g) Was their any important info you felt was missing?

Site:
a) Music, yay or nay? I don’t mean if you think it’s good music or not, I mean yay or nay to having music period.
b) Flash, yay or nay? Did you have problems loading it?

Blog:
a) The Header: Do you like the rotating images, have you ever watched them?
b) My Bio: Does it need to be front and center? Does it get old seeing it every time you visit? I won’t be offended
c) No. of Images in wedding post: More than 25? More than 50? How many do you enjoy seeing?
d) Are the images too big/too small?

Please answer as many or as few of these as you’d like! The more the better of course!

AND because every post needs a picture. Here’s an oldie I shot with a disposable water camera in Blue Ridge, GA a couple years ago.
I love it because I just happened to catch my best friend Joy kissing her hubby Luke on the river. I miss those guys.

I was a bit nervous going into it since for me, it was the first of its kind. Callie approached me forever ago when she found out her two best friends from her  Warner University days were going to be in town. They wanted to do a session together and it sounded like fun so I naturally agreed. I knew there wouldn’t be kissing, staring, chasing or anything I’m used to so as time grew closer I wondered how it would all go down. Well world, when I got to Winter Park and saw these three girls- I almost jumped up and down.  If you had told me 100x how beautiful, hilarious, fun and stylish this trio would be, I still wouldn’t have expected I’d get this lucky. I was like a kid on Christmas morning who just opened up a pony or something.  We had so much fun and I am hoping that these girls won’t be afraid of me from now on.  I am slightly obsessed with them now. Can you blame me?

Today my lovey turns 29.

We’re celebrating tonight with a home-cooked meal by Momma C.

Not long ago she shared with me the crazy story of what happened the day my true love was born.
The nurse on duty left a lot to be desired and neglected to attend to Dave’s mom who was beyond ready to deliver.
As the hours passed, it was discovered that Dave was transverse, couldn’t breathe and needed to get out immediately .
The doctors asked Dave’s Dad to leave the room because there was less than a 50% chance that he would be born alive.
There were more details involved but it’s clear that God was in control and  that He has a plan for my husband’s life.

I am just so thankful to be a part.

The greatest gift in my life has been his life.

I couldn’t ask for a more humble, loving, generous, brilliant or hilarious friend to grow old with.

Dave, you’re the best and I love you. Happy Birthday

Heather and I have been friends for 9 years. We met our freshman year of college and I can honestly say that I do not know who I would be without her influence on my life during that time.

As I watched she and Ian dance at their reception, I was overcome with joy.  With the proudest smile across his face, Ian spun and twirled Heather around the floor.

It was the moment every girl longs for, and Heather had it.

Heather and Ian, thank you for inviting me to be part of your wedding day in the way that means the most to me.

Heather, thank you for loving me and always pushing me to be who God intended me to be.

Ian, you are one lucky man.

I also want to thank Shannon who joined me in the collection of these images. Many that you see here are hers and have me completely smitten.

Well I do. And ever since Dave and I visited this spot in Orlando last year I’ve wanted to do a session here. Last weekend I finally had my chance.

Lauren and her gorgeous family live in Orlando and since I was headed up there for Heather & Ian’s wedding, it worked out perfectly to do their session at this dreamy locale.

I’ve known Lauren since college but I was delighted to meet her handsome boys. Daniel and Baby Brock were just as charming as anything and I truly felt like I’d won the family shoot lottery.

Lauren and Daniel, thanks for a fun morning! Another thanks to our helpers Shannon and Uncle “Tom” for your creative contributions. And thanks to God for this heavenly light!

Fave. This next shoot literally makes my heart flutter.
