I had so much fun shooting this session with Hanford High Senior Rep Audree and her mom, Therese. Not only is Audree absolutely stunning, she is intelligent, funny, and extremely hard working. I know she will go far in life, and feel privileged to be able to document such a momentous time in her life! All I can say is, Audree, you rock!

These watches were her grandmother’s. Love them!

Hugo + Dalila: Engaged {Tri-Cities, WA Wedding and Engagement Photographer}

These two won my heart from the very beginning. Hugo contacted me a few months ago asking if I would shoot their wedding and engagement photos, and of course I said yes! Their love for each other is so endearing, and Hugo is so thoughtful and loving towards Dalila. I am beyond excited to document their wedding in August!

We started our session in local Downtown Kennewick, and meandered our way throughout the alleys, and storefronts…

Hugo is a photographer himself, and secured an UH-MAZE-ING location for us at a local farm for the second part of our session. The light was beautiful!

Thank you for sharing such a lovely day with Jeremy and I. Can’t wait for the wedding!

This is Vanessa. She is the bee’s knees. Not only is she a poet, a writer, a photographer, and all around awesome person, she is also my assistant extraordinaire, absolutely GORGEOUS (inside and out), and has more fashion sense in her little pinky than I could ever dream to have.

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all of my beautiful mom friends and clients out there. Being a mom is something to be cherished every day, and I have so much respect and love for all of you. Someday I hope to join the ranks of you amazing women

Almost 28 years ago my mom gave birth to her first born and began the journey of raising my four siblings and I. We’ve had our ups and downs and I know I wasn’t the easiest to get along with (especially during my teenage years) but I know my mom did her absolute best to raise us with love and for that I am eternally greatful.

Thank you for keeping a roof over my head.

Thank you for loving me.

Thank you for comforting me through all the breakups and heartaches.

And most of all, Thank You for believing in me.

My mom is a strong, good-willed person who has been through so much and I am very proud of who she has become throughout the years. Believe it or not, this marathon-running, bicycle-riding, mountain-hiking, downhill skiing, ER nurse and mother of five will be 47 on May 14th! I may be biased, but I think she is a beauty

2012 Senior Model Search is on!

Happy Monday!

Today I am happy to announce our Senior Model Search for the class of 2012!!!

Last year Jeremy and I shot a few senior sessions and had a BLAST, so we’ve decided to open our books to high school seniors in the Tri-City, Prosser, Walla Walla and surrounding areas for the 2011-2012 season.

We are looking for a few AMAZING high school students that will be graduating in 2012 to represent Jenifer Zohn Photographers throughout the school year.

Each model chosen will receive a discounted senior session complete with hair and makeup, FREE images for use on Facebook, Myspace, etc., invitation to an exclusive 2012 graduation party, and tons of opportunities to earn free prints and products, hair services and products from our salon, and gift cards to some of the best local boutiques, spas, and businesses in the area!

Applications must be submitted by 7PM, FRIDAY APRIL 29TH.

Jake + Laura: Engaged {Portland, OR Wedding and Engagement Photographer}

Jeremy and I were in the Portland area for Valentine’s weekend and met up with this lovely couple at McMenamin’s Edgefield in Troutdale, OR. These two are so sweet, and we had the best time walking about the beautiful grounds of The Edgefield and hanging out with them. Jeremy has known Jake for a long time, but we finally got to meet Laura a few months ago at our friend’s housewarming party. I was smitten with her from the get go and am so happy to see Jake with such a wonderful person.

Laura and Jake, Congrats! We couldn’t be happier for the both of you!

P.S. If you haven’t been to McMenamin’s Edgefield I highly recommend that you do. Either stay the weekend or stop at one of the many restaurants they have on the premises. It is like a magical wonderland Also, if you haven’t checked out and “liked” our new facebook page, please do so!

Happy Wednesday!

Just wanted to give a quick thank you to everyone that came out to the reception for my show last Tuesday. It was a blast, and we are blessed to have so many fabulous friends who support and love us.
