know how to test the one I have got. It has three wires. I can't find anything on YouTube other...

I started to look into Fram, and it turns out that First Brands, the owner is going bankrupt. It's one thing if just Fram went under, but there are tons of brands I've used my whole life going out of business.
