Your face tells me you’re confused. Walk with me. I know. I know. It’s very random. Why do I want to talk about blue wildflower wedding flowers?

Well, it’s all I’m thinking about right now and this is for those who, like me, have been searching like crazy for ideas for blue wildflowers for an October wedding.

Okay so not all these flowers are ‘wild’ but they’re blue (except the leaves and berries and bits of white – they’re my fillers to add a smattering of a different colour against the blue) and in season.

Here’s a list for you:
Eustoma Mariachi Blue
Freesia Cote d’Azur
Agapanthus Donau (or Intermedius or Dr Brouwer or Marine)
Bouvardia Royal Naomi
Blue dyed roses
Centaurea Cyanus (or Montana)
Aconitum Carmichael Arendsis
Aster Parade (or Cassandra)
Veronica Dark Martje
Hypercum red berries
Eucalyptus Baby Blue
Ruscus small leaf
Trachelium Blue Shine
Eryngium Supernova (or Alpinum or Vega Questar)
Gentiana Royal Blue (or Sky Blue)
Limonium Sinuatum Girlie Wings
Gypsophilia New Love (or Mirabella)

Okay, I’m feeling okay now that that’s all out. You finding this funny? You have a beautiful smile you know that?

Anyway, sorry for being a stranger. I’ve been really busy. Let’s not mention the other stuff I’m obsessing about right now but there’s a lot of information out there about that so I’m not repeating it. My head is full of blue wedding flowers and – on a totally different subject – apertures, shutter speeds, ISOs and lighting, lighting and lighting. I won’t bore you.

So how have you been?
