I’m not even sure what happened to this month. Honestly it’s been such a busy month it has really reminded me that we need to SLOW down. You are finishing up your first half year at preschool. Today was my first parent teacher conference with your teacher, Ms. Tiffani. Ms. Tiffani loves you so and says you are so fun to have in class. You love building things, arts and crafts and singing. You have a few little girl friends but she said you often like to play with your boys! That makes me smile. Lola is growing like crazy. in just a month she’s changed so much. One thing Lola has shown me… someday, sweet girl… you are going to be the best big sister. I love you more than anything and I’m excited about spending this summer with you.

Does anyone want to see my first photo session ever?! I have to say.. I’m a little nervous sharing. Not that baby James isn’t the cutest… but oh did I have a lot to learn! You see, June 2008 I was getting married and decided I needed a change. I taught elementary school for almost 10 yrs and needed a break. bad. I have always loved babies and photography, I just wasn’t sure that I had the confidence to turn it into a business. I dove in and have never looked backed! Baby James was my first photo session ever. I usually practiced on my friend’s babies because there was no pressure. So, here it is… baby james. Now here we are today, almost 4 years later and we have his sweet little brother Sam. He was perfect for our session today! Congratulations stegall family…. he is precious!

I was unable to fit baby Adriana in as a newborn… thankfully her sweet mom was patient enough to wait for my next opening! I’m so glad she did! While baby Adriana was a little unsure about the camera, her big sister Olivia was a HAM! Oh my goodness, I loved photographing her. She is going to be such a great big sister.
