I have been meaning to do this review for awhile and finally here it is. I love the concept of BB creams and this is a top favourite. Dr. Jart is Korean brand and is a popular favourite for some of the best BB creams out there. Here are my thoughts...

Dr. Jart - Black Label BB Cream

RRP £22 (50ml) - Similar available at Boots

It comes in a squeeze tube and is very easy to blend using just your fingers. It has a mild aloe scent to the formula and contains the benefits of a BB cream with added anti-wrinkle and whitening ingredients. In comparison to other BB creams the formula is thicker but very moisterising. Great for my dry skin!

Recommended for...

Full-medium natural dewy coverage

Normal - dry skin

Fair, ivory, yellow based skintones (ref. NC20)

I like to wear this alone for a natural dewy complexion. Adding a translucent powder on top with a little powder blush will allow for a more natural matte finish. This BB cream gives medium-full natural coverage that gives you a dewy finish, without feeling heavy. Which is why I tend to favor it as an alternative to wearing foundation. The colour match is perfect for my fair skintone and I would call this colour Ivory Beige.

From top: Oriental Gold Cream Blusher, Oriental Gold BB Cream & Dr Jart Black Label BB Cream

Even if you are not looking for a high coverage BB cream this product can be used little as you want to even out your skintone like a tinted moisturiser. If you are not a usually a foundation wearer then I would perhaps recommend a BB cream that has a thinner consistency. On application I find this will need a few minutes before it becomes settled onto the skin for it to not transfer.

I purchased this particular black label version online from outside the UK, but I know that Boots now stock other Dr. Jart BB creams, which I am excited about. I highly recommend checking out the range in store from this great brand.

Have you tried Dr Jart yet?

What is BB cream? Read my post here...

I have been introducing more colours into my neutral wardrobe this year. Painting your nails is a great way to add colour to your Winter wardrobe.

Orly Nail Polish in Lollipop

RRP £5 (5ml) - Available at Boots

This is an opaque pale lilac with a gray undertone. In the light you can see the pastel lilac more brightly. With a gray hue to this lilac pastel pair it with gray cable knit or floral brights. I really love this shade of lilac and its looks great especially for those with fair skin.

The formula is a little streaky and tricky to apply, so you do need a steady hand. However this was quickly resolved with a second coat. You definitely need two coats and a good top coat for this colour to fully develop.

This is one of their most popular products that I have been wanting to try for some time. Most obviously, lets first note the super cute packaging!

Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black

RRP approx. £12 - Available at Sasa

This is a ultra-fine tip liquid eyeliner ideal for tight lining the upper and lower lash-line. Applying a thin line creates a natural illusion of voluminous lashes. I really like the fine tip of this eyeliner and how easy it is to use. The tip is of various fine but firm bristles that make up a fine pointed brush. This makes it great for getting in between the lashes.

Its described as a deep black which I think is fair, although throughout the day it does fade a little. I have also noticed creating lines for general lining of the eyes it can tend to feather and bleed if you press on it too hard. The fine tip makes it ideal for creating subtle winged lines that look natural. This is perfect to extend and feather the lashline naturally as it is give you a thin line.

In comparison to my favourite high-end liquid eyeliner Lancome's Artliner, it just doesn't beat its opaqueness, finish and longevity. Although this is not a fair comparison, the Artliner is my preferred choice. I do like the Dollywink to get close to the lash-line but not so much if you prefer bolder and cleaner lines. I like to use this to finish after using the Artliner to create my top line to add a little winged effect to extend the corners of my lashline.

Cute and affordable! Great for everyday use to define your eyes.

An exclusive free sample of their new Burberry Body perfume was given to fans who liked their page. I love it when a good campaign comes together, especially when its beauty related!

I really love the elegant packaging of the bottle with the Burberry signature design encapsulated in the jeweled top. This is great to show what I would be really purchasing if I wanted to go for the full size. This is a lovely delicate sophisticated floral musk perfume. Very me and will be a favourite alongside my other favourite Burberry scent, Burberry Weekend.
Its always very important to try perfume samples as they develop very differently on different people. Kudos to Burberry for their initiative and making beauty lovers letterboxes across the world very happy!
There are always slight variations of that one shade that make each unique. Here are my top 3 I reach for the most for a quick and simple neutral look.

Nars - Ashes to Ashes
RRP £16.50 Available at Nars

A very soft and highly pigmented mushroom taupe. A definite neutral shade that is my favourite shimmery eyeshadow for everyday. The high-quality buttery texture makes it effortless and luxurious to apply.

Rouge Bunny Rouge - Solstice Halcyon
RRP £22 Available at Zuneta

This is my favourite eyeshadow for work for a more a professional look as this has less shimmer. This applies sheer but easily buildable with a more semi-matte satin finish. Again the excellent quality makes it effortless and luxurious to work with.

Benefit - Birthday Suit
RRP £14.00 Available at Benefit

A great taupe that almost looks metallic in light. Its always between this and my other favourite shade in 'RSVP' for a super easy fool-proof eye. I have had this for over a year and it still hasn't dried up!

You can never have too many taupe eyeshadows!

What are your favourites?

A primer underneath your foundation can help it look flawless and last longer. I have dry skin and with long days at work I rely on my favourite base products for makeup longevity. This product is a favourite amongst top makeup artists such as Lisa Eldridge and is a must-have for me.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

RRP £27.50 (50ml) - Available at Clarins

This really helps to smooth out fine lines, maximise moisture and give radiance to the skin. My skin feels more firm and smooth making it the perfect canvas. The balm is highly fragranced, however despite having sensitive skin I didn't receive any bad reactions. I enjoy its signature perfume scent and the instant lift it gives me. Its gives my skin extra grip that makes my foundation sit beautifully and feel really smooth.

The best method to apply this balm is by dotting pea sized amounts onto the main surface area of the face and immediately using the palm of your hands to quickly spread a thin layer, without rubbing it in. As a thick balm this can set quickly onto the skin and too much of this can cause it to build up.

The balm really makes my foundation last a lot longer and can even used alone for a beauty boost as a mask. Its makes a great quick pick me up skipping your moisteriser and facial mask to relieve dry dull skin. I often use it to double up as eye primer. It makes my makeup look flawless, last all day and keep my dry skin at bay.

The latest must have beauty gadget, Clarsonic Mia! A electronic face brush, which exfoliates using sonic vibrations. This is my review to help your decision whether to buy it too and how it made a difference to my skin.

Clarisonic Mia
RRP £120 - Available at Space NK

I decided on buying the Mia, the smaller version of the original Clarisonic.

Mia has only one speed setting whereas the original version has 3 speed settings. I don't think this makes much difference unless your wanting to use it on your body a lot, where the skin is tougher.

There is not a beeping timer on the Mia to notify you when to change position. I prefer this as I know I would get annoyed with the beeps and can customise the timings myself as opposed to the recommendation.

The difference in size and that the original comes with a larger brush head. I wanted mine travel friendly and figured I could still use the Mia on my body occasional changing to tougher brush head. I also have small hands so holding the Mia felt a lot more comfortable.

The Mia comes only with a sensitive brush head which is perfect for my sensitive skin. For me its already feels vigorous enough on the skin, so I am not sure how much more something more than a normal brush head would feel like.

The difference in my skin texture was instantly noticeable after just one use. It was a lot more smooth and supple. This proved to me the strong exfoliating properties and I was hooked on using this everyday. I felt my skin and pores feel thoroughly and deeply cleaned. Forgetting this was also very exfoliating for my sensitive skin I began experiencing a bad break out after a week of daily usage.

My advice would be to be cautious of using it everyday if you have spot prone or sensitive skin. The strong cleaning and scrubbing can make your skin over productive and oily. I changed my routine to using it just once or twice a week. I highly recommend removing your make up first with separate makeup remover or wipes before use. You don't want makeup to stain the brush head and get into your skin during the process.

After 5 weeks of using the Mia my skin had never felt or looked better. My large pores have been reduced as it gets the dirt out of them very effectively. This meant my skincare creams and serums were much more easily absorbed into the skin so I could use less of them. With long term and regular use I can look forward to clearer and more beautiful skin!

I do think using this everyday to just remove makeup is a little too much, but this depends on your skin. On the days I don't use my Mia I just use a gentle muslin cloth or my hands with a good cleanser. The Clarisonic Mia comes in a variety of pretty colours too.

Overall the Clarisonic has made my complexion more refined, radiant and less prone to break outs. I am to be without it!

My everyday routine never goes a miss with highlighter, for that glowing radiant complexion. The curiosity of Stila's relaunch got me rediscovering the brand again. Makeup and kittens what's not to love?

Stila All Over Shimmer Powder

RRP £15.00 (5.3g) - Available at Beauty Bay

As you can see the compact is very pretty, nude metallic plastic casing. This was what initially got me excited and after seeing you can get two different shades inside, I do think this product offers something different with value. Not only do you get the popular shade Kitten but also a very lovely bronze colour as well.

It is very finely milled and soft to the touch. This texture makes the powder transfer as a subtle glow to the skin. You don't' detect any heavy shimmer or glitter making it appear very natural. The pigmentation differs in the two shades. The lighter side is subtle whereas the bronze side has slightly more colour pay off. You can't find yourself being heavy handed with the lighter side and it can even look great all over face for a more dewy complexion.

I love using the bronze side to add more depth and highlight to my peach toned blushers. The Kitten shade in this compact which is the lighter side is more subdued than I thought. So those of you wondering if you can use this alone as an eyeshadow, I would say your best going for the original Stila 'Kitten' eyeshadow. The bronze side alone however makes a great eyeshadow. The size of the compact could be larger for you to be able to pick up each colour with a large brush, but considering the price this is not bad at all.

This is a great multi purpose product. Whats your favourite product from Stila?

Here are some products I personally wouldn't repurchase. The following products weren't for me but they might be for you!

Benefit Posie Tint RRP £24.50

The colour is pretty but difficult to really build on colour. With dry skin being a very liquid consistency makes it hard to blend. Very subtle colour wash on the cheeks but not very noticeable on the lips. For the price I felt the performance of the product was average.

Batiste Big & Bouncy XXL Volume Review RRP £3.29

The original Batiste dry shampoo formulas are great for a quick pick me up. This did give my hair volume but it felt very stiff and unpleasant, defeating the object of freshly washed hair. It also took a lot of effort to brush it out of my hair. I think dry shampoo and hairspray should stay two separate products!

Sudocream Tube RRP £1.99

I love the tube packaging but the formula isn't the same as the original cream in the tub. The results didn't seem to work as much for healing the skin.

What are your thoughts on these products and
do you have any alternative recommendations?

I was persuaded in store to take a look at Benefit's new skincare range which I wasn't really interested in. I am not really a big fan of their makeup, however the skincare range looked different with a more refreshing appeal. I picked up the face wash and here are my thoughts!

Benefit Foamingly Clean Facial Wash
RRP £16.50 (4.5oz) - Available at Boots

Benefit skincare claims to brighten and effectively clean your skin without being harsh. The fragrance despite being synthetic is really lovely; aloe-vera and cucumber. A refreshing scent to match the refreshing range. I usually try to avoid foaming washes since it can tend to dry out my skin, but this lightly foams without drying out or tightening my skin. The silky and light foaming texture cleaned my skin really well. My complexion appeared more bright and awake after just one use.

I personally prefer more natural and sensitive skin based skincare face cleansers and although this didn't break me out, I prefer more of a deep clean. This being at a medium price point,I don't mind paying a bit extra for higher quality and natural based ingredients. This is more of a personal preference and I would still recommend this product as it does perform well.

Benefit offer you a 28 day returns policy with your receipt which I think is brilliant. So this may not be the face wash for me but I can see it being a brilliant face wash for others who like foam and have normal to combination skin. This really encourages to me look into more products from their range and see what else I might like.

Dear Benefit you have really surprised me with your skincare range

and the 28 day returns policy is a great idea!

A review of the bronzer/blusher I have been loving using for the last month! I am usually on a budget and am quite good into not caving into limited edition products, but after seeing other reviews and swatches this seemed perfect. Paul & Joe's signature packaging is always beautiful and it was exciting to see this season's range.

RRP £21.00 (7.4g) Available at Beauty Bay

The packaging is light weight and larger than the usual blushers by P&J. Despite this there is no space underneath the compact to store the synthetic crescent brush it comes with. This is annoying since the brush is really soft and brilliant to sweep the soft delicate powder onto your cheeks. The powder is lightly fragranced with P&J's signature scent. The fish design on the powder is a decorative over spray which comes off very easily.

My current favourite is Nars Laguna bronzer, so this will be compared to that out of interest. This product has just the right amount of bronze to use all over the face and to contour my cheeks. The tone of this bronzer is more subtle than others and I can use the peach shimmer it includes to create peachy cheeks, which I always adore for the Summer.

L - R: 1. P&J Peach Shimmer, 2. P&J Blue Horizon Bronzer, 3. Nars Laguna (Enlarge)

This bronzer does has have light orange undertone to it, so I prefer it more as a blusher. I think this compliments the light shimmery peach shade inside which I use on top of the bronzer for a contoured blush, concentrating it to highlight the tops of my cheekbones.

From the swatches you can see Laguna is a few shades darker with no orange undertones which is why I prefer it for contouring. I prefer a more delicate and natural approach to my application, although this blue horizon bronzer is buildable. The peach is sheer with lovely fine shimmers. Both very blendable and effortless to use.

I would highly recommend this beautiful bronzer before its too late!

Sudocrem has always been a favourite product of mine for treating blemishes, rashes and cuts.

Sudocrem Tube 30g

RRP £1.99 Available at Boots

Sudocrem is originally a thick medicinal cream and this tube boots a new easily absorbed formulation. The thick formula never really bothered me because I used it where I left the cream on the targeted area for a few minutes during my sleep. Or leave it on a few minutes like a mask during the day. Not all over the face but just where I had blemishes. I have always found this a great way to reduce redness and heal blemishes rapidly. Plus it being lavender scented was an added treat to send me to sleep!

The new Sudocrem in a tube was improved so that the cream could absorb better into the skin. This new tube formula is not medically licensed as appose to the original Sudocrem in a tub. It lacks a few ingredients from the original formula. So despite it looking and smelling the same, unfortunately it just isn't the Sudocrem I know and love.

I love the new packaging but not the new formula. Although it does absorb into the skin much easier than the original cream, providing you use a small amount. If you didn't like the original formula you might prefer this new lighter version in a tube.

You can also enjoy Sudocrem's Bagology Facebook App,

where you can reveal what your handbag says about you.

I chose the satchel bag :)

This is a popular pressed mineral powder by MAC and I decided to give it a go after going without a pressed powder in my handbag for sometime. Using my favourite loose powders I find it rare for the need to touch up during the day.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium
RRP £18.50 (10g) - Available at MAC

With micro shimmers in the powder it gave my skin a natural semi-matte finish. It offers light coverage making it great to cover any minor discolouration or redness. The shade medium is neutral and is actually lighter on the skin than it looks in the pan (Ref. NC20). It lasted reasonably well, although by the end of the day I would need to retouch. I choose to usually use loose powder to set my foundation for longer oil control and longevity. This is not a very mattifying powder but gives you a semi-matte skin like finish, so I wouldn't recommend this for those with really oily skin.

The texture of the powder is fine and smoothing on the skin. Whilst its not the finest, its certainly not chalky. However after several uses I did notice it becoming rather messy to work with. As a compact pressed powder I didn't expect so much fallout when sweeping my brush across the surface. I know you do get a bit, but it kept gathering on the outer edges and meant I was wasting a lot of product.

This product does help my skin to look flawless and I like to use it mainly to set BB cream. You could use this alone for light coverage. I am also glad this didn't break me out. Its great but I don't love it. I do think for a powder compact it would benefit from having a mirror inside. I know a lot of people do love this and I can see why.

Do you love this and what other pressed powders would you recommend?

Again never failing to disappoint with their beautiful packaging, but as we all know its whats inside that counts. Courtesy of Rouge Bunny Rouge more whimsical lip beauty treats!

Kiss Elixir Lip Balm

RRP £18 (6ml) - Available at Zuneta

I admit I was initially taken back by what seemed smaller quantity than I was expecting. However its not really bad at all, but wait till you see the next product! The amount in this actually works out similar to other lip balms except that this in a very convenient squeeze tube. I like this a lot and I am able to control the amount that comes out.

The balm contains Jojoba, Macadamia and Avocado Oils as well as Vitamin E. Its greatly infused with sweet honey with a hint of mint and contains a sugar scrub. This makes it taste and feel like pure refreshing minty honey on your lips! Its quite addictive and the texture is luxurious. Its a balm that really works its way into your lips and melts on smoothly. This is no casual lip balm and definitely made my lips feel very hydrated and treated.

When I purchased the Chanel Hydramax lip balm I hoped it would feel something like this and that costs more. This does not look like gloss on the lips and is more like a lip treatment. The initial tacky feeling fades quickly to reveal baby soft lips. The price is on the high side but this did leave my lips feel incredibly moisturised and not forgetting this is a luxury brand. I would repurchase this and can imagine this will be a Winter savior.

Devilish Nectar Lip Potion
RRP £24 (3.5ml) - Available at Zuneta

This cute mini vial of sparkles did take me by surprise, as this is actually a full size product. This lipgloss contains a mix of spiced essential oils to give your lips a natural rush of colour. Rouge Bunny Rouge utilises this interesting concept into a beautiful sparkling lipgloss.

The gloss is clear but has beautiful iridescence of rainbow coloured micro sparkling pigments. Its applies very smoothly with the little soft lip brush. It does make my lips looks very pretty and plump, although I can't say I noticed a colour change. The spices did give my lips a slight tingling sensation. This is a luxurious treat if you are looking for a plumping lipgloss and ultimate space saver in your handbag.

These extravagant lip products are definitely

a beautiful and luxurious treat! Thank you Rouge Bunny Rouge.

These are velvety soft pressed pigments in a pot and are very pigmented and shimmery. They go on smoothly and best applied with your fingers. They lasted well with primer but did start to show signs of fading around 6 hours. This means if you have oily lids, especially in the crease these might not last as long. Despite the pigmentation and beautiful colour the staying power of these can vary.

For the current warm weather these might not be the best type of eyeshadow to wear. The shades are buildable as swatched several times here. 001 'Time Resist White' is a cool silver toned white that is very pretty as a sheer layer to brighten eyes and to be used in the inner corners. 012 'Endless Chocolat' is great for an a intense gold infused bronzed eye.

These have even been suggested as a high-street alternative to Giorgio Armani's 'Eyes To Kill' eyeshadows. Feeling very satisfied with my high-street bargain, I only hope I am not missing out on much. I really like the packaging of these as they don't look bad at all in their sturdy plastic screw-top jars. These are definitely a great high-street buy.

Petal is a really gorgeous opaque nude lipgloss by Jemma Kidd and this could be easily worn alone due to its high pigmentation. I find its a perfect match for No7 nude lip liner to make it stay in place for longer. I love how the lip gloss is grapefruit scented and the lip liner is automatic.

These are really easy products to use to create a perfect nude lip!

I do like my cleaning products being a cleanaholic and when I heard about this product I was instantly sold. Especially since my makeup collection has significantly grown over the year. This is a side effect of beauty blogging! Although I am careful with my makeup I have always wanted a more effective and quick way of cleaning used makeup.

Beauty So Clean is used by professional makeup artists to disinfect and clean makeup products and tools. I went and bought the products online without hesitation with genuine excitement. I can honestly say it does whats its supposed to do and I would recommend it. I bought the Sanitizer Spray and Brush Cleaner Spray, so one for cleaning makeup products and one for brushes.

Cosmetic Sanitizer Mist
RRP £11 (8ml) - Available at Guru Makeup Emporium

You can use the Sanitizer Spray on blushers, eyeshadows or lipsticks. It can be cream or powder. You just spray it a few centimeters away from the product and let it dry naturally. Its takes a few minutes to dry depending how how much you've sprayed. The end result means your makeup is now germ free and new again. Its doesn't ruin them and the spray is unscented. It comes in a 8ml pocket spray but I know you can buy an industry large bottle for around £20. Since you only need one to two sprays per product this can last awhile for personal use.

Conditioning Brush Cleanser
RRP £11 (125ml) Available at Guru Makeup Emporium

The spray is ideal for spot cleaning your makeup brushes in between washes. I wash my brushes once a week and always spot clean them after daily use. I would recommend washing your brushes at least once a week especially if you store them standing up right in a pot. I usually just spot clean my bushes using a baby wipe, however with this spray I can ensure my brushes are bacteria free.

The only argument with this product is that your buying overpriced alcohol spray. This is partly true except pure alcohol can ruin and spoil your makeup products. I have tried this before and it made my eyeshadow glaze and harden. Beauty So Clean contains added conditioning and emollient ingredients to ensure its safe on makeup and brushes. (Ingredients)

I love now knowing my makeup is even more clean and I can also buy used makeup from blog sales with more reassurance too. I would repurchase the Sanitizer Spray to continue cleaning my makeup and whilst the Brush Spray is great too I am aware you can find an inexpensive alternatives out there that could be just as good.

How often do you clean your makeup and brushes?

The prepping and finishing stage are vital for longer wearing and natural looking makeup. I always use a setting powder to set my makeup. My favourites are in the form of a loose powder as I find this gives maximum effect to natural looking skin and diminishing fine lines and pores. Here are my current two favourites I highly recommend.

Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre in Translucent

RRP £30 (30g) - Available at Debenhams

This powder comes in various shades and this is the lightest shade; translucent. It offers a satin finish with tiny reflective pigments that helps give subtle luminosity to the skin. This is very finely milled and really makes my skin appear naturally glowing, whilst blurring out any imperfections. The finish doesn't make you look shiny in person or in photos.

The downside to this is the size of the large yet beautiful tub. Although for the amount you are getting this will last you a very long time. This is luxurious to use and makes my skin look and feel amazing. I can rest assure I don't need to powder my face after a long day at work. Although in the Summer, as a semi-matte powder I find a touch up might be needed.

This is also a translucent powder but offers a more definite matte finish. The white powder dissipates quickly and easily into any skin tone, whilst feeling cooling on the skin. There are no light reflecting particles but does an equally great job at blurring imperfections. The oil control and longevity of this is more than the Chanel powder as a matte powder.

I know I can always rely on this when traveling as it is more conveniently sized to ensure my makeup looks flawless. I thought I had run out this but realised I hadn't taken the seal off completely. So after a year I still had just under half left. This amazed me and makes me wonder how long would the Chanel powder could last.

Compact powders are good for on the go touch ups. Although I rarely need to as these loose powders really make my makeup last all day. Loose powders may not be for everyone as they can get a little messy. I always keep my makeup towel on my lap when doing makeup, unscrewing the lid with extra caution and having wipes nearby. Its not too bad if you are careful and the results are worth it. A little goes a long way and so I prefer using a small fan brush to make sure I pick up just enough.

For long-lasting flawless looking skin I definitely recommend a using
a loose setting powder. Whats your favourite?
I purchased my first one in an outlet sale and the second free with my recent small purchase from Zuneta. One of my favourite places to shop when I want to spoil myself.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Decadent Duo
RRP £28 (6ml) - Available at Zuneta

The decadent duo is my favourite product by RBR and as a great multi-purpose product its always in my handbag. One end has a lipgloss and the other a liquid blush. The lipgloss is very buttery smooth on your lips, thanks to RBR's unique and luxurious formula. The lipglosses are sheer with a tint of colour and have a good weighty feel onto the lips without being sticky.

The liquid blush is also sheer, which looks very natural on the skin. These blend effortlessly for a natural flushed look or used as a base. I like using this to top up blush without disturbing my foundation and having to carry around a powder blush. The gloss comes with a doe foot applicator whereas the liquid cheek colour comes with a small brush applicator.

Colour - Samba Enredo Duo
The Samba lipgloss is infused with sparkly pearl pigments for added iridescence. I really love this unique pale pink shade with lavender undertones and I love wearing it alone.

The Enredo liquid blush is a pretty rose petal pink, a universally flattering shade. This is seems a safe duo to get if you unsure about the other colours.

Colour - Duende Flamenco Duo
The Flamenco lipgloss is a peach beige which appears very nude on the lips. Although the colours are sheer this is the sheerest our of the colour choices. Its smaller reflexes of pearl pigment make it beautiful. The lipgloss wears well over bright lipstick to tone it down or on its own for as subtle look.

The Duende liquid blush is a beige tawny colour bordering peach that mimics the nude tone of the lipgloss. This warming colour makes my cheeks look really naturally defined. This is an usual choice of colour for me and its looks really refreshing and minimal. Due to the sheer tone of this duo I would recommend this for those with fairer skin tones. I personally love how nude this is and very easy to wear.

I love both equally as much so I can't choose!

Which one would you pick?

I received a sample of this dry oil awhile go and I wasn't sure what to do with it! A great new discovery and perfect for my get away.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or Multi-Usage Dry Oil
RRP £23 (50ml) - Available at Space NK

This is a moisturising dry oil that you can use on your body and in your hair. It contains 30% natural plant oils and vitamin E to really nourish your skin without feeling greasy. This is the dry oil with shimmer but you can get the original oil without the shimmer. The formula is a light oil that easily absorbs into the skin or hair leaving it feeling really nourishing and soft.

The oil instantly dries when rubbed in and leaves a strong woody and musky fragrance. The more you apply the fragrance becomes stronger. I find its almost a perfume in itself, so this could be a hit or miss for some. Personally I love it and adds to the luxurious texture and packaging. The packaging is made of glass but is very heavy duty and would fine be in your luggage.

The shimmering effect on the skin was difficult to catch on camera but they are fine gold glitter particles that really shine to blur any imperfections when used on the skin. Although the glitter isn't chunky, it is apparent you have gold glitter on you, so go easy. The glitter is sparse when applied and from afar it looks really pretty.

The oil makes my skin really soft and glossy whilst catching glimpses of pretty sparkle in the sunshine. Especially in my hair it looks just as pretty. Only downside to this product it that is contains no SPF and so should be layered over a sunscreen. A joy to use and will be definitely taking it on all my holidays!

Have you tried this and what do you think of it?

Topshop you pleasantly surprised me! Let me share with you these sweet polka dotted lip polishes.
Topshop Lip Polish
RRP £4 (3.5g) - Available at Topshop

These come in small clear pots with a mirror inside which is really convenient for on the go. Except I find the formula just too soft for applying with your fingers. I think you really do need a lip brush to perfectly apply these, so a handy travel lip brush is advised. These are really glossy but not sticky on your lips. These are very well pigmented, buildable for strong colour or used as a tint.

The colours and the pigmentation is what I like best about these lip polishes. The only downside to this product is its not really moisterising and is not the most pleasantly scented. Although this is easily overcome with lip balm or primer which I always apply with any lip colour. However for the price and colour payoff this won't put me off from repurchasing.

The formula is soft almost jelly like. Its gets a bit messy with fingers and really applies the best when brushed onto the lips. Iced Coffee is a warm rose beige, the most opaque colour which is great for a sophisticated my lips but better. Lavender is a cool lilac which silver shimmers which really great for muting bright colours. Poetic is a baby pink with silver shimmer which makes a cute pink nude lip.

pretty polished lips on a budget!
This is going to be very much like the popular series of disappointing products but I've decided to call mine my no thank you's! Okay lets start with product number one!

Paul & Joe Creamy Cheek- 03 Peaches RRP £18
This colour is so beautiful in the pan and the cream to powder consistency is very soft. Perhaps I just got the wrong colour but the colour payoff is poor. Just a bit too subtle for me. The shimmers in this are also very subtle so I cannot even use it alone to a highlight. It just doesn't show up on my skin tone and I can't bare to look at this unused.

Malin & Goetz Rice Bran Eye Moisteriser RRP £28
The consistency of this is a thick white cream and felt really moisturising when tested on my hands. Although when it came to my eyes I noticed you need to rub quite hard, which is not recommended. This made it really hard for it to absorb, even though it specifically said no residue formula. This was disappointing as it did leave traces of white residue.

Prestige Baked Mineral Blush- Peach RRP £8.49
I was super impressed with Prestige's Mineral Bronzer which is one of my favourite high-street powder highlighters. So I was sure I would like their blushes. This blusher has poor pigmentation and does little to give radiance. Not impressed at all!

Whats your latest disappointing products?

I purchased this after receiving a few points on my Space NK loyalty card. This is not normally a brand I would look into but it sounds and looks perfect!

As you can see it comes in a very ultra sleek white gold tube and uses a long doe foot applicator. The applicator shape applies the product well and its not messy when you take the wand out after each use. This is not really scented which is a plus, especially when it comes to eye products for me. For example I really don't like the scent of Urban Decay's primer potion despite being a great product.

By Terry Hyaluronic Eye Primer in Light 01
RRP £30.50 (7.5ml) - Available at Space NK

The formula of this does not dry tacky and blends easily into a thin silky base, you only need to gently pat this around your eyes. I know some eye primers are more creamier in consistency but I found this sometimes meant having to rub more or the eyeshadow stops blending in smoothly where you've only applied the primer. Whereas this blends in with your foundation seamlessly and effortlessly, which is great for my dry skin.

This gives you a flawless and smooth base to work your eyeshadows on and makes them last all day. My eyeshadows did not crease or fade. I have a feeling this will definitely last me sometime as you only need a few dots. It helps to really brighten my eyes and keep in my eyeshadow in place all day.

Its that time of year where I am bringing out extra SPF to my daily skincare routine. La Roche-Posay is a french skincare brand I like a lot and is great for sensitive skin.

This is a SPF especially for the face as you don't want the usual sun creams for the body that are just too thick and heavy. I have not really explored many other brands but this is non-perfumed, paraben-free, water resistant and protects you from UVA and UVB rays. Everything you need!

La-Roche Posay Anthelios Melt-in Cream SPF 30
RRP £13.28 (50ml) - Available at Boots

The formula is a nice light cream that literally melts into your skin with ease. This will not crease or film and you won't feel like you've just applied anything extra. I have dry and porous skin therefore I was hesitant that this may block my pores causing me to break out. However with La Roche-Posay I can rest assure that wouldn't be the case for me. This product also comes in SPF 50 too, for those sun seekers.

Protect and love your skin! Wear SPF.

This blusher is a great staple colour in my collection and can really be worn all year round. A pretty classic by Elizabeth Arden.

Elizabeth Arden Colour Intrigue Cheek Colour
in Sugar Plum
RRP £23 (4.53g) - Available at your nearest EA counter

This blush is a perfect universal neutral shade, so no doubt why I love it so much. Its a dusky muted rose tone that really looks very natural, especially for those with fair skin tones. The blusher comes with a large mirror and brush which is great for on the go, but I do find the brush a little scratchy. With the space I could easily change it to a different brush from another compact.

It is smooth, velvety and I find lasts all day. I really don't like carrying makeup around with me and its products with formulas like this that make it worthwhile. When it comes to any product I rarely change it up and try to stick to one as often as I can, this usually proves how much I love a product and how much I am always searching for my favourites.

A complete classic and staple in any blusher collection.
